In this video I just explain a few of the electrical equipment you may encounter on the roof. Now every roof is not created equal so I am saying you may encounter the same equipment on your roof or you may not. I'm just giving you what I actually had to install on the roof. Now this is definitely one of the most busiest roofs I've come across in a little while. We had so many different units to install up here with not a lot of square footage, it got a little crazy. Planning for all this was a challenge and working on it with all the other trades at the same time proved to be very challenging along with the minimal access we had to actually get material and equipment up to the roof. So I want to take this time out to once again Thank the men that worked up on the roof cause it was no easy task. So thank you to all that helped! If no one told you, I appreciated your help.
Please comment below if you have any questions or any ideas on video's that you would like me to make. I'm always open to suggestions.

VITALINK was specified for your job probably because at the time of the design the RHW special wire that has fire rating for emergency circuits (LIFELINE brand?) lost its UL listing. So it wasn't an option. I think it has since regained its UL listing. Of course MI cable is also an option. Thanks for the tour.

Yes it was on the specs. The men installing it don't like it. They rather go back to RMC. Owners just feel it saves time and money. I have to agree.. but only if you have experienced men Installing it.

Good Videos! Appreciate your efforts. At 7:52, i was wondering if there any reasons there isn't a lamacoid details on voltage and circuit rating or a warning label on Switchgears?

There is. The manufacturer gives us all the stickers. We post them after we are done with install. We get our gear from a local supplier called electrotech. This is how they do it.

@@TheArtOfConduitBending ahh, yeah i just don't see them on front door of like usually they would be! Also was wondering if you could video regarding NGRs or grounding?

@@icodec2181 I never had the opportunity of installing an electrical system that used an NGR. I could do a video explaining it though and also go into grounding. I usually like to do videos on things I'm actually working on so the viewer can actually have a live video to refer to.

Appreciate your feedback and quick response! I would love to know your opinion on grounding and any ground-faults/Short-circuits scenario that you heard of or occurred and precautions to take when grounding equipment.
