  • Hello, everyone! We just recently moved to London, UK! 🙂
We are starting a UA-cam channel to share our journey - what it's like moving away from home (the Philippines) and starting a new chapter in the UK. We have been travelling a lot before we relocated but things are different when you move to a new country. ✈️
It took us a while to start this vlog since we are so busy with tons of stuff after we relocated (we had so many things to do and we will share more of this soon! 😅). Clips were filmed March 2023.
We will create content as much as we can because we are excited to discover new things & share our experiences! 🇬🇧

Hello can you talk about crown relocation, or expenses when you had your stuff shipped.

Hello! Thank you for watching! 😊 For Crown, they were only in charge of packing and shipping out our boxes (Air & Sea) from PH to UK. They conducted a survey of our goods pre-packing day so they’ll know the time to allocate and which packing materials to bring 🙂 We wish we could help to give you an idea of the cost but it was paid by the employer directly to Crown so we had no visibility about the billing 😅

Hi! New subscriber here :) just saw ur vlogs last night when I’m searching about relocation to London! May I ask what are the requirements for your visa (and your partner’s) application and how long does it take to get it approved? In my case kasi, i will be transferred to our London office, and I have a husband and a 1 yr old daughter. Will it take months for the relocation from when your employer confirmed the transfer to the visa processing etc? Was it easier since the employer will process everything? Ano sa mga requirements ung medyo challenging or nahirapan ka to submit?

Hello! Thank you for subscribing 🙂 We followed what's stated in the UK Government website for both main applicant & dependent - Took us 4 business day from submission of requirements to claiming of passports as we were on Priority Visa service. As for the entire duration of the relocation process, there are many factors that come into play but it will mainly depend on how fast can you complete the requirements for you, your son & your husband's visa. Another factor is how early can you schedule your TB test & VFS appointment. In our case it took us more or less 2 months, from gathering of requirements to visa issuance. Employer provided everything and has a designated relocation advisor + a solicitor in the UK who processed all our documents, yung mga PH documents na lang yung sinecure namin sa Manila. Definitely hassle-free than DIY, go for it if employer-provided. Also, we think it's easier if married since you can easily establish that fact. If you will apply for the Skilled Worker visa, better to check the turnaround time sa PH Government agencies. Heard stories na puro doon yung bottleneck. We didn't have to do that since we came in the UK as Expats. Hope this helps, just drop us a message if you have questions 😉

@@heywheresbb wow, thanks for the detailed response, super helpful! 😃 I’ll message you again if I have questions if you don’t mind. Like you, I’m also in the Finance industry and hopefully same ung process ng company namin, fingers crossed 🤞🏻. Currently not finalised pa as to the transfer and stuffs, pero there’s a high possibility kasi kaya as early as now nagreresearch na hehe

Good call on researching in advance! 😉 We did this too though but we felt the time gets shorter and shorter as soon as you receive your visa/vignette. Magiging mabilis na ang oras after that 😅 Good luck on your move guys, hope all goes well 🤞

Hi! Good Day. Question, during your visa processing, kasama na din duon ang pag take ng IELTS or PTE Academic UKVI? Or, hindi na required for you na mag take ng English exam? Thank you

Hello! It was not a requirement for our visa type (Global Business Mobility) since we’re technically expats but one of us took the test (here in London) when we switched our visa to Skilled Worker few months ago 🙂

@@heywheresbb Good day po! Another question, how many weeks po kayo naghintay ng approval for Global Business Mobility visa? Thank you

Hello! The BRP decision letter (vignette) was dated the following day after our application but the notification from VFS to pick-up our passports was received on the 4th business day pa. We were on priority visa processing though kaya mabilis 🙂

Hello! It was paid directly by the company so I did not have the visibility on the billing 🙂
