That exhaust over the valve cover is wild but I know on that side you've a big steering box to contend with. Creative choice. I'm not mad at all with the fender exit. I like that it isn't a polished rig. It stands on its own. Besides, parts for old Mercs are spendy IF you can find them.
problem is, with those rims, the rust and neglect dont say sleeper, it says something else Im afraid .. otherwise ya, nice project

There is more than enough room to put an inter cooler in front of the radiator and move the radiator back towards the engine with custom mounts.
Totally worth it. The shorter IC piping reduces spool up time significantly.
