+Glecerry Malejan I have the Gleam one, and I use it EVERYDAY. I know that's not a Tati review (she's the best) but i just thought I would share my opinion. I like the texture so much.
+Yemariam Girma to be honest Tati is by far one of the most knowledgable beauty youtubers. But you could also check out Kathleenlights(she posts 3 times a week) or rachhloves(3 times a week) they both seem so incredibly sweet!
+Yemariam Girma Hey.. the channels I'm goanna suggest might not uplod daily, but they make great videos and their totorials are easy to follow here are my all time favorites. Niki totorials, Jacklyn Hill, Teni Panosian, Wanye Goss, Tanya Burr and Danielle Mansutti.. hope it helped :)
I just started watching thatgirlshaexo & while she may be younger, she is such a positive light & her videos always put me in a great mood. Plus her makeup tutorials are on point :) And she's incredibly gorgeous!
+Jane Doe I thought the same thing! A beauty blender is $20 but that sponge is $22. It seems excessive. I'll take my chance and use the real techniques sponge.
I wish they sold a smaller size of the hourglass products. Like the size of the small ones in the palette. They're just so expensive and I honestly don't think I would go through a full size one since I only wear makeup on the weekends.
Tati: "let's face it, we're all not 25" Me: *pauses video* wait what, Tati isn't in her 20's then?! lol I'm a new subscriber btw, I fell in love with your video but dang girl! You look young and beautiful! lol
Hey Tati I work at Sephora and the hourglass rep was telling me to use the mist and fix from MUFE to wet the sponge. He said that's the best way to wet it and he mentioned that Mac fix+ doesn't work as well because of the glycerin in it and it wouldn't make the powder as blendable on the skin :)
Hi Tati. I just wanna ask what actually is the purpose of the ambient powder? Is it a highlighter or can be like a face powder too? Cuz initially I thought it's a highlighter and then I watched some gurus applying it all over their faces so I got a little confused.
it isnt so hard like Becca so u can just softly put it on the whole face when u want a fresh, glowy effect. But of course it is soft normal highliter but u can also spray your brush by termal water/fix plast and make it more shiny :)
+Nawal oon (Nawaloon) I know you asked Tati, but I wanted to help you out. The original ambient lighting powders are considered finishing powders. They are meant to set your makeup and give you a certain glow to mimic various forms of lighting such as "dim light" or "candle light." They are subtle enough to use all over the face with a light hand, and they give a beautiful all-over effect to the face.
+Nicolina Surel I agree with Nicolina (absolutely love your name) the ambient powders will do amazing things for your skin, the strobe powers are (in my opinion) to highlight. But makeup is what you want it to be, so use them how you want. Either way these powders are A. M. A. Z. I. N. G.
+Nawal oon (Nawaloon) I have the 3 pan ambient compact and I use the light shade as a highlight, the middle for eyeshadow highlight and inner eye, and the last shade all over my face or under my eyes to set. The powders appear beautiful on the skin :)
Was anybody else like "I really hope she's gonna put that on her face & doesn't waste it 😫" when she got the product on the sponge?? 😂😂 we don't have time to waste product when it's $38 😂😁❤️
See, these were a total NOT for me, like, epic total failure. I returned them almost immediately. I was also really disappointed/annoyed that they named one INCANDESCENT because I was expecting it to be the same as the original Incandescent from the 3-Pan palette based on the description. Well, it is NOT the same. *They confirmed it was not the same, and apologized for the confusion.* But swatching them side by side not only can you tell a difference in the two with how much glitter comes off of the strobe, you can tell a difference in the product quality itself. They were not the same quality as the regular Ambient Lighting Powders, which are rich and buttery, almost creamy in the pan. These are dollar store cheap feeling, and dry and flyaway and all around totally awful. And while you called it varying sizes of shimmer/glimmer, I'd call it flat out glitter. I felt like these were trying to capitalize on the name and their momentum, and not at all the level I expect from a company that charges almost $40 for that tiny pan!
+Amy Dickey why I left a comment as to how are these against the ambient as I also have the 3 pan and Incandescent is only found in that palette. I am going to swatch these at Sephora this week, curious myself on the glitter and texture.
BARE I specifically bought Incandescent because I was told it was the same exact thing, and when I called them to clarify that after I got them, they said "you're right, it's not. These are a different product entirely, they're not the same. The only one that IS the same is Iridescent, which was featured in the Edit palette. Our apologies for the confusion." That was disappointing on its own, but the product itself is just not the same quality as their others. The other powders are on a truly different level of quality.
I'm just not impressed with these at all. I sent mine back. They just don't do anything on my skin, I would ask friends if they could tell I had used a "strobe" powder and they all said they noticed nothing. I know that's the goal of make up but when your face looks the same with or without a product, what's it really doing? Sticking to Dior's glowing gardens.
+Skye Seaforth if you want that sophisticated glow without the glitter i HIGHLY suggest "girlactik face glow in natural"...it is so perfect for everyday and natural look. I have all the strobing highlighting brands from The balm (all three shades) to Becca (all shades), LM, Dior, Nars, and other indie brands...the natural face glow is so perfect for that glow from within without looking like a disco ball. Definitely check out it...you would be hard pressed to find a review that wasn't a rave on it. (the owner of girlactik is also very sweet and gracious and its great to support smaller companies)
Your eye makeup today is gorgeous!!! I don't own any Hourglass products but I'm now contemplating trying out the Ambient Lighting Palette or these Strobing Powders. Thanks for another informative review. :)
the best thing about you is you post so frequently but your content is up to mark... I know you are in Paris then too u take so much effort in posting regularly... love you
Tati- I already bought Brilliant but I want another one (shocker I know!). Which one is the lightest in terms of color? I was hoping you would swatch them all side by side in the video but I didn't see that.
Tati how do you keep pushing out quality videos every week time and time again while others struggle and complain about having to film and edit?? Please do a video on how to keep on schedule and how you keep the quality up so high. Love your videos so much!! Gotta try these powders...i love hourglass so much I use their ambient palette every day to set my bb cream. You rock girl!
OH and I keep meaning to mention thank you So much for never yelling in your videos God I have to adjust volume for so many videos and yours is always just the right tone.
Colourpop ones are great & only $6. I went to a concert last night so I used one and got my best friend use one and they stayed strong for 6-7 hours...she's hooked now.
Hi! I just want to say that i heard Inglot has liquid lipsticks (from Instagram) i hope that one day Tati would review them and compare them to the other ones 😄 cause i know she loves the contour powders 😄 i have the powders and eyeshadows and brushes and love that staff 😁😁😁
Darn it! I had no intentions at all to buy these, but you just convinced me and now my wallet is going to be mad. Haha! Love how descriptive you are. xoxo
I know I'm not Tati, but if you're wanting other people's input too, I would say it would depend on what you really want. If you're going for a more natural and subtle glow then hourglass would probably be better, but if you're expecting BABAM strong highlighting, then the becca highlighters are the way to go!
Tati can you review the new Wet N Wild makeup? I just did a review on the contour sticks and eyeshadows.. some of the products were good some I thought were just ok. Would also love to hear your opinion on them! xoxo Patricia
I have Incandescent Light and I'm not crazy about it... The sheen is beautiful, but even though it isn't chunky, there are still teeny glitter particles in it that I don't love. If it was just a straightforward satin powder a bit more shimmery than the regular ambient lighting powders, I'd like it better. Even my very intense highlighters (i.e., Mary-Lou Manizer from ThaBalm) don't have any noticeable glitter particles whatsoever. :/
I wish I loved this! Not very pigmented, very flaky, breaks apart SO easily in the compact container even when I'm just swiping my brush across it. I had to literally paint my cheeks with this for it to show up :(
I swatched these at sephora but I noticed glitter flecks... Can you see glitter on the face after? Am I crazy? Maybe the pans were crossed contaminated from other products/fingers swatching lol 😆
Thanks for the review I totally looked over the brush but I'm now going to get today.... I have them and even the ambient powders and they always defuse pores and lines I love them all hourglass always does things right ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Its funny that they are made in Italy and I have never seen them here in shop :( It's a bit not fair...I have D&G (famous italian brand) mascara which is made in JAPAN ...
I love the dim light powder from the original set! I use it also to sweep the under eye or all over setting. I want to try these powders but I really wouldn't go through them completely. Any good dupes?! Or @Tati if you had to pick one to splurge on which one?
What are your thoughts on the body shop makeup ? They have really pretty eyeshadow but I don't know how good they are... Maybe you could do a hot or not 😊 have a great day love you Tati, you're amazing
I LOVE EUPHORIC THE BEST AND THE SPONGE IS A LITTLE WEIRD BUT THANKS TO YOU, I NOW KNOW I CAN USE MY SETTING SPRAY ON IT!!!!!!!!!!! THANKYOU TATI FOR ANOTHER AWESOME, INFORMATIVE AND IN-DEPTH REVIEW...YOU ARE ALWAYS SOOOOOOOO CARING, BEAUTIFUL AND SHARING....THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💛💛💛💜👼
I wish I could use Hourglass powders :( I got three for my birthday last year and they made my skin go all red and rashy so I had to return them. These look so gorgeous though.
tati, your style has changed so much..specially your jewellery choices! i was watching a couple of your 2014-fashion hauls and videos today.. and wow - that was one street style loving tati i hadn't known off. (Given that i've been following you since mid-2015 ).. certainly i love this sophisticated tati though - i relate to it better! :D :) looking forward to a 2016 fashion haul :)
Tati, Check Laura Geller in QVC, She releases Spring Glow kit 2016. I've got it yesterday. I will tell you this that the Highlighter in the Baked trio is Awesome! It's comparable to Hourglass highlighter. Check the picture on my instagram so you can see the picture. instagram: luchiegbeauty
I love the Hourglass Ambient Powders and also use them every day. Just a quick note, THANK YOU for having manicured nails, I am completely turned off when one has published a video with chipped polish. Had to vent.
You are the best beauty vlogger on the whole of UA-cam, since starting watching your videos I can't stand to watch anyone else because they are nowhere near as good as you 💙
You know what? The Ambient Powder in Ethereal Light is one of the only, if not THE only, high end products that I have RE-purchased. I love it so much. Next time I have the opportunity, I want to swatch these. It is so hard to find a flattering highlighter for skin that's not in it's 20's.
I'm curious if you've ever tried Clinique's High Lengths Mascara. Been binge watching your vids (as usual lol) and after watching your mascara videos, I haven't seen that one in any of them. I'm really surprised I don't see more people using it! It's one of those that gets better as it dries out a little, but I've been using that for years and love it to death! I love you and your videos Tati! Thank you for doing the work for us and sharing your honest opinions, you don't get too many honest beauty channels on here. P.S. This is like the 5th time I'm commenting this but get James to work and let him do your makeup please! ❤️
Hey Tati! I absolutely love your videos, especially your WTF videos. I love high end make up! I was wondering if you have ever tried Chanel's translucent loose setting powder. It has been my holy grail setting powder for 6+ years! You have me curious about the La Mer powder now, so I wanted to know your thoughts on the Chanel powder if you have tried it. Love you!
I think everything is gorgeous but the sponge?? Umm, I think you can get away with just any cosmetic sponge, dry or damp, if you wanna use one instead of brush. For those of you on a budget- Makeup Revolution Radiance Palette is so good! Very fine highlight. And you can't beat the price!
Watch your stuff religiously, so thankful for your reviews, I go to you before buying anything! keep up this amazing work, I wish I could live in your shoes, Thankyou!
Whelp. I had money in my account. I want all four. I adore hourglass powders and honestly I'd love for you to do a side by side with BECCA powders because it seems that's the dividing line in the makeup world. You're an hourglass girl, or a BECCA girl when it comes to highlight.
You're such a hard working woman, Tati! I admire your dedication so much! Can you do a review on the Guerlain meteorites pearls? I've been eyeing them for a while now and I cannot get Hourglass in Norway without paying crazy shipping fees!
Do a review on theBalm cosmetics! That would be fun to watch as I enjoy their products so muchh
The best of TheBalm would be lovely actually.
+royal idols CHENNNN
Yeah, would love a video for theBalm
+royal idols yes please that'd be great :)
Yeah omg I love their bahama mama contour powder I'm so obsessed with it lol 🙊
Oh no! One more video tomorrow and then boring ass weekend without Tati 😔 I want Tati for 365 days!
I know. I'm sad!
I know :( the weekend gets boring and I skim through her older videos
+mars love follow her on snapchat, she's on it everyday!
+EMY BLUE same! I love her so much 😫😭
+Guadalupe Diaz what's her snapchat?
Can you do a review for anastasia beverlyhills 2 glow kits
I'd like to second that request!
+Katie Nydam yes!!
+Glecerry Malejan I have the Gleam one, and I use it EVERYDAY. I know that's not a Tati review (she's the best) but i just thought I would share my opinion. I like the texture so much.
I'd love to see that!
+Katie Nydam ...I'd like to third that request!
THANK GOD you uploaded Tati, I was running out of videos to watch and didn't know what to do with myself...
Anyone have suggestions on good channels I could watch, preferably ones who upload everyday? thanks
+Yemariam Girma to be honest Tati is by far one of the most knowledgable beauty youtubers. But you could also check out Kathleenlights(she posts 3 times a week) or rachhloves(3 times a week) they both seem so incredibly sweet!
Why would you watch UA-cam so much?
+Yemariam Girma Hey.. the channels I'm goanna suggest might not uplod daily, but they make great videos and their totorials are easy to follow here are my all time favorites. Niki totorials, Jacklyn Hill, Teni Panosian, Wanye Goss, Tanya Burr and Danielle Mansutti.. hope it helped :)

thank you for this :')
Thank you for being so positive! I need this in my life right now! 💋💋
💋👍 xoxo
♥ What a nice message, thank you!! The same to you :) ♥
I love her voice; her skills; her personality and overall her channel!Love you tati
Who else watches Tati while doing there makeup in the morning?? :) :)
meeeeeeeeeeeeee
I watch her videos all the time :p
that's my favorite!!
💁🏼💁🏼💁🏼💁🏼💁🏼
meee!:-)
What about the flat edge on the real techniques sponge?
I've got that sponge it's amazing!
+Jane Doe I thought the same thing! A beauty blender is $20 but that sponge is $22. It seems excessive. I'll take my chance and use the real techniques sponge.
+Liz Gibson ive had both and they give the same results. I love my RT sponge, only problem is it rips easily
+Jane Doe I was thinking the same since it is much cheaper in price also!!
Yeah that's a good question! I feel like it couldn't be much different.
I wish they sold a smaller size of the hourglass products. Like the size of the small ones in the palette. They're just so expensive and I honestly don't think I would go through a full size one since I only wear makeup on the weekends.
they do have smaller sizes of their ambient lighting powders at sephora
+elsamameri ooh thanks for the info, I'm definitely going to check that out!!
I have the same problem. What was the info shared? It doesn't show up on my end.
+onyxfaith there are smaller sizes at sephora
Eva Quintanar thank you!
Tati: "let's face it, we're all not 25"
Me: *pauses video* wait what, Tati isn't in her 20's then?! lol
I'm a new subscriber btw, I fell in love with your video but dang girl! You look young and beautiful! lol
Tati looks AMAZING for her age, she has the best skin I've ever seen! Welcome to the Tati club, her videos are life ❤️
+Angie Gault I know she has beautiful skin 😭😍 and awe thank you Angie! :)
Blurb I figured like late 20's lol
MFreedoom thanks for notifying me! :)
+Abigail Gonzalez a pleasure girl! I subscribed a few months ago and I am hooked lol.
Love how much you upload!!!
I love how Tati also talks about how the product works in different age groups even though im 15 but its really considerate
Would the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (that also has that flat edge) do the same thing?
Yes thats what I use and I also use it damp for extra sparkle
Please let James do you makeup!

Ur voice is so comforting and relaxing. Ur the BEST!!!!
Please try Whole Foods makeup!!! I love it and it compares to luxury makeup!
Hope you are having fun in PARIS!
NEXT TIME, Can I Come WITH? ; ]

Hot or Not on MILK Cosmetics (now at Sephora)
Was anybody else like "I really hope she's gonna put that on her face & doesn't waste it 😫" when she got the product on the sponge?? 😂😂 we don't have time to waste product when it's $38 😂😁❤️

That was disappointing on its own, but the product itself is just not the same quality as their others. The other powders are on a truly different level of quality.
Kate's Pet Corner That is exactly the way I felt...It really was a knock on the brand for me.
Please review Lush products
the best thing about you is you post so frequently but your content is up to mark... I know you are in Paris then too u take so much effort in posting regularly... love you
HI TATI! MAY YOU PLEASE FILM VIDEOS ON OUTFUTS OF THE DAY, EXERCING ROUTINES, NUTRITION. LIFE HACKS ETC!! PLEASE!!!!
xoxoxo
I watch ur videos every morning at 7 before I get out of bed and look forward to them every single day, thank you so much
Tati- I already bought Brilliant but I want another one (shocker I know!). Which one is the lightest in terms of color? I was hoping you would swatch them all side by side in the video but I didn't see that.
I'd say it would be incandescent :)
+kimjorg Incandescent is right...it is the lightest but you probably wouldn't be happy with it if you are super warm toned.
I absolutely love your channel Tati 😊
Amazing tati!!! please do a review on the nars nacissit palette or others palette of nars !! :))
I seriously just sit here refreshing my feed until you upload! ;)
Which strobing powder do you have on right now? Thanks!
I watch Tati's videos everyday when I come back home from school!
Tati looks sooo different now! Trying to figure out what she had done
Sometimes I apply Ambient Lighting Powder with my fingers and it goes on so smoothly. I love hourglass!!!! Soo good!
Anyone know what the CHEAPEST liquid lipsticks are? Like ones that dry completely and aren't sticky and don't transfer?
Colourpop! They're $6. The older colors are meh formula wise but they've changed their formula for their newer colors and they're great
jordana just came out with some, 2.99 each
+Tiger Girl the Ebay China versions, they are only a $1, check YT for limecrime dupe and they pull up
Colourpop ones are great & only $6. I went to a concert last night so I used one and got my best friend use one and they stayed strong for 6-7 hours...she's hooked now.
The la girl liquid lipsticks are only 3.99. I love the color dreamy, it's a perfect everyday color.
Haha! Love how descriptive you are. xoxo
Look like I'm going to have to pick one of these up. I'm going to try and wait till the next Sephora sale so I can get them just a bit cheaper. lol
Love your videos and now I'm going to have to buy all of these!!! Also what's on your nails in this vid? Xx
What lipstick/gloss are you wearing? It's stunning!
A Hot or Not on glitter injections!!
I love these powders too! I don't know why they are rated so bad on Sephora.com
If you could afford just one, do you think it's better to go with becca highlighters or these powders?
I know I'm not Tati, but if you're wanting other people's input too, I would say it would depend on what you really want. If you're going for a more natural and subtle glow then hourglass would probably be better, but if you're expecting BABAM strong highlighting, then the becca highlighters are the way to go!
Do a review of Lush Makeup! I really want to know if they work! :)
Hourglass powders in Canada are $52. I returned my ethereal ambient powder...not worth it. We'll see about these strobing powders...
Just ordered Incandescent and Euphoric yesterday, can't wait for their arrival now!! 😃🙌🏻💕
Great review! I have been wanting one of these so it was helpful to see your review first! xoxo Anne
Every afternoon, I stop working for 20 minutes go grab a cup of tea and do a happy 'Tati has uploaded' dance!! The perfect afternoon break :)
Tati can you review the new Wet N Wild makeup? I just did a review on the contour sticks and eyeshadows.. some of the products were good some I thought were just ok. Would also love to hear your opinion on them! xoxo Patricia
Tati is half way across the world from her home and still manages to upload new videos. This is why I love her!! ❤️❤️❤️
Tati, can you please do a video on Makeup Geek or Colourpop eyeshadows! 😘❤️❤️
I'm so excited to get one of these when I get paid!! Eeeee!!
Love your videos!! I just re watched all the Madness Monday or Monday madness!! I love the drug store hauls!!
I have Incandescent Light and I'm not crazy about it... The sheen is beautiful, but even though it isn't chunky, there are still teeny glitter particles in it that I don't love. The ambient lighting palettes are holy grail everyday products for me--totally worth the money
Awesome review thanks. Have put this product on my wish list :)
I wish I loved this! Not very pigmented, very flaky, breaks apart SO easily in the compact container even when I'm just swiping my brush across it. I had to literally paint my cheeks with this for it to show up :(

Its funny that they are made in Italy and I have never seen them here in shop :( It's a bit not fair...I have D&G (famous italian brand) mascara which is made in JAPAN ...
I would love to know what nail polish brand/color that is that you're wearing!
I have fine lines and I'm only 16 😩😩
Would you be willing to do a NYX Hot or Not? They have so many products like primers and shadows that would fun to try.
I love the dim light powder from the original set! I use it also to sweep the under eye or all over setting. I want to try these powders but I really wouldn't go through them completely. Any good dupes?! Or @Tati if you had to pick one to splurge on which one?
I didn't like them. I returned it to Sephora...I like MAC soft and gentle better.
Hourglass has really good products... even for mature skin too. They don't set in fine lines like other brands do.
I was kind of hoping Tati would say I don't need these! Here comes another addition to my collection...
What are your thoughts on the body shop makeup ? They have really pretty eyeshadow but I don't know how good they are... Maybe you could do a hot or not 😊 have a great day love you Tati, you're amazing
they last for ages!
^Agree! I have mine in those individual colors and they've been my everyday shades for about 1 year now and I haven't run out yet
What's the difference between these and the original ones ?? I'm confused between strobe and ambient..
I wish I could use Hourglass powders :( I got three for my birthday last year and they made my skin go all red and rashy so I had to return them.
These look so gorgeous though.

looking forward to a 2016 fashion haul :)
i watch your videos lately but I find myself mesmerized by your gold stone ring. can you tell me where it is from?
Tati, Check Laura Geller in QVC, She releases Spring Glow kit 2016. I've got it yesterday. I will tell you this that the Highlighter in the Baked trio is Awesome! It's comparable to Hourglass highlighter. Check the picture on my instagram so you can see the picture. instagram: luchiegbeauty
I love the Hourglass Ambient Powders and also use them every day. Just a quick note, THANK YOU for having manicured nails, I am completely turned off when one has published a video with chipped polish. Had to vent.
These are gorgeous!! I need!!
Here from September 2020 and still missing you, Tati! Please come back to UA-cam and your fans! Please review the Annayake cosmetics line!
Sounds like you're saying ombient
You are the best beauty vlogger on the whole of UA-cam, since starting watching your videos I can't stand to watch anyone else because they are nowhere near as good as you 💙
You paid 100$ for the pallet? I brought it for 80$ ._.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the new Benefit products once they come out!
You know what? The Ambient Powder in Ethereal Light is one of the only, if not THE only, high end products that I have RE-purchased. I love it so much. Next time I have the opportunity, I want to swatch these. It is so hard to find a flattering highlighter for skin that's not in it's 20's.
I love your videos but I find the volume of your videos so low, I can barely hear you :( Is it just me?
Ohh, they look so stunning. Lovely video as always, Tati!
Watch your stuff religiously, so thankful for your reviews, I go to you before buying anything! keep up this amazing work, I wish I could live in your shoes, Thankyou!
What nail polish are you wearing??? SOOOO BEAUTIFUL
That sponge looks very similar to the real techniques miracle complexion sponge-and at $22 vs. $6, there is no way I would buy that!!!
Whelp. I had money in my account. I want all four. I adore hourglass powders and honestly I'd love for you to do a side by side with BECCA powders because it seems that's the dividing line in the makeup world. You're an hourglass girl, or a BECCA girl when it comes to highlight.
Can you do a WTF on La mer foundation? Actually, could you review Tom Ford foundations? I'm thinking of splurging on one...
Please review Becca's Aqua Luminous Perfecting foundation! I love your reviews and I trust your opinion
Please do a WTF! On the By Terry Terrybly Densillis!!!!!!!💞💕 btw loved this video
You're such a hard working woman, Tati! I admire your dedication so much! Can you do a review on the Guerlain meteorites pearls? I've been eyeing them for a while now and I cannot get Hourglass in Norway without paying crazy shipping fees!
Hi Tati! Love your reviews 👏🏼. Could you please compare luminous light vs euphoric? Thanks!
I'm so pleased I subscribed to you earlier this week; really enjoying your videos. You're very beautiful, with and without makeup!
How do you think these would work with medium tan complexions?
