That's awesome to finally see someone with a Last Action Hero pinball. That's the one pinball I had as a kid. Long story short, the movie bombed. That's how I got it.
I played as a kid now I’m 62 just got back into it at the pub I think about it all day it’s like a drug habit I just have to have a couple of games to get my fix Darren from Australia
Doesn't sound much like my life. A good part was playing pinball at the Broadway Arcade from open to close 7 days a week. I really packed them in and Steve made all the money thanks to me packing all the people into the arcade.
Interesting personal story - we all have one of those to tell. There is a story out there of how pinball is coming back (if only for a short time) and how a new generation (the 'video game' generation) are starting to take interest. I'd like to see that documentary.
"Under the glass" is pretty good here on youtube, but I see what you mean. My connections are pretty limited in the pinball community, but if there's funding out there for it, I would hop on that opportunity for sure. Thanks for your feedback!
A pretty interesting watch. I have played a lot of pinball...and made a lot of documentaries. After about three minutes I noticed the info about the ‘48-hour challenge.’ Then everything started to make sense. You can only get so far in 48 hours, eh. What kind of cameras did you use? And what kind of mic for the main interview? I hate to think of how many of those 48 hours you spent working just to get it all looking and sounding good. Good job!
Thank you. So this was done using a Panasonic G7, and a Sony 6300, with a rode Filmmaker lav kit into a Zoom H4N. It feels like forever ago, but it was a great learning experience. Thanks for the feedback.
I was pinball, everywhere I went was where pinball machines are. I was the best in the city of Toronto at age four I was that good. I was so good I performed exhibitions at local arcades showing off ricochet shooting where you shoot the pinball with one flipper and blast it with the pinball from the other flipper into the intended target. I routinely blasted 3 balls into the gun slot on the Terminator 2 pinball machine busting the machine. This is Tommy Tutalidge from rec.game.pinball the man that rules the world of pinball and the greatest born natural athlete in any sport.
I love pinball, but this is such a low effort "documentary", if it can even be called that (it's more of an extended interview, at best, of a family member or of a friend of a friend (and LOL, the video is playing music from "Black Knight" pinball, which isn't even featured in the video -- really amateurish "documentary" filmmaking)).
Seriously, they make a pinball "documentary" and 90% of the footage is some generic guy sitting on a stool yacking and yacking, 90% of which is boring nonsense. Boring as fuck. I have to assume this garbage was paid for by the generic guy sitting on the stool. I can't imagine another explanation.
It was actually part of a 48 hour challenge. Everything from the planning, to the final edit was made in 48 hours. Sean was kind enough to invite us into his home and chat about his passion on less than a days notice. Thanks for watching, and have a great day :)
Pro Tip: Change the speed of this doc to 1.5 x faster, and skip ahead to about 4:55
awesome man! I like your style.
Is that Space Station pinball music playing in the background? Love it.
pinball is coming back stronger than ever i was a teen in the 90s best time for pins untill now. imo
I absolutely agree with you. It seems like there's a really great community out there.

If I'd the money I'd definitely buy a Pinball machine resp. have it imported. Williams High Speed was one of my alltime favourite machines!!
could not agree more, just like fixing up old cars i have both equally rewarding!!!
pinside is the most wonderful forum I've joined in years. I can't say enough about how helpful and great it is to have a resource like that. ^_^
I just joined today, look for Tommy Tutalidge.
Excellent doc! Cherished collection. IMO it's soon time to sell one machine for a VR ready PC!
+glennietube Thanks!
Thanks very much!
I understand the problem of limited space but then again: These machines are placed so close to each other that executing a slap save is impossible.

Great documentary! I have always loved pinball machines and own three myself: Haunted House, Black Hole, and Volcano.
you got the 2 machines who has 3 levels lol .. maybe te most expensive gottlieb machines atm
I wanted to get a pinball machine until I looked at the prices. That's a lot of quarters, no wonder arcades are mostly gone.
Pinball seems like a great hobby for those fluent in electronics and a pitfall for those who are not
Pinball seems to be in full swing again these days. I'm sure there's plenty of private owners but they're in public places too.
This is so cool and I enjoy the colors and visuals of pinball machines too 😀🎰
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

First thought right away was "there is a D&D pinball game?!?!?!" lol
He’s a pinball flipper flipper!

14:45 Now there is full VR pinball. Been playing a lot of Zaccaria Pinball VR and it's almost as real as having the physical machines.
Great video!! It's a dream of mine to one day of owning one. They truly are magical.

Curling, out, neat, friend skip, these are a must be a Canadian red flags lol
It must be nice to be a pinhead with that much money for machines!
They are not computer boards. They are called printed circuit boards. Thank you, Mentor Mac

With this kind of money you can easily divorce your wife and get a new girl that will enjoy the pinballs and enjoy the hobby with you :P
give me your money
BK2000 has such an awesome soundtrack!
I was interested in this by the title but...sorry... got through about 4 minutes and was bored to tears.
