The old one is superior. Literally. You pay less and get more bricks. The new one's price is just inflated. I have the 2018 one, and I thought it was quite nice. Dense, but nice. Of course, the new one is also good, and if I do get the chance, I may get it, solely to combine them.
Just bought 2 new ones for 80/each. Planning on combining them into one proper hospital. Might sell the duplicate minifigs/ambulance/helicopter to recoup some money or I could just use them for parts/NPCs scattered about the city 🤔😅
I have both of these sets. I posted a comparison on instagram of the buildings. The new one is a bit bigger in footprint compared to 2018, though that could be partly due to the added driveway.
I’m definitely going to be picking up the new one this year’ I love the use of the electric yellow they went with instead of the original red colouring’ I don’t really care what the price is for it this time’ and I don’t say that a lot’ it’s definitely worth it.
