Gerardo is my ceramics professor at LBCC. He's really open and is always glad to repeat himself to those who have a hard time catching up, or understanding. Today he walked us through the basic glazing process, his lecture was detailed and he answered all questions and even gave a demonstration of the process with some of his pieces.
Ceramics is a way of life, and being open is a large part of that. You're very fortunate to have him as an instructor, but I can tell you already know that. ) Please let Gerardo know that his work is reaching far and wide. "Being a potter is like a tree, although are roots are centered, our branches go every witch way." I Like Trains, all the best in your artistic journey. :))
Your work!!!!! I am still trying to find my voice, as I simultaneously figure out how to portray the times in which we live. Thank you for your inspiring video!

What about "China Clay"?

The actual name of that clay is Kaolin. "China clay" is a nickname.
@@heatherbrowning3203 as much as I love your comment, kaolin is from gaolin, china so it's still a place lol haha
He's talking about the general material of clay. Of course there are different types from different places.
