The problem that this spirit is actually not her "inner beast", it's her spirit of the hunt, that every general of xianzhou get from their aeon, and it is called "Flying Aureus". It's similar to Jing yuan lightning spirit. And, if i'm not mistaken, Hoyo mentioned that only in one line from promo materials. So all this sutff about red-glowing Flying Aureus being her inner beast is just part of Feixiao imagination. But devs dellivered pretty bad, so a lot of players who didn't saw promos and just play through story, thought that this "thing" is a wolf because it's represents her borisin side
