One of my favorite bands . I remember been a teen 30 years ago and hearing this band for the first time ! Couldn’t never stop hearing this album thier music its timeless! And always get me excited 😊 heard them like the first time .
Many many thanks for this. I couldn't figure this out on my own. You are spot on with it. It's one of my very favorite all time riffs !!!! Thanks again.
Great Video/Lesson. Many people think, that Status Quo aren't that talented 'cause their songs are quite simple ("three chord songs"), but Rick was one of the best Rhythm Guitar Players of the country (Great Britain). Francis Rossi also had his unique skills, especially when they played their guitar soli. I saw them live eleven times 🤘🏻🙌🏼
I’ve never listened to SQ before. I have to learn this song to perform for a function this evening. I left it til today purely because of the “three chords” myth. I heard all their songs were simple. There’s loads of stuff going on in this song! There goes my afternoon haha
This is so good l watched the video right through (during this l admit l peeked at a few comments). I just learnt the intro yesterday and love it. Personally think SQ do some quite demanding rhythm work and they definitely know more than 3 chords.
Absolutely brilliant!!! My only tiny fault with it is when you change finger positions when they are singing the words Whatever You Want you are changing early between Whatever and You Want. When Quo play it they change only on the word Want. Making the riff longer on Whatever. Da da da da dum Not Da da da dum dum
Would be amazing if you could tell us what amps/plugins and settings you used. It sounds so good. Been trying to replicate this sound for way too long and cant even come close, cant even get the chorus to sound right.
Fab cover. I like that you have put both guitar tracks on. One of Quo's greatest strengths was the guitar interplay between Parfet and Rossi, therefore i find it hard to play quo songs by myself as it does not sound right.
Hello, i don't understand the term Drop-D-Tuning. Is it D tuning for one sting (D) and the other strings are on standard tuning? Many Thanks and congratulations for Your video.
What idiot was it who said "The Quo" only know three chords? Bought my son a new guitar, amp, stand, tuner, capo and all the trimmings..... So envious that I bought myself it all too! I played lead guitar in "The Defiants" aka "The Fabulous Defiants" way back in the 60s, and have only had an acoustic for the last twenty years, so way out of practice....
Just goes to show how really good Status Quo are. A real masterpiece

Fantastic cover. The effect you’ve got for Rick’s rhythm guitar is the best I’ve heard since the original.
You've just showed me something I never realised.... 2 part guitars that I never realised Quo did. Genius stuff
Many many thanks for this. I couldn't figure this out on my own. You are spot on with it. It's one of my very favorite all time riffs !!!! Thanks again.

Guita bui!👍
Do you use the Roland GP8 effects unit? The same that Quo use? Looking at buying one
NICE
Awesome! Yep lots more going on in quo songs than people believe. Can't beat a bit of quo!
Where are Rick Parfitt's lesson video's?
Fab cover. I like that you have put both guitar tracks on. One of Quo's greatest strengths was the guitar interplay between Parfet and Rossi, therefore i find it hard to play quo songs by myself as it does not sound right.
What are your effects please? Especially the chorus
I play it on my UA-cam channel to its an very cool song
Can a ask what amp settings your using and are you using any pedles?
Great song and sound
Do Rockin all over the world! :)

Hello,
i don't understand the term Drop-D-Tuning. Is it D tuning for one sting (D) and the other strings are on standard tuning?
Many Thanks and congratulations for Your video.
Only the low E-string is tuned down to D, all the other strings are untouched! That's the Drop-D-Tuning!
Dear Sir, thank you very much for your answer. I suppose that the solo is played on pentatonic games except the low E string?
Have a good day.
Come on man, I really wanted to see both guitars do the Quo jig at 3.15!!
what model jazzmaster is that? nice cover btw.
i am frayer Jazzmaster Classicplayer!
+Bjoern Angermann sweet dude.
Great cover man!
What kind of amp settings are you using?
Trying to figure out that quo sound but i can't nail it
mint
🎉
Brilliant! What are you using to record? Which program?
Benjamin Andersen this was produced with Logic (daw) and IK Multimedia Amplitude 3 (plug-in for guitar)!
I would like to try this split screen with 2 guitars :-)
Man you can handle those fecking hell Quo will be onto you looking ye to play!
Gerald Ward Thank you very much!
Fucking love it ...
Imagine hearing this from someone in gta5 online
Yeeessss*******
Echt perfide wie Edeka die Leute fangen will...hinterhältigste Schleichwerbung :D
only one quo.

So, how did it go? Update?

😄 It's a live verson from 1989! ua-cam.com/video/djlObPH7ALg/v-deo.html
Good attempt but not quite right. Rick Parfitt himself shows us how to play this, just search for Rick Parfitt Lick Library.
IIch liebe dich so sehr
