Did anyone else feel such deep sadness about this house? It was like this home gave off the sadness of the previous owners and the tragedy they endured.
I could also feel the sadness of the previous owners wife. The sadness she endured . Having to say goodbye to her love and to give up her beautiful home. ❤
The fact that u add a scripture at the beginning of every video is amazing! The world needs more people like u in it Bankz! Much love from Tennessee ☺️
This one was definitely heart-breaking. I imagine the widow walking through the house, looking at the dreams still in boxes. No wonder she had to leave. It must have been unbearable.
This is sooooo heartbreaking! My husband and i sold our beautiful dream home with acreage and stable in 2014. The family that bought it had a father who was a doctor and he got brain cancer and died 😢😢 luckily the lady had parents and siblings that moved into our guest house so they were able to stay there. When we found this out i cried and cried. Our home like this one was built with so much love. I literally prayed over every doorway and window for protection of the home & our family with Gods angels of protection. It broke my heart the gentleman couldn't enjoy the home but his wife and daughters as far as i know still live in my beloved house that like this one was built with love❤❤
That Thunderbird was wild! That is one of my favorite Thunderbirds. It's always amazing to me to see how much stuff people think they need. They bought all that stuff and no one is enjoying it except us just looking at it. There's a scripture that says store up treasures in heaven where moth and rust does not consume. The treasures in heaven are our good relationship with Jehovah and the good works we have done to further Kingdom interests. When I see places like this, it always reminds me of that scripture. Incidentally, my living room was that green color when I first painted it. I guess it was fun for them to fill their new home with all the things that interested them and made their home feel special. When I finally was able to have a new home and I put a certain decoration on the wall and I thought it was beautiful, I cried. I couldn't believe I had such a beautiful home or at least I thought it was beautiful. As always, thank you for all the places you take us.❤
It's like the upstairs was going to be for grandkids. This, for me, is the saddest one yet. It's like she just walked away from the situation brokenhearted.....😢 Would love to know more of their back story. Absolutely love the heart ❤️ pond. Wish you would have shown a little more of it. 😢
I agree with everybody...this house is one of the most beautiful houses i have ever seen. Why..wasn't most of the stuff taken wherever the lady went. I hope someone can buy this house so it doesn't get demolished. I would love this house.. thank you for this gorgeous find!!
Big Banks I usually do not comment but this house was so beautiful I could not help myself. It's such a shame that no one is living in this house. The items left in there would be worth thousands of dollars not counting the Thunderbird that would be a collector's dream car. Thanks for sharing and take care and stay safe.
How sad that a bank would foreclose on such a beautiful home and let it deteriorate like that. They should have sold it for what they could have gotten out of it and written off the rest of the debt. It's has such a heartbreaking story behind it. 😢
Am watching in my tv I subscribe in premium. What a horrible day started but with you your scriptures in the bottom you are clueless of how much joy you bring. Thank you thank you❤
This is one of my favorite homes so far. Whlle the decor is not my personal style, clearly this couple had good taste and could buy the finer things in life, and they had a sense of humor, and certainly planned for family and friends to gather here. I'm sure they would have been wonderful hosts. They put so much love into this place. I feel sad for them that they were unable to see it all come together. Oh, the good times that would have been enjoyed in that home, and the love shared, had things worked out differently. You did a nice job on this one, thank you for the tour and the warm feeling it inspires despite the sadness.
Floor to ceiling gorgeousness!! So much stuff, lovely interesting stuff left behind, so sad, oh and that Thunderbird! Thx for a very interesting tour xx
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW ANYONE COULD ALLOW THIS PROPERTY TO GO INTO DISTRESS LIKE THIS. I REMEMBER THIS HOUSE WHEN IT WAS FIRST ABANDONED AND NATURE WAS STILL OUTSIDE. THIS IS A SIN TO LET THIS FALL INTO RUIN.
So beautiful home and so sad they never got to live out their lives together Beautiful furniture and antiques Car looks brand new in garage Love so much about this beautiful home Thank you for sharing it See you in next video ❤❤❤❤
You mentioned in the office about banks, youre absolutely correct, i worked for a business that dealt with banks foreclosures for 3 and half years and they do not care for the home, so mostly how it works from my experience is you get the house on a list and youneither go to the home and do a forced entry because people who used to live there would lock the doors andnyoure thenfirst person in since they left, some homes are cleaned out completely and some are most definitely not with everything left behind, some homes destroyed from weather and squatters and some homes completely normal with a few things that need fixed, we would clean out the home of all debree and then clean the house the best we could and then fix any water leaks and winterize the home, mow and clean up thenyard the best we could and then every so often go back and mow and check on them, the storys ive heard from neighbors are pretty wild, and some storys are pretty normal, like this house, to say the least it was the wilest job ive ever had and have been in a very large number of homes i cant even count across 4 states, this was when the foreclosure boom hit america at one of its hardest over 10 years ago, so with that said, the problem is banks dont pay the company you work for for awhile its not a quick turn around rate on every home or depending on the bank you work for so work can be scarce and up and down, everyday work for sure but not alot if thats makes sense, usually get to 1 or 2 houses a day at best, and i believe the reason alot of the homes you have showed and what ive watched on your channel, people are not keeping the homes maintained for the bank , because either they arent paying enough for a company to want to keep it up or those types of business are not as popular because the way the bank pays you, it can take awhile for the baank to pay you, andnif youbhave employees they dont get paid much to do this work, it really sad ,so then it sit like this for a total of like 645 days before it can be put up for sale from the bank, during that time alot of things can happen, or nothing will happen at all and ive experienced all those situations, some pretty bad ones actually and then nothing at all, it just sits there and is empty and no vandalism or any damage...
That is so interesting to hear how the foreclosure process works and your experience with it! There’s no telling how many abandoned houses there are out there because of the banks not caring for them properly
I remember seeing this house on a video done by JeremyXplores last year. Its kind of cool to compare how much more overgrown it had become since then. Great video.
It always is beautiful places that you all explorer but this one right here is touched my heart I pray that the lady and her family is so blessed and all that they do 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for the beautiful and heartfelt way you bring us this story. I was heartbroken for the widow from the very beginning. I love your videos! Keep them going!
Beautiful home. There is enough furniture in that house to make mine look brand new. It’s crazy why family never took anything from the house but left it all to just waste away. Great video
The Thunderbird is in awesome condition. I try to find old cars to fix and restore as a side gig hobby. I've never seen a barn find in that good of condition.
Someone has lived in this house since 2014. The electricity is still on as the oven light is flashing. The refrigerator is running and the Cokes and freezer items are not 10 years old. It is a beautiful home but there is obviously more to this story since its original abandonment.
I first imagined they was just keeping it cut for hay. What beauty! MY QUESTION IS ," WHAT HAPPENED TO ELLA SINCE LOOKS LIKE HER BELONGINGS WAS AUCTION AS WELL"?
There is no need for anyone to be homeless, sleeping on streets or in tents with all of these abandoned houses. I would clean out a room and putting me some camping gear in there and go for what I know. Until I’m discovered and then on to the next abandoned house.
Beautiful house, just a shame to see it sit, loved the car!!!! The clock that was twisted or curved reminds me of the clock in beauty and the best. A lot of cool collectibles!!! The spinning wheel is used to spin wool into yarn and that is a gorgeous wheel at that. thank you for sharing!!!!🙂🙂🙂
One of them definitely had a soft spot for "Beauty and the Beast". The wonky clock (Cogsworth Clock) the teapot collection (Mrs Potts & Chip), the wardrobe (Madame de Garderobe) bed frame upstairs. I'm sure there are more things around, but those stood out to me!
The organ was an old pump organ. My aunt had one. You would use the foot pedals to generate the winds and then use the different stops open or closed to generate sounds that sounded like different instruments.
I’m in tears with this tragic story. How the wife must have felt. So hard to imagine that it’s been abandoned so long. Thanks Big Bankz for this tour. Wish there was an update on what has happened or what’s in store for this beautiful place. ❤😢😊
Someone commented below that this property was featured by JeremyXplores a year ago, It was sad to hear him say Ellie only ceased making payments to the property in 2020., the year covid began. I hope Ellie was able to find somewhere else to live and call home during this dreadful period.
This is such a sad family tragedy! I can definitely understand her not wanting to live there, but I might want to stay bc it was his dream to give her something from his love for her! It is really a sad story!!
Absolutely gorgeous and Wow what a beautiful interior of this place especially the kitchen it gave me cold chills. Every room was unique and beautiful and I love the nutcracker he is cool. It was an old couple ready to retire. The husband was a doctor & just found out he had cancer. He passed away quickly. But the wife couldn't afford the house. The bank foreclosed it.
Gorgeous place!!! Sooo sad about a dream gone due to health…& to be a Dr too 😔😥 I know that the bank has this property in foreclosure! However, they don’t have custody of the property! The children should take the contents of the property, sell, donate or gift it, to prevent it from going to waste😔😥 The bank should repair this property then they could definitely get their money out of it 👍 Thank you Carter for another spectacular adventure of this amazing but sad property!!! I truly enjoyed it 👍🙏❤️
Just found you tonight and I really enjoy your explores! The organ is called a pump organ. It's not electric. It's powered by your feet on the pedals below. That's a classic!
You could feel all the emotions of this house. From the love that was put into building it and the thought process behind it. To the sadness from the loss. The dreams of what could have been are all over this place but yet you can feel the void. I feel so bad for them that this is what became of their lives. I bet the husband is still attached to this house, that’s why you feel all the emotions. 😢
This story was very sad to me. We always think we have all the time in the world but then things happen to change our perspective. Material possessions are what we all crave but the love of another is the most treasured thing we can have. We have to be happy with what we have today, tomorrow and always. I’m showing my age here but I did get to ride in a convertible Thunderbird once around the 60,s looked very much like the one in the garage. It was awesome and I felt very much like the cat’s meow! Lol
I was born and raised in Tennessee and our weather isn’t super harsh…so hopefully that’s the reason for most of their furnishings and structures not being damaged, other than the vegetation which IS common in Tennessee…the humidity is so hard on outdoor fans. This is a beautiful home yet incredibly sad story, so hopefully there’s family somewhere out there that can claim it and make it what the Dr and his wife envisioned it to be. The Thunderbird is so, so pretty…I live in the Smoky Mountains and the car shows that visit us would shiver at the site of that beautiful car 🥰 and it’s a powder blue ‘62 and the big wheel is a spindle
Love watching your videos it kinda sad to see alot of these house being forgotten and fall to the ground because know one lives in them any more on your last vido i love the part where you was talking about Hertz doughnuts 🍩 good place to get doughnuts.

People are amazed by this house, I can't wait to see my in heaven. That's the real deal to me. I don't own nothing here. And that is fine.
That’s exactly what it reminds me of too!

The Thunderbird is a 1961 model, first year for that style. Really nice condition. Air conditioning and power windows.

He said it was foreclosed on and the bank decided to keep the power on. I assume to help keep it up better if air is flowing

Yeah that's a good idea, but the only downside is wilderness and potential Spiritual activity 😅
90% of people who are homeless are by choice. Give them a home and they'll destroy it worse in a week than time would do in 30 years.
Usually homelessness is a choice made by people continuing to make bad choices and this house would be trashed by homeless people.

What a sin that the bank is committing. To let such a beautiful house rot away with all the beautiful things inside
That Thunderbird car has to be saved beautiful. The story behind this house is very interesting and sad
Omg this is so sad! I have to wonder why the family didn’t clean out and sell.
Thank you Big Bankz!😊
BigBankz, you did a BEAUTIFUL job filming and narrating this wonderful home. Kudos to you.
beautiful you are so amazing at doing this I love this
Could’ve been filled with joy and the sounds of a family… life can be cruel.
Very beautifull house and sad story 😢
Wow. I am sure they are together. With our lord. ❤ Good people with love . Bless them.
