if you inspect the broken blade in this video, it has a dialogue but when u inspect it with himeko, it has a special dialogue saying "you her someone sobbing, someone yelling, and someone mourning wordlessly. Finally someone whispers... she was reborn in the fire. She was smiling in the fire". I think the one sobbing, yelling and mourning wordlessly could potentially be welt when he first saw himeko in this world or smt? Also there is no way that this sword isn't himeko from hi3 bc why would there be a special dialogue for her specifically. This would mean that himeko's sword somehow entered the universe of honkai star rail just like how welt entered...

FUN FACT: If you see seele's ult, you can actually see her eyes turn, from blue to red. "maybe thats part of the reason why her face is zoomed in, in her ult" Not just to show her going fast, but also a hint of reference to seele in Honkai impact.

It's weird having Bronya's, Seele's, Li Sushang's, Himeko's and Natasha's (Raven), Otto's, Yanqing's (appears as a disciple of Fu Hua) and Cocolia's counterparts in the Honkai Star Rail universe when Welt (and maybe Silverwolf Bronie) is literally the same character from HI3 😂
There's other one that we may think she's not originally from HSR universe too, Silver Wolf, If we read her description, we will think that Silver Wolf and Bronie are same person. I think at some point after travel to some universe, she join Stellaron Hunter bcuz she can travel universe while also hunt stellaron. But it just theory since not enough proof than Welt Yang.
I am incredibly jealous of people who have been familiar with "Honkai Impact 3rd" for a long time. For them, "Star Rail" is perceived really differently than for me, a beginner who sees all these characters for the first time. For the sake of interest, I even checked why everyone reacts so strongly to Himeko... now tears come to my own eyes when I see her in the carriage... "Star Rail" is a new beginning, long-existing characters, and I can't describe it with anything other than "Amazing".
My god, Otto...I never know why but seeing him again just hits so hard in the feels man. I miss him, despite everything. His sendoff...still feel the pain, the chills, just the overall bittersweet ending it was
meanwhile its 2048, and genshin is on ver 102.6 with the 10212th region festival storyline with just vague hints that the story "will get darker" defiintely, at some point, it will happen guys, the character you love will definitely die...

Characters aside, the Curios storage room is the one massive differentiator. Genshin players find the wings and are like "oh cool easter egg". Honkai players find the sword fragments and start weeping uncontrollably (especially when you examine it with Himeko for extra lines - couldn't help yourselves huh Hoyo).
I honestly love how much similarity there is between all three games with the characters. It makes it to where whether you're coming from HI3 or Genshin, you're recognizing these characters and what they are may be like. Gives more connection from the start.
@@0kaiKai A lot of the Genshin ones are kind of stretchy. Dan Heng kinda reminds me of a less edgy Xiao between design and personality, Bailu gives me Diona vibes, stuff like that. But I personally love the MC for Star Rail. I spend as much time laughing along with the game as I do playing it.

Bronya's personality is different from Bronya from HI3. and Seele's is opposite to Seele. Only Silver Wolf resembles Bronya somewhat. May be she's also from HI3's Earth like Welt and Void Archives.
There's also a high-chance that the sword bits you see in HSR came from Himeko's sword, since the only fragment they recovered was the hilt that Kiana uses (the rest of the sword fragments you see in the funeral cutscene were replicas). Also, if you interact with the sword bits with Himeko, you get different dialogue.
It could be "just" an easter egg but God do I hope it's canon and has deeper role for the plot later on. We have our closure in Honkai chapter 25 but any chance to know more of what happened to Himeko is a chance I'm taking.

As a Genshin player, HSR punched me countless time in the guts with it's main stories and side quest. I was used to Paimon ruining any emotional scene abd side quest being boring stuff ! I wasn't prepared for Discrimination, Segregation, Class Struggle, Misery, Poverty, Human experimentation, child abuse, Minor manipulation, brainwashing, etc... TwT
Genshin Player here, but most of the time, i'm just like..."Oh no, so sad", or "Awesome...", or sometimes scream with the characters...or laugh at donuts I've had some dark or depressing shows while i was Elementary, and they no longer matter that much to me... I was more "Awesome..." on the "most depressing" moment of HI3, too amazed by Himeko's determination
Genshin player here.... you might have missed the same in Genshin: starving orphans everywhere, slavery, human sperimentation, human trafficking... Genshin is darker than it seems, although so far it didn't deliver punches in plain sight.

It was never the CN fandom lmao I've never heard anyone say that before. It was determined right from the start of the games cus all playable characters are called valkyries, and male valkyries aren't a thing
Wait no. At the beginning Hi3rd was created by a team of otakus who also made Honkai Gakuen, a game where “underwear” was used as leveling materials and all female characters had line that literally “seduces” the player. So the target players, also the very first players of Mihoyo games, were always otakus who prefer to see more erotic female characters - until the point when mihoyo’s business went big and some new players asks for male playable characters in Hi3rd. A request that of course got rejected by the majority of otaku-rooted community. At least not in Hi3rd where all playable characters are supposed to be “valkyries”. So there are now playable male characters in Genshin Impact and HSR. Well you may heard some in CN community still don’t like male characters in these games - it’s not the whole case. There are certain male characters whose fan bases are extremely toxic to a point which they 1) verbally attacks other players who claims to have a favourite female character; 2) illegally obtaining other players’ real-life info including home address and residence ID to threaten them; 3) repetitively report the game to the gov to remove any “improper clothing” of female characters (previous CN server outfit change as a result); 4) being unprofessional as some of them actually get to work in mihoyo but screw up the plot only to make their favourite male character look more outstanding or to promote a BL unofficial couple; 5) having conflicts even within themselves. And CN community has been very sick of them - along with their favourite characters.
Man I'm a Genshin player and seeing the Honkai animations and music, I realize Hoyo's really playing favourites lol... Can only dream of a day the Genshin story will reach this level of badass action...
I'm not sure if you want to get Genshin to be like Honkai Impact... In Honkai's second anniversary they killed Himeko, a playable and lovable character and Hua (another playable character) got shot in the head💀 That's why they started doing amazing animations (to minimize the pain we felt) because after that chapter started the depression (every chapter was depressing after that)😔

Gachas thrive on their characters and how invested in the world we are, but most are too scared to alienate their fanbases and end up doing nothing with all those characters, no character arc, no resolution, no change in their status quo. If the Honkai story properly sets up characters, give them actual arcs and make their choices matter in the scenario, I'd take it anyday over the 10th Genshin story quest where literally nothing happens except now we know the new character's favorite food.
Genshin is basically just another bubble Universe. and the bubble universe concept was 1st shown in the honkai manga and the game. So it's pretty understandable how people who started with Genshin 1st don't really get many of the references even on Genshin in itself where some of the Archons are basically the bubble universe counterparts of HI3 characters. For example, the goddess that you encounter in the intro of the game is basically like a counterpart to Herrscher of the Void, or Raiden Shogun, with Honkai's Raiden Mei. It's not about favorites, I think it's about where it all started, and to a lot of Honkai Impact main players, Honkai Star Rail is like a trip down to memory lane and Mihoyo did a good job at it. I suggest playing HI3 and go through the story. There's so much flavor and emotion in it compared to Genshin. So much art, the music, the feels, that people literally cry almost every chapter. It's not too late to begin. Also it has many fun and cute events. Even has their own dorm where you can assign the girls different rooms in their chibi mode, and you can decorate freely

As a veteran Captain, my sole reason for even playing Star Rail is for the chance to see my wife Himeko alive again. Yes, this is a massive cope, but since Hoyo refuses to include her in any side events and I don't see any more content of her being added in the future, this will have to do. it pains me greatly, but also fills me with joy, I have been waiting for the game release ever since chapter 25. now, the real question is: *will we Himeko fans survive a third strike?*
you have to remember that this is a honkai game... all honkai games so far has been... (PTSD flashbacks) ... depressing. If there's one thing Honkai has taught me, it's that family is always the ones that becomes separated and breaks apart, just like how Cecelia died in Hi3rd, and how Kiana has went through constant pain and suffering throughout the entire game. Since March 7 is the face of the game, just like how Kiana is the face of Hi3rd.... it's normal to expect similar or close to similar outcome. And besides genshin is not too far off in that department either, even if it seems like a happy-go-lucky game, the story of genshin so far has actually been giving hints of a upcoming heartbreaking revelation, for exmaple what if our twin is already dead and their body is merely a host to something much more darker? We already technically know that the sky of tevyat is fake and that there are hints that the world of tevyat is in a constant "endless cycle of a samsara" in other words, a "world" that is constantly being rerolled once it's reaches a certain point, proceeding to erase the memories of all individuals within said "world", which is why nobody remembers it or notices that there's something fishy going on, as to them "nothing has happened" and "everything is normal". This is because the "world" of tevyat is resetting everything and restarting the cycle anew. In a summary, genshin might be much darker than we realize. That's why I'm not gonna bring my hopes up for a happy story or ending for honkai star rail either. At this point, I've come to expect the worst.
Honkai starrail is basically a train that goes beyond time and history, reminding hoyofans of all the good and bad times in hoyoverse. They really gave us a hell of a ride. Both the developers and players have come a long long way. Their stories are all tied closely to our hearts. Especially himeko's death in honkai impact. Really looking forward to what the developers have installed for us.
Now that I think about it, March 7th and Elysia have a lot in common. Pink hair, upbeat personality, mysterious past, ice damage, doesn’t lie a lot but has at least once, bow Even March 7th’s 6 phased ice has a lot of similarities in looks to Herrscher of Human:Ego’s ice. I feel like March’s past will probably end up being something huge, just based on that.
As a Honkai Impact player I'm being honest about crying when I saw Himeko still alive in Honkai Star Rail. The moment when I played The Final Lesson chapter until Kiana Herrscher Of Flame chapter, I cried a lot plus their soundtracks was epic made me can't hold my tears and goosebumps all the way. Thank you Mihoyo for these masterpieces ❤

It’s cute Luocha’s accompanying Sushang, they are a good duo just as good as Otto/Kallen. Hope they have a safe and fun journey this time around. Can’t wait when Welt meets Dan Heng/Luocha and his PTSD activates. Would be funny if one moment he’s like. Welt: “Luocha, if you don’t mind me prying, what is in that box of yours?” Luocha: “Oh this? this.. this is the resting place of my dearest frien-“ Welt: “Stop right there, I understand.” *Welt said abruptly and led Himeko away.* It would genuinely be a shame if Mihoyo does the meeting off-screen or never mention it at all. ps: There were numerous hints dropped about Sushang’s close relationship with Otto, I wouldn’t say they were romantic interests but more like best friends, she was amongst the ones who genuinely cared for the guy despite all he’s done. Ch26 even starts out with her regret about not being able to help him. Such a cheerful and bubbly character being weighed down by a tragic companion makes her story tragic aswell. It’s also interesting how closely she mirrors Kallen minus the obsession with Justice part which is part of why I think they make such a good duo on par with Otto/Kallen.

March has the perfect setup for a depressing story, a character that knows nothing of their past, and basically having endless possibilities **please don’t take my bubble girl away from me mihoyo I swear **
That would basically be doing Kiana again, throw in the original end of the Flamchasers for flavor. I'm hoping they don't try to do the same thing they did with the HI3 story 'cause I can only take so many emotional gut punches before the effect of those scenes wears out.
I wouldn't be surprised if she was related to This world's version of Elysia and/or Kiana. I agree. Her positive personality can be so easily contrasted by a tragic story down the road. ... I mean, look at what happened to Kiana...
Welt has a voicelines for Himeko that shows how fond he is of her. Also shows that one of his biggest regrets is how he was partially responsible for what happened to his Himeko. Hope they get more spotlight in story down the line
Playing both honkai impact and genshin impact, i go “nice reference” While balling my eyes out. I literally almost sobbed when i saw himeko, dont die again damn it. I dont think i can handle a second death scene.
As a Honkai Player, Star Rail hits deep. Though, all the character comparisons can really be overboard sometimes. I may adore Honkai more, but Genshin got a few characters I vibe with too, I like seeing them as their own. Instead of compare any character that maybe has like one similiar feature. miHoYo has sooo many characters and they're still making more. It's only natural.
I play both... and legit I accidentally found that room and when I saw the Genshin wings I went 'woooaa I know wht this is 😂' to seeing Himeko's sword 'I know what this is... 😭'

I'm on the third map rn. Getting the material for level 50 characters starts to be annoying a bit. Did all the chests and Easter eggs on the space station and javiro. Now I gotta do the same on Honkai Liyue. (Got Gepard and Seele too, I got lucky. Except when trying to pull Seele's light cone I instead got welt and himako's 5 star light cone even though Seele's light cone is supposed to have a boosted chance.)
1:03 i felt chills when that theme played, man im both a genshin (started on april 2021) and a honkai player (started on june 2021 but went into a lot of hiatus because i didnt understand the game, and i started focusing last june 2022, so ive been playing gneshin longer) but being the honkai player in this hits much more different. i didnt even realize the similarity of bailu with qiqi and dan heng with xiao. at first, i just thought march and dan heng were like the equivalent of kaeya and amber in hsr. it shows how honkai has more impact than genshin for me lmao

As someone who played both honestly I was hit more by the HI3 throwbacks, which should have been obvious since it’s in a Honkai multiverse. I saw the sword in the first hour and immediate EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
I... am very conflicted... I absolutely adore Elysia, as pure as she was, the Herrscher of Humanity, she wished nothing but beauty for Humanity... I need to find a way to use March properly, because it really does feel like she might be a reincarnation of Elysia(especially with her story about the 6phased ice, just, gives me a bit of a feeling that she might be way more than we expect)... yet it's amazing to see Natasha in good shape for once too... she may have become a cynical killer in HI3(even though she still has kindness that she shows to some...), she got a new lease on life in this universe... and of course, Aunty Himeko... the collective emotional trauma of the HI3 playerbase... (didn't get her nor Bronya nor Welt, which are the 3 I want most for obvious reasons, because Gepard and the ice shota wanted to have a word instead...), and Bronya, oh Bronya, she's always seemed like she would do well as a leader... Seele's all grown up too, as caring yet dangerous as ever... Welt is still just... I mean... It's Welt. Space Uncle. Happy to see him. I hope Tesla makes it into this game, or even Joey... and Bronie, I mean, didn't expect her of all people, but definitely welcome... and sorry to say, but I wanna kick Otto in the sack, a lot of times... like a lot. And then be sad that I hate him because his irrationality and absolute dedication to the one he loves, willing to destroy *anything* to reunite with her, reminds me of myself... and then pull out my wallet to get him... who the hell do I main?! That's not even taking account the new folks! Clara is the most wholesome little nugget, Svarog is Wotan but someone gave him drip and it set him from 90% completion to 100%(also did anyone notice that the giant machine of creation kiiiinda looks like AE style mechs? Idk, just thought I spotted a good few similarities), Kafka makes me want to say "mommy?" 1000 times as well... and Herta being a spinning top is both hilarious and incredibly strong, and I love her little doll joints, such a cool touch to her being a "Herta remote control puppet"

Playing Star Rail has brought back so many memories of HI3, and it’s amazing that we get to see new versions of old characters like Bronya and Seele. Personally though I can’t wait to get a playable Otto
Natasha was my favorite in impact 3, I'm a little bit sad that they change her role in star rail, BUT after finishing her side story in star rail, i fell in love with her for the 2nd time
To be honest Natasha in HSR looks like she made taking care of kids and orphanage ect her main job meanwhile Raven in HI3rd does the same, in nagazora, she sheltered the abandoned kids which is quite similar
Honkai truly is just such a hidden gem. I'm so proud to have been a part of it for the past 5 years. Genshin is fantastic, but Honkai has my heartstrings. As you can all see, it's epic. It's always a rollercoaster. You laugh, you'll definitely cry, and you'll definitely want more. There's just so much story to these characters that non captains truly just won't appreciate. I'm a Honkai captain, and I lost my 50/50 to Bronya before I acquired Seele. I'm waiting for them to give us a connection to HI3 and Star Rail. There's so many bubble universes that Star Rail seems to just be a whole alternative experience with characters we already love, minus any Honkai, which alone makes for a whole new experience. Genshin is now the money maker, but Honkai will always be the first love of Mihoyo/Hoyoverse. It's always clear when the arcs end and you see the shorts that you saw just now. It's endearing. You will feel things for these queens because they put them through hell the WHOLE time. An evil man whose only goal is to bring back one woman. Warriors alive for 50,000 years dealing with the psychological breaks of millenia of betrayal and pain. Heros, who aren't heroes but show up. This is why we stay captains.
Yea same I've only played Honkai for 3-ish years and took a few breaks and a pretty big one in-between but I just love the story and the chars as well and Himeko's death put me into a depression spiral

The fact that Welt went through the loss of Himeko in HI3 and then spends every day with her in this universe has to be bittersweet. On one hand, he’s reminded of his loss and on the other, he has another chance to be with her
if you inspect the broken blade in this video, it has a dialogue but when u inspect it with himeko, it has a special dialogue saying "you her someone sobbing, someone yelling, and someone mourning wordlessly. Finally someone whispers... she was reborn in the fire. She was smiling in the fire". I think the one sobbing, yelling and mourning wordlessly could potentially be welt when he first saw himeko in this world or smt?

Characters aside, the Curios storage room is the one massive differentiator. Genshin players find the wings and are like "oh cool easter egg". Honkai players find the sword fragments and start weeping uncontrollably (especially when you examine it with Himeko for extra lines - couldn't help yourselves huh Hoyo).
I honestly love how much similarity there is between all three games with the characters. It makes it to where whether you're coming from HI3 or Genshin, you're recognizing these characters and what they are may be like. Gives more connection from the start.

Bronya's personality is different from Bronya from HI3. and Seele's is opposite to Seele. Only Silver Wolf resembles Bronya somewhat. May be she's also from HI3's Earth like Welt and Void Archives.
There's also a high-chance that the sword bits you see in HSR came from Himeko's sword, since the only fragment they recovered was the hilt that Kiana uses (the rest of the sword fragments you see in the funeral cutscene were replicas). Also, if you interact with the sword bits with Himeko, you get different dialogue.
Considering that those sword pieces fell into the imaginary space, it's literally them
It could be "just" an easter egg but God do I hope it's canon and has deeper role for the plot later on. We have our closure in Honkai chapter 25 but any chance to know more of what happened to Himeko is a chance I'm taking.

As a Genshin player, HSR punched me countless time in the guts with it's main stories and side quest.
I was used to Paimon ruining any emotional scene abd side quest being boring stuff !

Genshin player here.... you might have missed the same in Genshin: starving orphans everywhere, slavery, human sperimentation, human trafficking... Genshin is darker than it seems, although so far it didn't deliver punches in plain sight.

It was never the CN fandom lmao I've never heard anyone say that before. It was determined right from the start of the games cus all playable characters are called valkyries, and male valkyries aren't a thing

At the beginning Hi3rd was created by a team of otakus who also made Honkai Gakuen, a game where “underwear” was used as leveling materials and all female characters had line that literally “seduces” the player. So the target players, also the very first players of Mihoyo games, were always otakus who prefer to see more erotic female characters - until the point when mihoyo’s business went big and some new players asks for male playable characters in Hi3rd. A request that of course got rejected by the majority of otaku-rooted community. At least not in Hi3rd where all playable characters are supposed to be “valkyries”.
So there are now playable male characters in Genshin Impact and HSR. Well you may heard some in CN community still don’t like male characters in these games - it’s not the whole case. There are certain male characters whose fan bases are extremely toxic to a point which they 1) verbally attacks other players who claims to have a favourite female character; 2) illegally obtaining other players’ real-life info including home address and residence ID to threaten them; 3) repetitively report the game to the gov to remove any “improper clothing” of female characters (previous CN server outfit change as a result); 4) being unprofessional as some of them actually get to work in mihoyo but screw up the plot only to make their favourite male character look more outstanding or to promote a BL unofficial couple; 5) having conflicts even within themselves. And CN community has been very sick of them - along with their favourite characters.
Man I'm a Genshin player and seeing the Honkai animations and music, I realize Hoyo's really playing favourites lol... Can only dream of a day the Genshin story will reach this level of badass action...

Gachas thrive on their characters and how invested in the world we are, but most are too scared to alienate their fanbases and end up doing nothing with all those characters, no character arc, no resolution, no change in their status quo. If the Honkai story properly sets up characters, give them actual arcs and make their choices matter in the scenario, I'd take it anyday over the 10th Genshin story quest where literally nothing happens except now we know the new character's favorite food.
Ikr! After playing HSR it just hit me that genshin felt like their middle child lmao
Genshin is basically just another bubble Universe. and the bubble universe concept was 1st shown in the honkai manga and the game. So it's pretty understandable how people who started with Genshin 1st don't really get many of the references even on Genshin in itself where some of the Archons are basically the bubble universe counterparts of HI3 characters. For example, the goddess that you encounter in the intro of the game is basically like a counterpart to Herrscher of the Void, or Raiden Shogun, with Honkai's Raiden Mei. It's not about favorites, I think it's about where it all started, and to a lot of Honkai Impact main players, Honkai Star Rail is like a trip down to memory lane and Mihoyo did a good job at it. I suggest playing HI3 and go through the story. There's so much flavor and emotion in it compared to Genshin. So much art, the music, the feels, that people literally cry almost every chapter. It's not too late to begin. Also it has many fun and cute events. Even has their own dorm where you can assign the girls different rooms in their chibi mode, and you can decorate freely

you have to remember that this is a honkai game... all honkai games so far has been... (PTSD flashbacks) ... depressing. If there's one thing Honkai has taught me, it's that family is always the ones that becomes separated and breaks apart, just like how Cecelia died in Hi3rd, and how Kiana has went through constant pain and suffering throughout the entire game.
Since March 7 is the face of the game, just like how Kiana is the face of Hi3rd.... it's normal to expect similar or close to similar outcome.
And besides genshin is not too far off in that department either, even if it seems like a happy-go-lucky game, the story of genshin so far has actually been giving hints of a upcoming heartbreaking revelation, for exmaple what if our twin is already dead and their body is merely a host to something much more darker? We already technically know that the sky of tevyat is fake and that there are hints that the world of tevyat is in a constant "endless cycle of a samsara" in other words, a "world" that is constantly being rerolled once it's reaches a certain point, proceeding to erase the memories of all individuals within said "world", which is why nobody remembers it or notices that there's something fishy going on, as to them "nothing has happened" and "everything is normal". This is because the "world" of tevyat is resetting everything and restarting the cycle anew. In a summary, genshin might be much darker than we realize.
That's why I'm not gonna bring my hopes up for a happy story or ending for honkai star rail either.
At this point, I've come to expect the worst.
Honkai starrail is basically a train that goes beyond time and history, reminding hoyofans of all the good and bad times in hoyoverse. They really gave us a hell of a ride. Both the developers and players have come a long long way. Their stories are all tied closely to our hearts. Especially himeko's death in honkai impact. Really looking forward to what the developers have installed for us.

The moment when I played The Final Lesson chapter until Kiana Herrscher Of Flame chapter, I cried a lot plus their soundtracks was epic made me can't hold my tears and goosebumps all the way. Ch26 even starts out with her regret about not being able to help him. Such a cheerful and bubbly character being weighed down by a tragic companion makes her story tragic aswell. It’s also interesting how closely she mirrors Kallen minus the obsession with Justice part which is part of why I think they make such a good duo on par with Otto/Kallen.

Welt has a voicelines for Himeko that shows how fond he is of her. Also shows that one of his biggest regrets is how he was partially responsible for what happened to his Himeko. Hope they get more spotlight in story down the line

As a Honkai Player, Star Rail hits deep. Though, all the character comparisons can really be overboard sometimes. I may adore Honkai more, but Genshin got a few characters I vibe with too, I like seeing them as their own. Instead of compare any character that maybe has like one similiar feature. miHoYo has sooo many characters and they're still making more. It's only natural.

(Got Gepard and Seele too, I got lucky. Except when trying to pull Seele's light cone I instead got welt and himako's 5 star light cone even though Seele's light cone is supposed to have a boosted chance.)

im both a genshin (started on april 2021) and a honkai player (started on june 2021 but went into a lot of hiatus because i didnt understand the game, and i started focusing last june 2022, so ive been playing gneshin longer) but being the honkai player in this hits much more different. i didnt even realize the similarity of bailu with qiqi and dan heng with xiao. at first, i just thought march and dan heng were like the equivalent of kaeya and amber in hsr.

I... am very conflicted... I absolutely adore Elysia, as pure as she was, the Herrscher of Humanity, she wished nothing but beauty for Humanity... I need to find a way to use March properly, because it really does feel like she might be a reincarnation of Elysia(especially with her story about the 6phased ice, just, gives me a bit of a feeling that she might be way more than we expect)... yet it's amazing to see Natasha in good shape for once too... she may have become a cynical killer in HI3(even though she still has kindness that she shows to some...), she got a new lease on life in this universe... and of course, Aunty Himeko... the collective emotional trauma of the HI3 playerbase... a fun little Easter egg my sister found is that interacting with Himeko's broken great sword while using Himeko gets a special dialogue! she didn't know what it was so she asked me about it. let's just say it was like pouring a spoon of salt over an open wound.

Natasha was my favorite in impact 3, I'm a little bit sad that they change her role in star rail, BUT after finishing her side story in star rail, i fell in love with her for the 2nd time
To be honest Natasha in HSR looks like she made taking care of kids and orphanage ect her main job meanwhile Raven in HI3rd does the same, in nagazora, she sheltered the abandoned kids which is quite similar
Himeko in Star Rail just triggers ALL the PTSD for HI3 players

Honkai truly is just such a hidden gem. I'm so proud to have been a part of it for the past 5 years. Genshin is fantastic, but Honkai has my heartstrings. As you can all see, it's epic. It's always a rollercoaster. You laugh, you'll definitely cry, and you'll definitely want more. There's just so much story to these characters that non captains truly just won't appreciate. I'm a Honkai captain, and I lost my 50/50 to Bronya before I acquired Seele. I'm waiting for them to give us a connection to HI3 and Star Rail. There's so many bubble universes that Star Rail seems to just be a whole alternative experience with characters we already love, minus any Honkai, which alone makes for a whole new experience. Genshin is now the money maker, but Honkai will always be the first love of Mihoyo/Hoyoverse. It's always clear when the arcs end and you see the shorts that you saw just now. It's endearing. You will feel things for these queens because they put them through hell the WHOLE time. An evil man whose only goal is to bring back one woman. Warriors alive for 50,000 years dealing with the psychological breaks of millenia of betrayal and pain. Heros, who aren't heroes but show up. This is why we stay captains.
