Fox Kids/National Geographic Channel (UK) - Handover, Autumn 1999

Again sorry about the poor picture quality but I didn't put this onto DVD. Anyway by this point both stations were airing all day on Sky Digital but their analogue counterparts still broadcast the same times, which meant unlike other handovers Fox Kids switches mid-commercial.

On Sky's digital satellite service at that time, Fox Kids was broadcasting from 6am-10pm while National Geographic Channel was broadcasting 24 hours a day. On Sky's analogue satellite service, however, the two channels shared a transponder, with Fox Kids airing from 6am-7pm and National Geographic airing from 7pm-1am. Therefore, Fox Kids would sometimes cut to National Geographic in the middle of an advert.
