This video talks about sizing an advanced wet vent system. It covers code clause 2.5.2.1.(1)-e,f All references are from the 2015 National Plumbing Code of Canada.
I am a retired master plumber, plumbing inspector and plumbing instructor. Your series of videos are excellent. I have yet to see anything on utube that comes close to yours. I am Canadian plumber. I understand the National Plumbing Code of Canada. You are a natural teacher. Explanations are bang on.
Hi Kelly. Can two separate wet vented sections from opposite ends of a house drain into the main drain and have their vents join in the attic before leaving the building through the roof. Thanks. Steve
I have a 2 inch wet vent for a toilet feeding the LAV. Can I wye off the 2 inch wet vent and feed a bathtub drain that does not have an individual vent?
Just a little confusion with the 2 Maximum FU draining into a Wet Vent. At 4:41 you have a shower with 3 heads with 3 FU. How come thats okay? Thank you so much.
The 2 FU maximum is for Branches and Fixture Drains. The shower is being drained through a Trap Arm, the only rule that applies for it is maximum 2" in size
The regular vent needs to be rotated 45 deg above the middle of the pipe. And the wet vent does not. Would it be OK for the wet vent to be rotated more than 45 deg? Certainly would keep the wet vent with less than %50 capacity.

Would anyone know when a vent over a sink isn’t required to be over flood level rim….?

The wet vent can be more than 45°, it has no effect on its function
