Firstly, don't panic! The old background is not gone forever! This is where all makeup tutorials will be filmed. Normal, reviews etc... (apart from this one!) will be with the normal background.
The reason for the change for makeup is because it allows you to see everything very clearly. Colour shows up as it really is. My skin tone here is what it really is. Often with day light and normal back grounds the skin tone isn't always exact, so this is why i'm using the infinite white back ground for makeup x
I am not sponsored nor was i paid for this review! Just so you know!

I can not praise these enough. Yes, it’s an old video but these are probably the must haves for anyone who wants a filter, a healthy glow and a natural look. I’m 56, have dry, mature skin and I swear these make me look younger, better, healthier.
They have numerous colors out now, including blushes with the same technology and you can use them as highlighters, blush, contouring, bronzers or just an all over appliance to get that filtered healthy subtle glow.
They do not give a blinding highlight, these are all about looking natural, and it’s my no 1 secret and best buy ever. Highly recommended for anyone.

I don’t know how I found out about this product but oh my gosh! The effect of it on the skin is absolute perfection. I got the luminosity one. I have very pale dry skin. Whether I use primer/foundation or not, I get a subtle, lit from within glow. I dislike makeup that screams makeup. I like subtle, whispery makeup that lets people see me only more lovely. This fits right into my philosophy. It smooths pores and adds a glow, not a shimmer or glitter. It’s expensive but there’s a lot of product and you barely need to touch it with a brush to get the effect you’re looking for. It’ll last a very long time. It’s worth every single cent. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s great for mature skin. If you’re indecisive, treat yourself and get it. You’ll be so glad you did.

I have fair & dry skin and avoid using a powder most of the time. I've bought this powder in Diffused Light and it's AMAZING. Normally my skin looks very dull, a lot of red scars from acne and this gives me an healthy glow and an even skintone. It does exactly what it says; It's not shimmery but gives that healthy looking glow. Next on my list is Ethereal Light. Can't wait!

Veronica Sue Starlite i actually own one of them now! Ethereal light ❤️. I have very dry skin and it looks so good! It’s not a setting powder but a finishing powder. I do use it all over the face for a gorgeous subtle glow. I did however notice that when i’m in direct bright sunlight, there is glitter all over my face. So there is indeed glitter in it. But it doesn’t bother me at all 😁😁😁. It’s only noticeable in direct sunlight.

@@mimivb87 Thanks for getting back with me...here I am again trying to decide on which powder to purchase! I'm very fair also as you can see in my pic, I saw a woman in Sephora before and after approx my age 56 w/ Ethereal Light and oh my gosh the difference was unreal. Stunning. I felt a bit rude because I was staring and kept saying "OMG that's unreal". I'm so glad you left this message, you really helped me completely make my decision. I was between Mood and Ethereal. Some ladies have every shade, I just can't make myself spend that much money on powder in good conscious. Thanks again. xo

I just got the ambient light palette this morning.. and tried using it as a highlighter and was so unimpressed, seriously. Then I watched this & remembered your technique of using powder before foundation and holy hot damn. My makeup has never looked so smooth. I'm super pale, I used incandescent light all over and flushed some radiant light on my cheeks, then applied NARS sheer glow (not even half a pump). It's all pretty and glowy. Thank you so much for your amaze videos, even the ones from 2 years ago are still helping people!!!

Some times I use it in the middle of my face then I apply luminous light on the rest but with a light hand. I adore these and plan on getting some more. I apply it with the Tom Ford brush 2 and it just looks amazing.

Your skin looks subtly radient using this finishing powder. I think that I will invest in a shade or two- I have to remind myself not to go overboard with the application and end up highlighting portions (e.g. large pores and fine lines) of my face that should be left in the dark. :-/ You did it very well- maybe you could do a tutorial on applications when you get the other shades (use lovely Mandy)!! xx

Love your videos. I think I will try this product. I love dewy finishes, radiant and even sparkly make up, but cannot wear it because I am 46 and have a lot lines and enlarged pores. I would love if you could do a video on how to help hide signs of aging (very dark circles, lots of lines around and on eye lids and large pores) especially how to get the most dewy radiant skin without emphasizing those lines. Thank you for everything you do and I hope you get sponsored, you so deserve it.

In the beginning of the video I wasn't aware that you used the product & said oh wow he looks fantastic in the video, very radiant so for that reason alone it's definitely something I may look into. Have you tried their waterproof bronzer? The term waterproof when talking about a powder bronzer is a little difficult to believe but I hear it's more on the yellow aside which is suppose to work great on my light yellow skintone

    Your skin looks so purrty!
how do you feel these will hold up on deeper skin tones?
do you think these will be suitable for flash photography given the reflective properties, or harsh fluorescent office lighting?
and would you recommend these for those who already have a shiny finish to the skin? I sometimes use chanel vitalumiere (in 50) or bourjois healthy mix serum (in 56) and theyre usually too shiny later in the day if not immediately, although i've not a oily skin. still suitable?

im a little confused... so as a finishing powder, are you supposed to use it before or after setting your makeup with loose powder? or do you replace loose powder with this?

You must have been visiting Lisa when you filmed this. Or maybe Pixiwoo. The white is too stark for you. BUT, you look really good! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

I agree with simplypretty78, Wayne, I really liked he black background best. It seemed to make the picture easier to see the makeup and what you're showing :)

I think the Too Faced Absolutely Invisible Candlelight Softly Illuminating Translucent Powder would possibly be comparable. I wouldn't mind a comparison review.

I know you said the shimmer is practically invisible, but would you recommend this to someone who has relatively large pores and healing acne scars?

Have you tried any of the Guerlain meteorites? I was tempted to buy some in Debenhams as the holiday collection was half price, but they looked very shimmery and I wasn't sure how you'd use them. I have dry skin. Thank you!
