Pringles I forgot about, but I believe I bring up somwhere in the reaction the way Stolas has addressed Blitz as "little imp" and "plaything" before. It's why I feel both Blitz and Stolas have things to work on.

If we ONLY take into account Verosika's point of view, there is something else to take into account besides how Blitzø left him by abandoning him in a motel, stealing his car and using his credit card to buy horse lessons, you must remember that Verosika is a succubus. She is the one who is used to using others for herself but there, the only time she lowered her sentimental armor to admit to Blitzø that she loved him, he did more than reject her, he destroyed her heart .
And otherwise, I completely agree, Verosika really needs to get professional help to finally be able to move on.

I did not react to it, but I have watched it. It's the reason why I figured that the old man was Brandon's Angry Grandpa character. XD
Blitz is scared of people getting to know him, because he feels because of the accident he caused which resulted in the death of his mother. . .that he doesn't deserve to be loved. That and the fact his father pretty much drilled it into his head that he's a worthless nothing who doesn't deserve to be happy.

Given Hell's peculiar semi-feudal state and its need to keep up with the foreign sinner's capital, it must have a very messy class dynamic (akin to the Russian Empire in the late 19th - early 20th centuries).
The Imps and Hellhounds, as the main labour force, feel this the most. Many of them still belong to the peasantry, but capitalist elements are already quite widespread, giving a steep rise to the (semi-)proletariat (agricultural and factory workers).
Even the lower class demons spontaneously adopt the petit bourgeois mentality, while the actual large capitalists (e.g. Mammon and Asmodeus) aren't interested in challenging the old feudal system.
Meanwhile, the Goetia aren't above taking advantage of the lack of cohesion within the new classes. For example, Stella was able to hire Striker, who apparently reflects these contradictory views in relation to himself and society (i.e. not a very class-conscious person).
All in all, the Ars Goetia represents an antagonistic reactionary force. Of course, Stolas alone can't change this, but he needs to *at least* realise it.
