I tried with flax seed ..no eggs..it was very very good..I kept a little bit in the fridge before eating..it did not crumble..tasty..bravo..next are the muffins!
I recently went to the doctor and found out that I need to introduce more whole grains into my diet, and I didn't realize that oats were so versatile. Thanks so much for this!
Honestly, I'm not sure! You could try a teaspoon and a half of baking powder only and see how it goes, that's what I would do if I was out of baking soda.
Um - maybe! It also might make it too watery! I have a zucchini oat flour bread recipe if you'd rather try that : hungryhobby.net/oat-flour-zucchini-bread/
I tried making it but doesn’t look like yours .. I did insert toothpick and it was pretty cooked but looks kinda uncooked inside. Not sure how much it was supposed to rise us it feels dense and heavy
Hi Hobby, thanks so much for sharing this info. On your website where you listed the ingredients and nutritional values, you stated it contains 167kcal, is that per slice or for the whole loaf?
I keep the recipe and measurements on the blog where it's printable and there is more clarification. I know people don't' love to click over, but it's more consistent and better that way across the board for all my recipes. There are also some screenshots there that may help with the consistency clarification!
That might work! My aunt uses flax eggs: To make a flax egg, mix one tablespoon ground flaxseed meal with three tablespoons of water. Mix together, and let sit in your fridge for 15 minutes to set up and thicken. (You need two flax eggs for this recipe.)
You reallllyyy seem to like adding sugary things, don't you? Sugar, maple, honey.... I'd rather leave them all out... maybe see how this would taste with green bananas and extra salt! >_o

May I know how long I should wait for the oat to absorb the moisture before I put it into the oven?
no just the 10 minutes is fine!
@@HungryHobby thanks
can I do this without baking soda?
Honestly, I'm not sure! You could try a teaspoon and a half of baking powder only and see how it goes, that's what I would do if I was out of baking soda.
@@HungryHobby ohhhh alrighty thanks!!! cant wait to try it
Can we skip on the maple syrup or is it vital to the bread making process?
I think you would need to substitute some sort of liquid or it would be too dry!
Can I leave out the syrup?
This seems to be a common question the last couple of weeks! I think so, I would just increase the almond milk by the same amount.
Trying it this weekend! Can’t wait... just subscribed!!
Hope you enjoy
Thanks for sharing your recipe، experience and tips!
I’m happy to meet your channel!
I made this one.
It turned out the best oatmeal banana bread!!!
I'm so happy you liked it and so glad you found my channel as well!
Hi!
What if you don’t have baking soda in your pantry, should I add more baking powder?
yes! that should work!
Great looking recipe - thank you so much for sharing! I'd like to avoid the syrup though, any suggestions what to replace it with if necessary?
Honestly, you could probably just skip it and add more almond milk, just know it obviously won't be very sweet! Let me know if you try it!
Good question. Thoroughly mash banana in its peel. If additional sweetness is desired then use liquid from soaking dried fruit or use molasses.
What temperature & time for this recipe?
The recipe link is in the description!
Great video!! Sounds like a fun recipe
Thanks BEEBLAY, this would totally keep while you work overnight, would be a great healthy snack! The muffin version might be even more popular.
Thank you
You're welcome!
Recipe ..how much oat flour etc..please
Check description
You don't use baking powder so it can rise ?
Yes! Baking powder is in the video and in the recipe on the blog :)
I’m so glad I found you!! I’m going to try some of these tomorrow! Really appreciate your wisdom and knowledge!!
Enjoy! I love baking with oat flour!
Would it work out right to add zucchini to this?
Oat flour products are denser or heavier than traditional products made with all-purpose flour! It takes a while to get use to the texture for sure!
Can I use honey instead of maple syrup?
I think that would work fine!
Thank you for requesting a vegan suggestion. Replace each egg with 1T flax meal and 2T water. Replace milk with water from soaking nuts or aquafaba.
Love these suggestions! The milk I used was almond milk so shouldn't need a substitute!
What are the measurements?
Hi Veronica, they are in the blog post linked in the description!
Hi Hobby, thanks so much for sharing this info. On your website where you listed the ingredients and nutritional values, you stated it contains 167kcal, is that per slice or for the whole loaf?
