This will be such a great addition to Washington County and will be so nice and accessible for all the residents on the other side of the freeway! Thanks Macrae for the update!
When we lived in Vegas we had a Trader Joe's and a Winco both near us. We went to Trader Joe's 2 times and Winco maybe 30 times. No comparison. Winco for the win!
Here's a suggestion a real sit-down restaurant in Washington City. At the cities up for it I'll build it on the Green springs Golf course for them but the upstairs clubhouse for weddings
CURIOUS...what makes them any better than Smiths, Lins, Albertsons, Harmons, Digbys etc? Why would i go to Orem or Vegas to shop Winco? WOW factor missing...
I wouldn't drive that far to shop at Winco, but, having one in town, I guarantee it will now become my new primary grocery store, just like it was years ago when I lived in the Salt Lake valley. They're generally more affordable than the other stores you mentioned.
I live in southern Idaho and we have Winco everywhere up here. It is employee owned and it is the only place I will buy my groceries. They beat the heck out of Walmart on prices and they take care of their customers and employees.
We can always use more food. Unfortunately WinCo is a low end wannabe store. I just don't see this door fitting in was Washington City. Could be a disaster in the making. Shame they couldn't get a quality food retainer

YESSSS! Finally!
Rad to have such a quick update on this, thanks!
Washington City does need more grocery stores and I'm excited about Winco. Now, how about recruiting a Trader Joe's to Washington City?
Praying for Trader Joe’s 😢😢😢😢

@@nocfenix WALMART?
@@waltercrovo1264way more affordable then Walmart
nothing harmons is better than all of them and always will be.
@@LukeLamoreaux-eg7cy if only one harmons would win!
We need a raising cane’s
there are plans for 2 of them in the next 1-3 years
Put the Trader Joe’s right on the other side of the state line.
They said it's a grocery store, but nothing specific about it. Why is this a big deal?

How would you like superior selection, excellent quality and the lowest price you can imagine sometimes even beating Costco. That’s Winco for you.
24 hours?
In the first video i said the city council would make their decision that night, and that i would post about it the next morning if it got approved
@@macraeheppler I think he meant are they gonna be open 24 hours, like they are elsewhere, which is my question, as well.

if you really think winco is that bad, washington is the perfect dump for it.
Their volume per store is higher than any other grocer in the state of utah
