Those old punched steel dork discs are so much better than the plastic ones we get these days. I actually think there could be a market for modern CNCed discs with cool or custom designs.
I’ve been watching all your videos lately and surprised no one caught the cameo by Yoda and Darth Vader !
awesome video. I had a schwinn predator but it got stolen. Want to convert my mountain bike to look like this!
So schön ... ♥
Hi, I have a very similar bicycle, with the same type of brake but the rims are made of chromed metal. The bicycle was purchased in the early 90s.
Now I plan to change the rings for aluminum ones.
Greetings from Peru.
Very cool- keep it up man 🏆
perfect
Over 9600 views and less than 500 likes......I loved your vid dude. Thanks
My dad had this bike. This vid is making me so nostalgic.
Not an adrenaline rush, but a happy hormone release.
Love the zen of this build. Wish I could be so chill.
I love it! Sadly I can say from personal experience you got to know your limitations on the Old pub and bike situation 😂 a six-pack or four shot limit!
EPIC
killer build, incredibly stylish
Nice build. Even nicer beer drinking spot!
Always find leaving the tyre on whilst removing freewheel / cassette way easier. Great upload btw
very nice!
Mantap pak SEPEDAH nya...👍👍👍
beautiful build, great vibe
I have the exact bike ...this gives me motivation to get something done with it
I would do some lowrider ape handlebars
Well Officer, as you can see all six bottles are full so no, I haven't been drinking!
🤣🤣
Enjoyed your build. I'm new to your site & I enjoy doing bike rehabs & am always interested in seeing others @ work doing what I enjoy also. I've found when removing rear wheel freewheel if I leave the tire mounted , chuck up the removal tool in a vice w/ grooves up , engage wheel & rotate counterclockwise to remove. My upper body strength @ my age need leverage. 🚲steve
I love the bike, makes me want to add fishing pole and tackle box holder on my khs mtbmx cruiser. Thanks for the inspiration
Well done…pretty nice colour matching👍🏻😎just the way I would do it🙂
Luxury Sidewinder more like it.
Love the Two Hearted Ale. A locally made favorite here in the Zoo
Mine too! I'm just across the state from you.
Awsome
Bummer about the plastic dust cap, to avoid breakage, I use a fender washer or a coin ( usually a quarter) to turn the cap, they fit neatly in the slot. Nice build!
Great tip! I'll be using that idea alot in the future! Thanks!
Even the end of your pedal spanner may fit snug 👍
I think that's an '87. It was offered in two colors that year...a red-ish (what I have) and the gunmetal gray (like this one). You call it "green" but isn't it more of a metallic dark gray/gunmetal? I'm in the process of restoring mine and I was debating about going red again or this gunmetal color.
I guess it is more of a gun metal grey than green, but it seems to have a green tint to it. It's a nice color, for sure.
maybe a stupid question….but do you use the same grease for all the parts? thanks for your vids….enjoying them!
Yes, I do use the same grease. Many will argue that there is a specific grease for different applications, but I don't do that. I have not seen any negative results from doing this. Thanks for watching!!
Another Great build. You had me laughing at the dork disc diffuser. Did you sell the Peugeot?
Still have the Peugeot. I've gone on a few rails to trails rides, and it just floats along!
What crank removal tool is that? And which freewheel tools did you use? Thanks! I'm working on the same bike right now. My plastic cap also broke like yours :-(
very cool and love the color combo with the brown leather. Where are you from?
Thanks. I'm in Michigan.
What is the rise on those handlebars?
There's a link to the bars I used in the video description. Sadly, I don't have the bike anymore. It has a new owner.
why the booze?
Well....its a pub bike!
Perhaps install training wheels to keep your balance 😅
🤣
