ITV Sport Channel - Start-up, May 2002

Again apologies for the poor quality. Anyway this is from the week when ITV Digital went off air, but the Sport channel stayed around for a couple of weeks longer, during this time it was made free to view on DTT and NTL, hence why this is my only clip of the station.

They had Formula 1 coverage, but they focused on lower league football

They did, but F1 remained exclusive to ITV1 and ITV2. The only top tier Sport on the channel was the UEFA Champions League, and even then ITV1 still had first pick of the best matches anyway.

Is it me or why does the ident layout looks like the present BBC ident layout.
