Great overview! I have to add, for anyone considering this, that the combination of DMD2 (as your android launcher) with a handlebar controller is what takes the hardware to the next level, beyond what dedicated GPS devices can currently do. It is much more versatile and safe vs trying to use gloved fingers on a touchscreen. I see you have videos on some Carpe Iter (CI) controllers but there other options, for example, Thork Racing who developed the T865 now has what appears to be a very robust controller. I love my T865 on large adv bike. I also use the DMD2 app/launcher on dirt bike with an older, but bright, android phone to follow GPX tracks. Both setups work with my original CI controller which easily swaps between bikes.
It's not to heavy for the Rally Tower? I mean, for example, if you use this tablet in a Hellas with the RG Rally tower ... did you have make similar weight supporting tests?
Does anyone (amongst the viewers) have any experience of this ? The fact that it’s made in Portugal puts me off ! (The Portuguese are nice people, but pretty shit with technology!) (in my experience)
Good informative and has explained in very easy and understanding way. How much is price. This device gps will work as standalone as Garmin GPS without any internet connection or mobile data. Last this device will work in India Country . Thanks
Cool video. Could you do a comparison between this and the Garmin Tread Overland?

Capre Iter or DMD T865 ? Hard to answer :/
What is the source of the map information? Google? Apple, Garmin?
How do you take care of pogo pins?
after some rides we recommend you to use cleaning spray on connectors and check the pins if they are alright

the tablet is slightly lighter then the Carpe iter. Our tower can withstand weigh of. Carpe iter and two ICOs so the DMD tablet is no problem
I have the tower… It’s strong !!
You should try the TRIPLTEK 9, much better quality, 10 times more powerful and 1300 nits brightness , true sunlight readable display
True. It’s a powerhouse.
But more expensive 1000 USD vs 736.
@@todomoteros_co a display you are able to see under the sun vs a display you can not see or use, just for your safety
