You were very lucky to find a rafflesia flower. I went to Sarawak the other day and was told that there were only 5 flowers blooming in the entire conservation centre and they would die off after 5-10 days. If I am not mistaken it would take 16-18 months for a rafflesia bud to bloom into a flower.

I never got to see the flower while there in christmas 2017. We visited an awesome place that did traditional steamboat with coals which was awesome

WOW that was awesome, I hate leeches but damn id go in the jungle just for that alien flower! Good vlog kids .... ahhh steamboat, miss that. None of that here in the US 😐

tips. just pour some hand sanitiser (or any type of oil) on the leech, it will stop clinging on your skin on its own and you'll stop bleeding in no time.. forcing it will only tear your skin hence the non stop bleeding and it'll leave you a scar..

Another tip I was told back when I was in high school was to pour salt on the leeches and they will somehow drop off.

Oh my Lord, this vlog is very much appreciated for your bravery. It's indeed a dangerous hike despite having professional rangers to guide thru. Again, this is the 1st time I am seeing a Rafflesia flower on UA-cam though have heard about it somewhere and definitely it's because of Justina 😍. Justina, what can I say about your smile and overwhelming anticipations. You are a Star!!! And as for the steamboat meal, I am quite not impressed but was a great exposure that there is this place to explore at Tanah Rata. You both seem exhausted for sure. Have a peaceful rest and hope to see you again in the next Vlog. I am really looking forward and having anxiety attacks. Love u Justina 😘

what a coincidence, me and the family just got back from having steamboat ourselves earlier tonight. I do like the AYCE buffet but hate the cooking part. hot oil gets onto everything, especially the hands LOL
Looked like there was a landslide just beside the bamboo bridge. You two got lucky with the leeches size. I once camped out in Taman Negara during the raining season, the morning I woke up, there's a leech the size of my fist dangling from my waist. Needless to say, bloods were everywhere after I got it off of me 😅

Ohh wow! What a nice surprise knowing that we have someone watching from Trinidad! Micha's grandfather and his family are from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and she's never been there but we should definitely explore that part of the world one day ! 🤗

Wow the flower looked like something from alien planet, very cool. The jeep ride home seemed super dangerous, it's all fun until a head on collision happens. Glad u guys are safe. And the 3 tier cooking thing is amazing. $7 p/p is unheard of for being all u can eat. Not looking forward to the yellow light in the end of video, it means I have to wait for another upload 😉. #cheerstofreedom!!

it is obvious in this video that Cameron Highlands is facing massive destruction due to the massive farming. In the start of the video when Christina crossing that small stream, it was supposed to be very transparent and clear water. Now it is in reddish colour. What a pity. Need to stop the farming in Cameron Highlands.

Rafflesia, the foulest smell flower in the world. As most flowers attract bees and butterflies, rafflesia however attracts flies. Still in my opinion, it is a unique and amazingly weird plant, you just won't be seeing me touching it, ever :D
So weird tho, at the beginning of the video, when you girls were trying to cross that makeshift bridge, somehow that scene reminded me of Blair Witch Project or any self recorded movies ever existed. You know, they all started with happy smiling face, and then the next thing you know, there were people screaming and blood everywhere. Hehe, I am not sure to be happy or freaked out when I found I was right. There were people screaming when they saw the leeches and as for blood, well, we all did saw planty, am I right?
    Great video, you girls rock!

tips: You should use your fingernails to like flick the leach by its mouth so its teeth are properly taken out. If you just pull it like that guy, its teeth are stuck there thats why you bleed a lot.
