The spirited Western stars Kevin Kline, Scott Glenn, Kevin Costner, and Danny Glover as four unwitting heroes who cross paths on their journey to the sleepy town of Silverado. Little do they know the town where their family and friends reside has been taken over by a corrupt sheriff and a murderous posse. It's up to the sharp-shooting foursome to save the day, but first they have to break each other out of jail, and learn who their real friends are.

One of the best movies that is highly underrated. Great cast, musical score, cinematography and story.
Too bad there aren’t any like it anymore
In fact, they made it because "there aren't any more like it anymore".
i'm a harsh critic and i love this movie, " JAKE fell off a horse"?
This movie will always be dear to me. When I was 4-5 (1985) my mom wanted to see it so of course I went with her to the show.
Silverado - One of the best westerns ever!
Silverado is superior to Pale Rider 😊.
I still thinking the best acting was Kevin Kline’s beard. Magnificent!
I love the way Costner plays his character in this flick.
I know right? It's so weird for me to see him so young and enthusiastic
One of my favorite westerns. Loved watching this with my grandpa. His favorite part was when Paden finally got to get Cobb.
Scott glen is so underrated.
Wow, the way Costner dismounted that horse was pretty impressive
It's the last thing he ever did that wasn't in slow motion
The action sequences were next level. All of the actors in this movie seemed well rehearsed in horse riding and gun play.
" 'Bye Cobb."
"Goodbye Paden."
Such a fantastic bit of dialogue.
Too bad we don’t see movies like these being made anymore 😢😢😢
I always wanted a sequel to this. Best western ever made.
Silverado is a classic. Equal to the Dollars Trilogy.
One of my all-time favorites! Definitely top ten, maybe even top five!
Last shootout had all the classic cinematic elements. The church and the town behind the good gun fighter, the desert and emptiness behind the bad guy. The woman is between them. Classic.
Too bad there was never a sequel. "Return to Silverado."
I mean, the name is just *right there* , perfect.
Yeah, but my character was killed so....
“We’ll be back!”
Some stories are best left as they are.
Boa noite pessoal, um meus Filmes favoritos, hoje em dia já não se fazem filmes tão bons assim, infelizmente.
What is really startling to me is seeing a real young Kevin Costner
His part got cut out of The Big Chill that's what led to this role. This was his brake out
he was fine
I thought Linda Hunt was great in this. But then, thats her standard.
Best role for Jeff Goldblum EVER.
Kostner guns go off pointed down but hits them in the chest. Wowsa.
I noticed the same thing a long time ago.
RICOCHETS ARE REAL
Love movies like this!
This movie is made of so much awesome! Best cast, cinematics that blow your socks off (thanks to Lawrence Kasdan; he of Empire Strikes Back fame), and that last scene! Superb!
Notice the white church behind Paden and desert behind Cobb. Paden has right on his side, Cobb has desolation and nothing.
Similar shot to High Noon with Gary Cooper.
Precisely
My favorite film of all time.
Love the music in this classic
Brian Dennehy was a real POS in this movie. He played it so well, too.
RIP
Brian Dennehy
(1938-2020)
Denney was a superb actor who play almost any personality.
Wow I loved this movie. I knew it had a great cast. But almost ever character on screen was once or twice a leading man in other great movies as well.
Costner’s best performance, ever.
For me, Costner's best performance in a Western is "Free Range." Better than even "Dances With Wolves," in my opinion.
A great film. Enough said.
5 Stars
I played Conrad (Rosanna Arquette's husband) in this film.
Thanks for being apart of this great movie
me too
I didn't have a stand in. The only stunt I didn't do was after my character dies and is put on his horse and was taken down the hill. None of the actors did performed in that scene only stunt doubles.

Hey! I played yer grandpappy!
The one who didn't trust anyone and was shot dead?
Kevin Kline.... My hero for marrying Phoebe Cates.....
I don't say this about much Hollywood fare. Great movie. Great cast. Great ending.
Good scene with Kevin.
I do love this whole sequence for the amount of storytelling it does with so few lines of dialogue. It's the sign of a movie that's done its setup for all these payoffs right.
Wonderful movie
A great movie but defies realism on so many levels
I remember seeing this in the theater. The opening, with Emmet in the shack, was completely unexpected and awesome!
Goodbye Cob....
Goodbye Paden....
Well that was fun
The most satisfying Death in this entire clip from the movie Silverado was ' Jeff Goldblum's character ' , seeing him knifed was glorious . Slick dying the way that he was meant to . Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park , How many installments of the movie before his character was even likeable ? Jeff Goldblum the actor we all wanted to Die in every movie he ever acted in , At least in Silverado we seen him get his just desserts .
Into The Night
Lol after the horse jump. The bad guy did the Family Guy arm twist.😂
One of my favorites. That opening scene was incredible 👍🏻
One of my favorite westerns. But, after not finding Jake downstairs, they just left, without checking upstairs.
Once again, multi-shot revolvers with more than six rounds and not using black powder rounds. Interestingly, though, that when Kline fires through the homestead window, they were using .22 rounds to get a better sound.
Tombstone and Unforgiven killed movies like these thankfully
By using 'killed' as a compliment, I would add "Pale Rider" to the list.
Agreed?
(if so, then you get a [👍])
Kline's beard rules, but it does make him look like sweet man rather than a badass XD
"Kelvin" Kline? haha
8:20 -- Cobb draws first, then Paden starts his draw about 1/6 of a second later.
An honest Sheriff draws last. However it wasn't (in the day) the fastest it was the most accurate.
Why would you ruin the ending like that with a sequel?
Why do they never water their horses?
Pretty good but obviously the smoke from Kevin Klein's gun was WAY OFF from both guns hitting either Brian Dennehy. or Kevin Klien. But a pretty good scene all in all.
As the movie clearly demonstrates, the old West was frequently troubled with RIDE BY SHOOTINGS.😜
Who TF is Kelvin Kline?
Fun
Kelvin?
YOUR WEARING MY HAT
Wow, that church sure looked fake.
But, maybe I am wrong.
✌️
DUDE. It's a MOVIE SET - it's ALL fake.
and it was blown up for the wild wild west movie
Tumble weeds on hire from Westerns Inc.
Hunt as some kind of love interest didn't help the movie which started out great but overly long.
It was a platonic love. Paden felt protective of her.

I'd forgotten how utterly clichéd this was
I guess for people who need to be spoon fed everything,,,,
