With the lack of new travel videos on UA-cam due to the "situation" I decided to watch some old vlogs I’ve never seen from before I subscribed to your channel and I feel like I need to say thank you. First and foremost for giving me entertainment in times of isolation. And for giving me a new look at Malaysia. My aunt and uncle used to live there for a few years (before I was born so I never got to visit them there). As a child I always loved the stories they told me of their time there but it was never enough to actually make me want to go. Your videos are giving me a whole new perspective and Malaysia is now close to the top of my bucket list of countries to see (even though thinking about travelling feels weird right now).

My hometown! Glad that you girls enjoyed your time there despite the heat. The heat kinda envelopes you like an invisible blanket, seriously. As someone stated in another comment, it's because of the proximity to the ocean, we had to brace I don't know what kind of wind we have here in the SEA tropics, haha.
I've brought my family to the zoo a few months back. Entrance was free because the place is under renovation. The kids were a bit disappointed because the reptiles area was still closed. Okay I kid, it was me who felt disappointed because I wanted to show the crocs to my kids. You literally walk on top of them (on a rickety bridged walkway).
Glad that you enjoyed your hike at Similajau. Thank you for another wonderful video!

    In Sarawak..
    1. Mulu Cave= World Heritage
    2. Niah Cave= Old painting in the cave
    3. Bako National Park= Smallest and oldest national park in Sarawak
    4. Loagan Bunut National Park= The largest natural lake in Sarawak
    5. Lambir National Park= Possibly the highest diversity of trees of any forest in the Old World
    6. Mount Gading National Park= Home to the world’s largest flower, the rafflesia
A friendly remind, numerous of fierce crocs are living in most of the national park, included Similajau National Park with salt water crocs "playing" along the beaches. And hope you enjoy your trip in Bintulu.

The best national park in Sarawak, of course the amazing Mulu National Park. To get there, u need to buy an air ticket from Malaysia Airlines. The nearest national park other from Similajau National Park is Niah National Park. If you archaeology, ancient history of mankind, caving activity, then you should definitely visit this park. Its about 1 and half hour from Bintulu by bus.

    • @BeerForBreakfast

We managed to make a visit to Niah on Sunday. It was lovely. We wanted to go to Mulu but the cost of flying at the moment is pretty high. We will have to plan way in advance for next year. It’s definitely on our list of places to visit 😎

Enjoy watching your video girls. But.. Pity that you girls didnt reach the golden beach, the sand were so coarse & golden like color, so clean & peaceful. The breeze makes you feel calm & refreshed after 10km (5hrs) of hiking. Just make sure you get out of the jungle before its too dark. Should have spend a night in the chalet, and If you're lucky, early in the morning, you can hear & watch dolphins swim at the outfall of the river that you cross, you can watch a school big fish hunting for food in the water in the evening.. Maybe next time girls. Have a nice travel..
