I also picked up on Hannah’s funny little quip and got a chuckle out of it. She should really patent these or accumulate them for a small book or funny pamphlet. She is so clever and intelligent. Couldn’t stop smiling at how she cavalierly dismissed her concern over the lip glaze not having a seal. “Let’s see if I die or I’ll be okay. Shush Love I’m going I’m going 😅.”

You should try the hay fever wipes , there amazing, stick them in the fridge , also to get the stains of your clothes , get a dishwasher tablet , add it to a cup pour a bit of boiling water to the cup and make a paste , use the paste to wipe on stain and leave it for a few hours then wash , the science is that it will dissolve the fats and grease in the stains eg sun cream, just like they do in a dishwasher with greasey pans etc , it works

🤓 Baking Soda is the aerator in stain remover, make a paste of baking soda, let dry brush off with old dry toothbrush. Also laundry detergent will set the stain 🤓

Here in the U.S. we have a few dollar type stores. They are called; Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Family Dollar. Dollar Tree's prices went up to 1.25. They started carrying items for 3, 5 dollars too. The other stores carry items at 1.00 then go up. There are still alot of deals in all of them. I love that you mentioned Jeffree Star. He loved coming to England and buying drug store makeup there.
He has gone into the dollar stores here as well, and has done full reviews on them.
I have to say, I was impressed. He shows, even with all his money, that you can use less expensive makeup and it be and look good.
You found alot of great items... the toothpaste and deodorant gets expensive over here as well.

About your sunscreen staining your clothes. After you’ve worn something and you see it is stained you can try soaking it in a mixture of baking soda and white vinegar . Or a bit of Dawn dish washing liquid, Dawn works on just about any stain.

Great video, Hannah. I notice they sell Kershaw's frozen meals. I can highly recommend them! And no, I don't work for them! As for food prices in London, I've always managed to find places to buy food and drink when working in London that is the same price as where I live in the Midlands. On the Strand, for instance, the prices in Sainsbury's and the Co-Op are mostly the same. It just depends where you shop x

We live in the middle of nowhere, and any big town/city shop is either 50 minutes drive one way, or an hour and half the other. So poundland along with other shops becomes a treat. I do note the two we have potential access to, have less variety as your London one, which probably makes sense, maybe it's a different market. Country folks get less options. Often the shelves are not stocked so well as that one. Although i noted they had the prime drink you spoke of near the check out in Hereford when we was there on Monday. I often note people be little poundland and the bargain shops, but note they often nip into them for essentials and little items. It's nice to compare to the real fancy ones like Harrods. Thanks again for a lovely show, as a side thought i use Clarins sunblock, SPF50+ dry touch sun cream and these doesn't seem to mess up my clothes. Cheers.

Greetings from Seattle, Washington state. Hello Hannah, I've been enjoying your video coverages on the posh places in London & nearby places. We also have "Dollar Stores" here where I live, which I go to at times. Recently, I've ran into another U.K. vlogger "Rate My Take Away", the guy goes to different sandwich shops there. He is quite unusual and his quirky approach to vlogging is quite entertaining. Anyway, I just want to say hello & I really enjoy your video coverages. Personally, you've given me video experiences in the feel of the posh stores in London (i.e. Harrods, Fortnum & Mason) also, dining at the Ritz Carlton. These are the experiences that I've never had before during my 2 European trips of the Baltics & Mediterranean. It is beneficial to a would be tourist of your lovely city on what to expect. You're doing a great job in showing off London, and nearby cities. Sincerely, Juan

Omg yes, deodorant here in the US is SO expensive! The cheapest ones are like $5 or more. I try to buy the more “natural”, aluminum-free ones and spent $13 the other day on deodorant at Target. 😭

Those round, indoor lights in the sort of sea-green, sage and light yellow colors you were holding for £3, I think, are being sold in a shop near me for about €30! You make the Pound Store look so luxurious! The Euro Store closest to me is a kip - but I'm out in the country! 😂

In the US our dollar stores sell many things for a dollar that are sold for less at other stores. So, we don’t always get a bargain at the Dollar Store.

Much the same in the UK, many items that were £1 in poundland are 89p or so elsewhere. The big supermarkets are £1.25 though because they are profiteering.

Hey Hannah, Happy Tuesday! I absolutely loved your vlog and presentation; you have such positive energy and are so down to earth. Your vlog was super useful, especially the information about shopping in the UK. I was comparing the prices in the UK with those in the States. By the way, the food at Popeyes isn't that great in the US! A lot of Americans avoid that kind of food. Anyway, have a lovely Tuesday night, and I hope you have a fantastic rest of the week. See you on Friday! 💐🇬🇧❤🇺🇸💐

Onion toss 😂😂 Tell me about onion toss, maybe my students will want to play.
A lot of the sunscreens have changed their formulas to be reef safe or mineral based and that could be the cause. I’m no expert but I do live in FL and your issue has happened to me and most of staining never came out. Also, I get the struggle with sweets, right there with you. Could go on about other things in the video but that would be a full on conversation. Great video even if you waffled at the end 🙂

    Hi Hanna,
I enjoy all your episodes about London and all of the best places to visit, especially the really British shops and traditions. Im living and working in Northamptonshire, England.I’m originally from Down Under,(Aussie). In the 90’s I rented in Wembley, zone 4, loved living in London. The liquid death is sold at Tesco,s , cool branding ! There is a energy drink called Celsius that has 200mg of caffeine , but can’t get this in the Uk, unfortunately .
    Cheers,
    Glenn

I've been watching your vlogs for quite a while now, and often when I'm watching them while working, my husband comes into my office (we both work from home) and says "is that Hannah??" 😅We really enjoy watching your videos, and you convinced my husband to buy the Osmo Pocket 3!! We got it a few weeks ago, right before we went to Europe for a week, and it was GREAT! We are in the US and they don't have just the camera available right now (all on backorder) so we had to get the "vlogger combo pack" thing, but we both think it was money well spent. It came with your same microphone, the tripod, an extra (large) battery, and that extra little thing needed to attach the tripod, plus a case to keep it all in. We pretended we were vloggers while we recorded in Europe hahahahahaha but it was super fun and the videos are really awesome to have! We've never really recorded all of our world trips and now I wish we had gotten the camera years ago! 😆 Anyway, all that to say - thank you for talking about the camera, we appreciate it, and thank you for convincing my husband to buy one! 💖

I have had trouble with sunscreen stains too. I did some research and found that avobenzone ( a common sunscreen filter in the US ) reacts with hard water when you wash your clothes to create rust stains. Try a product that is specifically for removing rust. Not sure if you have avobenzone in UK sunscreens but it is worth checking!

I'm late to the party but use fairy liquid on the sun screen stains. Rub in gently with your finger tips and then wash as normal. It breaks down the oils in the screen and takes it out

If you love lemon 🍋 things, Flying Tiger have tons of summery lemon items including blankets, dishes, glasses, lights, napkins, picnic items etc. I was in the other day and almost bought the lot! It would be awesome to do a vlog on Flying Tiger and the other Scandi shop here - Söstrene Grene? At Tottenham Court rd. there are two a couple doors down from each other - perhaps they are sister stores? Such good value for money!

Great video Hannah! For clothing stains, including from sun care products, soak them in cold water using BABY laundry detergent for about an hour or until you no longer see the stain. A small amount of detergent should do it. Good luck!

Removing sunscreen stains will be tricky, because it will depend on the content of the fabric. You could try some sort of Oxy cleaner diluted until you see what it will do-most brands recommend testing on an inconspicuous spot. Also, maybe baking soda mixed with a mild dish detergent. I would worry that bleach would be too strong and could destroy the fabric. Good luck!

Hi Hannah! Your pound store had a better selection than ours in the states. Our .99 cent store & Dollar Tree are now at least $1.49. And you have to pay a quarter to use the shopping cart at the .99 Cent store. You do get it back when you put the cart back. Thanks again for a wonderful vlog as always 🌹. See you Friday 🌼😁.
