Sometimes I think I am a crappy guitar player but the I realize I can do most of those variations. Good lesson. All the best. The blues art was great as well.
Rock on ⚡Glad you found my channel 😎
I’ve learned that being a good rhythm player is more difficult than taking a solo
Great rhythm players are undervalued for sure!
Very good lesson , very helpful
Glad to hear that Jurgen.
That was a great lesson! And great timing. Am determined to dip more than my toe into rockabilly. Thanks.
Thanks John. Have fun
Thanks John!
Great lessons. It's all about the nuances and you have a keen ear for them. ;o)
I got that pedal at Austin, I was there doing a gig and I could not get the right sound from the back line vox, so I popped over to Austin Vintage guitar and tried a bunch of pedals, as soon as I heard that pedal, I thought ‘that’s the perfect pedal for a vox!’
What a fantastic video have a wonderful day also ❤😊
@@aminahmed2220 👍😃

I love to see a good beginner lesson. tuned to e standard AND Enjoyed the rythm tune up with my morning joe. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it John!
Love the (rare) reference to J.J. Cale (from his excellent Grasshopper LP)! These rhythms/shuffles show up in so many classic rock songs in various forms. Offhand I'm thinking of Crossroads and Taking Care of Business. Definitely good to practice these. Excellent video!
Exactly. Thanks for watching Chester!
great stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it Steve 🎸
So many variations to the fundamental pulse of the blues shuffle.Robert Johnson's, Sweet Home Chicago.
Exactly 👍🏼
don't forget the master of boogie rock rhythm Rick Parfitt.
That’s right
illuminante🤩
Thanks Ricky!

Light bulbs are going on! Great lesson! When I started the journey too long ago I learned the shuffle and finger rolling, but was just told it was “blues”. I’ve played those notes so many times, but never thought of 6th, or flat 7th. That adds such another dimension, depth and understanding of what the heck I’m doing. I’m so glad the algorithm brought you up!
I'm glad too!
Mate this lesson is awesome! Thank you, gunna have to go through some of these variations with my telecaster in the morning. Cheers!!!
Have fun! Glad you found this channel!
😊 by the way, I just got a Gretsch just like yours different pick ups, but I am inspired.!
Wow that's great!

NIGEL in Canada🇨🇦
listen to the sound of this guy's guitar ?
these guys are in demand by producers
the "big boys" got the TONE, the sound
Jimmy Reed is the place to start I think
True! It’s amazing to hear the sound on those records. Very cool.
John Lennon.
I'm sorry, your idea is very good! Rhythm is tge base of R & R guitar, but I think the way you hold your pick you would never be able to keep up that rhythm fo more than half a song. Let alone for a whole live show.
It is hard work but after years of doing it you build up the stamina. A key is keeping your shoulder and arm relaxed.
Pretty sure they said similar about Joe Bonamassa.
And I saw him live at the royal albert hall this year, and he didn't miss a damn beat for 2 hours plus.
Nearly every great guitarist breaks the rules one way or the other.
Sorry but you're wrong!
use less nothing new here ... maybe beginners
really enjoyed this thank you!
You're so welcome!
