I have had my 2023 Maverick EB Lariat/lux AWD for 13 months, 10,000 miles. I have had it in for two recalls, both software updates and everything is perfect. I never even had any issues related to the recalls before I went in. My overall Mileage ave since new is 28.8 MPG. The Maverick is the Swiss Army knife of small trucks. It does pretty much everything. I was coming down slowly in size so it would be not be such a shock. Traded in a 2017 Ram Hemi Crew Cab 4x4 in on a 2020 Grand Cherokee Overland and then traded that on the 2023 Mav. I got the top luxury trim because I am used to all the bells and whistles. I paid exactly $35,700 US after waiting 7.5 months for it to be built. I still love it like I day I brought it home. No plans to trade for a 2025 because from what I have seen, they made a train wreck out of the front clip.
13:06 I looked for several months and I ended up with a Ford Maverick 2023 Tremor XLT and it's fantastic. Great vision High off the ground Skid plates Rides great on bumps Love the so called cheap plastic AC very powerful Makes me feel safe Not too long great for city parking I purchased Red and it's orangeish and it's shines Seating is comfy Only problem with Ford is that bind spot monitoring and land keeping are soundless👎
Most important advice you failed to provide is make sure you order a hybrid from a dealer who actually has allocates for the hybrid in the first place. At this time, the order banks aren’t even open so you won’t be ordering for some time if a hybrid is what you want.
Well, I’ve had my 2023 Maverick Hybrid XLT now for one year next month. Paid $27,500 for the little truck plus 40+ MPG. No Issues, however I’ve had 4-5 recalls and had it in after the forth recall. All electronic related. Had to argue with the service manager to get a loaner. Or I’d need to set there 6-8 hours. Got the loaner! 7200 miles.
My current ride is on its way out and I might find myself in a Maverick sooner than later. Interest rates make me nervous but it may not be worth waiting for a 2025 if out the door it’s more expensive. Most likely if there were an awd hybrid in 25 it’ll be a PHEV.
Great truck that meets most normal people needs. I for one will buy one once Ford fixes the infotainment. The screen and that giant hole is very off putting.
Dealer, as well as everything else I've seen, you get blue in the interior. The black appearance package does nothing to change the blue plastics on the interior. Just the seat and external.
Maybe they just want to sell one now? It's possible but it was in the original unreleased , unpublished planning but then again it was maybe kept private for this exact reason. Well it should be in the pipeline let's just hope it happens for 2025
A sucker really is born every day, this truck was supposed to be a sub 20k truck, it's now into the mid 40's at the upper trim levels and finding one under 30k is hard, especially with the MU's, at that price, buy a low mileage F150 or Ranger that's a couple of years old for the same price. It boggles the mind that people take this vehicle seriously.
Idk where you live. There is zero being sold anywhere near the mid 40s where I am. Plenty being sold under 30k. Idk what car in 2024 you think is selling for under 20k.

Excellent point. We take orders even when banks are closed so that we have an order and we put them into the system.

Great share for the community. Thank you for your experiences shared
My local dealer just told me the 2024 order book is already full and we have to wait until August for 2025 model year to open. Hopefully AWD Hybrid.
For the USA 100% true. Great share. Thank you for the help
Hopefully AWD will be available for the 25 MY hybrid. I'm going to hold off for the refresh.
Im all for it. But dont expect it to get the same mpg as the fwd version.
When did the hybrid version become more expensive when I got mine it was the cheaper version
model year 2024...

100%. Awd hybrid will ne worth it but in extremely high demand

Does the turbo 4 banger have port injection?
No it does not
What are the wheels on the black one?
It is an RTX model. So relatively inexpensive.
I have heard from two dealers that no AWD hybrid in 2025

Is premium gas required?
No, 87 Octane will do just fine
AWD gets you into more trouble than gets you out of 🤣
