Wonderful plane indeed. Responsive like a light aerobatic aircraft and able to take off in a few metres. I fly one on floats and it still outperforms in handling capabilities almost every GA plane I flew in! Great video!
The Savannah is popular all over the world except North America because there you have the Zenith 701 which is basically the same plane, both planes having a bit of a history in common.
Thanks. I like both! For ease and speed of building, large luggage space, go Bushcat. For ultimate STOL performance go Savannah. If I had to choose, I'd probably go Savannah taildragger.
I'm not familiar with the 740, I assume it's the Savannah VG? I don't have straightforward answer but as best I can find online the VG cabin is 42" wide or 1.06m, the S is 43" or 1.09m and the XL is 45" or 1.16m. I can't find info about bubble doors, might be aftermarket changes.
Nice landings Jaco. I love the Savanha.
Thanks. Can't call it skill, the Savannah just lands that easily.
Love the Savannah, hoping to do the intro and type rating soon

Thanks. Yeah absolutely, a great design and certainly one of the best light sport aircraft

Indeed. ICP used to produce Zenith on license if I am not wrong.
@@theaeronaut-channel In fact, the story is a little more complex. You should maybe "google" the names Christophe Heintz and Maximo Tedesco. 🙂
@@vzmax will do! 🙂
What was the engine and prop combination that he was so enthusiastic about? Appears to be a Rotax 912 with a Warp Drive prop.
912 with the E-Props
Nice video and nice plane! I'm thinking about buying a kit. Do you prefer the Savannah S to the Bushcat?

Thanks for this! How wide is Savanna 740 ccabin? Same as the Savanna S.
Bubble doors option for both?

Could you let me know the sun visor information installed in cockpit of Savannah S?
I'm not sure. Maybe try ICP or one of the Savannah dealers.
Hou ook baie van die Savannah..
Lig net die voorwieletjie en wag. Eintlik taildragger in disguise.
