M4 Motorway to Anzac Bridge

M4 Motorway to Anzac Bridge via WestConnex and Rozelle Interchange. The final section of the WestConnex had opened today. The Rozelle Interchange connects the M4 and M8 Motorways, Victoria Road at Iron Cove Bridge, Anzac Bridge, and City West Link.

Add some humanity to these tunnels, a la North Connex. Urban images, restful colours, locality identifiers etc. No need for endless blank walls.

Hey Henry - a great video. Would you consider doing one covering the approach from Anzac Bridge onto the M4 travelling west? In the media there has been a lot of coverage about how confusing the Anzac Bridge to M4 approach is. Thanks!

6:38- as you exit lanes off towards the city via Rozelle- its says m4 on those lanes...this should be renamed R.I as in Rozelle Interchange. This is to differentiate the rest of the m4 labeled lanes heading towads the St peters interchange.

I am pretty sure the road markings to the right says M8. It is hard to see from that camera view as I was in the left lane at that time.

@@drivingsydney all 4 lanes had m4 and the far 2 right lanes m4/m8 on it. This is confusing especially when youre entering the interchange going towards the city when technically youre no longer on the m4 and are exiting onto the Rozelle interchange

Can you yell us how much it cost you in tolls for that one way trip???

That trip cost $11.11 one-way 😭 That is the maximum toll on the WestConnex. The tolls are chargeable on the distance traveled up to a maximum travel of just over 16km.

@drivingsydney wow. Thanks for that, this is the same way I would take if I had to go into the city via the tunnels. It does save a lot of time but for the price. Maybe not the way to go on a daily basis.
