I was about to point this out, but it’s pretty much how all terraria chests work, you think you have an item, you check your chests, you don’t find it, think you must’ve misremembered, go and get another of the same item, later on you see the item in the chest
19:39 When regenerating health naturally, the rate speeds up over time. The reason the crimtaine armor has no effect is because it accelerates this "ramp up" time, thus getting you to the maximum regen rate much sooner. It doesn't actually directly increase regen. In contrast, accessories like the Band of Regen still work, as the band gives a flat +1 hp/s regardless of natural regen.
Passive healing buffs like heart lanterns and campfires give additive regeneration, meaning that you can regenerate even though you have the bleeding effect (I think). Some healing buffs work percentage-wise, so they don't help.
Throarbin the hunger mutation is literally just the don’t starve seed effect with minor changes and funnily enough the mutation fits deerclops’s theme too
I feel like if there's going to be mutations that make things more difficult for the player, then I feel like, every now and then, there should be mutations that provide a positive effect for the player. Maybe something like upon the first completion of an event you get a positive mutation.
Hey throarbin the blackhole mob is absorb everything count as projectile (thats why your starfury projectile was weird i recommend see rather quenched video mediumcore weird ability) including minion bullet arrow anything The soulbound mob cant be damaged from outside of his circle

@@orangajaa.2231 It's just buggy. I've tested it and the soulbound mobs seem to only work like half the time meaning you don't really gotta worry about em.

For Wyverns spawning I recommend hopping in and out of the sky/space layer, when entering a biome the game immediately switches out which monsters can and will start spawning to the biomes respective mobs, that switch increases the likelihood of wyverns spawning. At least for me...
If I had to guess about the regen, I'd probably say that actual health regen's source would be the player. As in like, the healing comes from YOU. But something like a campfire or lantern would be considered healing from an outside source. For example, a campfire increases player regen by 10% AND adds a flat 0.5 health per second on top. So you wouldn't get the 10% actual regen, but you WOULD get the raw healing from an outside source (the campfire). And heart lanterns do a flat 1hp per second if I remember correctly. Not a percent buff dependent upon the player's inherent regen.
For best Melee weapon to face the Mech bosses: I did it with Swords only once, Night's Edge and Breaker Blade were the best for the worm, Frostbrand, Beam Sword and Bladetongue have good projectiles for the twins, and the Excalibur was decent for Prime.
They aren't obsolete, they're a faster but less powerful option Why would you do that? Challenge runs, just like this (and yes, you can beat the Wall of Flesh with anything down to the Night's Edge At least on Expert)
4:18 Or it might be that this man eater had the “Vampire” modifier. I think “Flymes” just gave slimes vulture AI. Honestly I think they’re easier now. 34:22 I think they aren’t raining projectiles because they have vulture AI now, and raining projectiles isn’t a part of vulture AI.
as someone who plays melee often, the drippler crippler can carry pretty much till golem. as for other weapons, things with some sort of projectile or just have high range in general are good. yo-yo's like the armarok and hel-fire are pretty good. although i've never really gotten to use them, bananarangs should also be another good choice. the beam sword and frostbrand are good for having a more close range option while also having range in the form of a projectile. the dao of pow is a good alternative to the drippler crippler since while it has less range, it has a higher base damage. another good melee weapon with pretty high range is the shadow dagger which you can use to inflict several burning debuffs if you have the right setup. as for armor, i prefer the frost set for the higher dps and set bonus of all melee (and ranged) attacks inflicting frostburn. the defense is a bit lower than adamantite and titanium, but it's also pretty convenient when it comes to farming the ice golems for the three frost cores since you can also get the ice feather from them for one of the best sets of wings obtainable from the very start of hardmode. melee also has the perk of being able to use flasks for extra enemy debuffs, and ichor is definitely one of the best. tl;dr: the best melee weapons are actually just ranged weapons disguised as melee
Two things could be happening with the regen, considering natural regen is seperate from the regen buffs/status effects im sure say regen potions would still work, as well as the campfire and heart lamp because they arent character based regen effect caused from a hidden stat on your character, but are outside effects.
If you ever feel like you need a ton of food (to negate hunger), you can make a bunch of tea cups. They only require 1 bottled water, and their crafting station (tea pot) only requires 12 clay and 12 bones (also it has to be made in the furnace)
Answer its buffs that allow you to heal as I understand it bleeding just sets your normal regen to 0 while something like honey adds new regen to the 0 think off it as 2 x 0 + 1 2 is your base 0 is the bleed debuff 1 is your regen buff such as campfire homey heart lantern I may need very wrong
This sounds a bit odd but if you have the bandage equipped while you leave the world and go back into it the bandage may take effect before the bleeding can be applied but that’s just a possibility, great video though loving the mod
I would love to see a calamity version of this. Make more options and just all around revamp. There would be more bosses as well as more mobs that are stronger. Just a thought… also who even cares about passive regen?????? Pots and the nurse are everything.
Honestly the Life Drain works fine against all the mechanical bosses, especially as it gives you more regen, hits multiple times and multiple targets, and hits through walls And bypasses black hole Same with the Repeaters, very decent Also, do the debuffs to you stack? Say you get -15% twice, but does it stack?
