The first few moments of Skeletron was funny, getting some chuckles out of me. But then after, I got annoyed and felt very disinterested with his antics and boss-rushing thing. It was starting to give off that feeling where he wasnt particularly interested to have a collab to begin with ( Just a feeling. Not quite sure if this would be true or not ). I dunno, this is my first video introduction of you, and I just have a hard time enjoying parts of the video because of Skeletron ^^". I dont hate the guy. Just have a hard time really feeling entertain after a while.
Skeletron was close to being an entertaining villain, and he had entertaining moments, but overall he honestly was just a jackass, and if anyone dared to get any of their well deserved clapbacks, he just threw a tantrum and cheated it in. If he had just taken the Ls when he got screwed, I think it would have been far more entertaining.
That and him turning the end into such an anticlimax shows he's not very good at YT. That's the time you put away the villain role and get the cool feel-good "we got through it all together" so everyone can have their cliche speech to end the video.

This video just makes me appreciate how chill and laid back my friends are when we play together, I actually tried to do a Calamity playthrough with someone who acted similar to Skeletron (down to even playing melee) and I could hardly stand it for one day. Props to these guys for making it to the end!

Either that or make him play Summoner and then do none of the 'optional' bosses that are pivotal to Summoner's progression.

i dont know yall or him ( Skeletron) specifically, but if i was playing a game like this and one of my "friends" did this to us, he would have been kicked from the group, once or twice is haha funny, anything after that is intentional and rude. His presence alone makes this video hard/infuriating to watch

I don't know if there will be a new whip from golem in 1.4.5 but there will be new whips from plantera and fishron which will probably fill that gap

As a person who mains summoner, I can confirm that master mode summoner is absolutely stupid hard if you don't know how to play summoner (my first pure summon playthrough was in master mode cuz I hate myself I guess)
same, first master play through was with summoned because both were new to me so I figured I'd do both, that was a TERRIBLE idea

I don't know what's going on. I tossed this idea to a friend like a week ago for a fun multiplayer challenge, then suddenly you're doing it! This has happened like 4 other times between prehardmode gear only and single biome equipment only. Its getting silly at this point. I can't wait to watch this though, you've got great videos as always!

As a summoner enjoyer, Throarbin is unfortunately right. Moon Lord as summoner is despair simulator :(
I would disagree once you get empress of light drops and potions if you need them its really not that bad
I'd recommend focusing defensive accessories (unless you are fighting daytime empress) more as summoner such as philosophers stone and reforging to warding, OOA armour is also worth considering because of its pretty insane stats
If you struggle with empress try using a maximised dps build with a flying mount then its just a matter or surviving for about a minute terraprisma is hard but with practice I think anyone could get it

ik yall said in another comment thread that it looks different edited down but this video was just nottt a good look im ngl, idk when the game host doesnt seem like theyre having a good time the entire vibe is just thrown off
This video was a rare Throarbin L. It's a fun concept, but it's the kind of challenge which needed strong teamwork to find wacky new strategies to overcome it. Instead it devolved into a slog in which one player (coincidentally the host) became so overlevelled the rest of the party became mere spectators.
If you pull ahead of the party you're supposed to use your advantage to help them, not leave them even further in the dust.
I have no issues with cheating gear in - if I kill a boss 9 times and don't get the 1/9 class drop I deserve it's getting cheated in - but cheating in the weapon which got you so far ahead without offering similar assistance to your badly underequipped teammates is selfish.
i like how within the last 17 minutes it goes from duke fishron "helping" and golem to the end of the game
I myself am doing a Master Summoner run, and early hardmode is probably the hardest part of the playthrough :,) the wolf transmutation carried my Queen slime fight fortunately.
And about why summoners like the blade staff, its the only hardmode summon that is even capable to deal damagr to airborn enemies other than he Sanguine Staff (which is harder to get than the Blade Staff) and also is an airborn mini boss

Ngl, as someone that always gets the old ones army armor, you could have used like... The explosive traps with the armor to be able to stack some traps and bring the bosses to it (and if anyone lost their legs... Well, a worthy sacrifice)

Summoner is good for accidental pvp but not as good for intentional pvp
Since I don't see it anywhere in the comments, the main reason Blade staff is super powerful is whip stacking, when you apply multiple summon tag effects to an enemy at once they go from like 11 damage a hit to 50+. This is a great in single player when you can loop bosses, less good in multiplayer and horrific in PvP as you can't go near to have good whip uptime.

You asked alot how summoners even accomplish playing the game. I have a couple answers.
1 is gear. You were basically extremely under geared for most of the playthrough. Since summoners kinda have their own path for getting upgrades and accessories, it makes it hard to acheive any of it when your are being rushed through half the game at an astronomical level, so you were basically fighting the endgame boss with little to no buffs and pretty much early hardmode gear.
2 is the squishiness. Dont get me wrong summoners are very fun to play. I basically go summoner with every playthrough. When you actually have the time(or help) to gather your gear you can basically completely afk most of what the game has to offer outside of bosses of course. And in bosses you essentially just focus on dodging and throw in some whip strikes when its safe to and learn the boss untill you kill it faster than it kills you. The problem here is that you also have 3 other sources of damage you can take that have zero attack patterns(the other players). And since this is a game where the player tends to deal alot more damage than their survivability comparatively, you tend to go poof more often then not, and since your minions dont target players in pvp, it makes you easy prey to menaces… you basically were set up for faliure in this run. I am sorry😔

One thing I thought of for the wormhole problem is to have everyone on a different team to avoid someone who is on low health having to change to red team like you guys had it, so you can always teleport to someone without them switching.

Honestly I can see this being an interesting way to like, "balance" multiplayer. Because everyone knows Multiplayer is hilariously easy.
Really it just needs a mod so that you can still Teleport to others but keep the Friendly Fire.

Pro Tip: Bring Spelunker potions for Life Fruit. Instead of spending a half hour per, you'll mine for ten minutes and have like fifty.
The key to master summoner is…. warding all the warding and iron and endurance potions lol
Average session in ~~Left 4 Dead 2~~ Terraria:
Francitron: Most Friendly Fire incidents, tends to kill as soon as the chance arrives, surprisingly professional. Racks up the most deaths during first chapter.
Billroarbin: The old guard who takes it the hardest way, also "What the hell are you doing, Skellytron?" kind of a guy everytime Skellytron 'overreaches'. Also racks up the most deaths during latter chapters.
Louiwyeeett: The optimistic dude who loves their ~~pills~~granite.
Zoey-Toasty: Obviously the one having the least visible, but still significant, contribution.
The reason that the blade staff is great is its hit speed. Even with the decrease, it is still incredible to use for whip stacking, due to the incredible hit speed.
The reason the blade staff is so good is because it ignores immunity frames, the terraprisma does as well

You just have terrible accesories, that's why you don't deal that much dmg, and kaleidoscope would be very usefull, plus whip stacking gives you insane dps
whip stacking is the kind of thing that makes me play worse because I'm thinking too much about optimizing the stacks

What music does Throarbin use for the boss fights? He uses a few songs that are pretty metal but they also have a lot of flutes. They sound similar enough that I assume they're all from the same mod, but I can't find them in any of the playlists he puts in his descriptions.

I dont get the hate skellytronn is getting in the comment section, this seems really fun, and wyeeett literally said its not that bad, the way its cut down just makes it seem worse and everyone had their fun in the end. I'd even argue that skellytronn got one of the worse fates here seeing how he and wyeeett spent 20 minutes fighting fishron only to die because of two goobers getting everyone killed while trying to hit fishron for the treasure bag.
