If you're somewhere with a lot of static and dont have a static bracelet (somewhere dry mostly, on carpet, etc) you can touch a grounded case, or even plug in a PSU (so its grounded directly through an outlet) and discharge to the outer chassis

He's probably using old peripherals and will upgrade those later. Either way, 144hz is good enough to play csgo.

I think jumping from 144hz to 240hz wouldn’t make that much of a difference in csgo since the game’s movement is slow.
However, you could take advantage of 240hz if you were to play fast movement games like overwatch or quake.

Thats ok none of these specs will last any longer than your regular RTX 2060 and ryzen combo. Fact is, buy yourself a nice used GTX 1060, i5-6600K and youll get good results for MUCH MUCH cheaper. In fact, even his 2TB ssd modules were overpriced and just proves this man doesnt know much about computers but the normie stuff... Meh if it wasnt for people like him tech wouldnt be getting more powerful so :/ cant have everything

There's nothing wrong with air cooling. It's more about doing it right.
Air cooling is actually better than liq.cooling - the only problem with the air cooling is the big fan is not made for transporting your pc alot.

@C Noctua makes the best coolers, yet they're still cheaper than AIOs. Considering price I think the comparison was fair, and the average consumer is not going to mess with any settings either. Bang for your buck and for convenience, air cooling is simply better.
@@jellevm liquid cooling is better if it is done right - its simple thermodynamics. The reason why lots of liquid systems fail is because the medium is unable to cool down quickly so it ends up being worse than just simple air with sufficient airflow.

@@mupsoftaren I personly use 2 different sens', one for shooters and such, and a higher one for games that I don't flick shot and stuff in. It just makes me comfier, but that makes sense.

Did you load the XMP 2.0 profile in the BIOS so your RAM runs at 3466 and not 2133? It'll raise ur frames more and maybe hit over 1k frames in the corner
And overclock that cpu, stock it runs at 5ghz but should be able to go higher without getting to hot
YT Games it doesn’t run 5GHz on all cores...
Also 5GHz is kinda hard to get on the NH-D15 so maybe 4.8ish GHz would be max..

@@TheMasterOfSafari sure? I thought I read the base oc speed was 5 ghz. I see it's quite a lot but don't think it's untinkable. Haven't looked into it that much though. Only in the overclocking of my own (i5-7600k) I could get that from 3.8ghz to 4.6ghz on all cores while staying bellow 70 Celsius with a hyper 212 evo cooler. Figgured something like that should be possible with the i9-9900k with his noctua cooler.
He already figured out the XMP issue according to twitter.
As for the 5ghz...yes...but not. Intel's "Turbo Boost" overclocking technology doesn't quite do what you'd expect it to. As it pushes closer to that 5ghz maximum, fewer and fewer of the cores are actually overclocked. That 5ghz is with a single core - Which for CS specifically actually is all he needs, since it is really, really poorly built.
@@TheMasterOfSafari my 9900k with a 360mm AIO can run at 5.1 Ghz with a high voltage and abserd temps. I toned it down to 4.9ghz and a low voltage nd now my cpu wont go above 70 degree celsius

War Owl, when installing those M.2's, there should be riser screws included with your motherboard so the M.2 doesn't bend downwards. ✌
Also, you should have just got a USB interface for sound.
ALSO, ALSO there is a certain setting you have to disable to get higher fps in CSGO. I remember having to do it with my 1080. I can't remember if it was in the Nvidia control panel or CS itself. You should be getting much higher fps with that setup. Sorry I can't be more specific.

Yes please. The latest PTGI shaders in particular that actually cost money.The creator only made the SEUS 1.0.0 renewed shaders for free sadly and they don't look as good.

They are not rtx shaders. They are ray tracing shaders. They work with older graphics cards now.

i use mine all the time, i wouldn't buy a case without drive bays as at least an option.
@@DueM That's the reason I bought a Fractal Design Define R6 instead of a Define C or Meshify C even though it is completely overkill and I only have an mATX mainboard. I also just dig the simple design of fractal cases so over manufactures weren't that much of an option for me.

I have a laptop that doesn’t have a battery so i always have it plugged in and it only has 4gb of ram ddr3 and i have my laptop settings are on “maximum performance” its still slow and it shuts down due to over heating so i have to put a fan directly at it which annoys ppl i play with due to the noise.
P.S. Why r we fighting for this?

same, my pc runs pretty much any game just fine, but the cpu bottlenecks it hard so I can't really record or stream like I want to

Power supplys that are far over the needed wattage of the system don't draw significantly more electricity. They do by a very small amount depending on the power supply
The ax1500's have the best efficiency at 50% load so he's not wayy off that thing is probably what 500 watts full load? but hell we are talking about a 2% efficiency difference worst case using like 100 watts.

put the nvme drive into the socket closest to the cpu, but look at the layout of the board to trace the wiring back to the cpu. if it goes through anything before it reaches the cpu (ie, pcie) then try find one that doesnt. make that one ur boot drive.

@@Colton_Harpole Yeah, AMD beat themselves with the new Threadripper CPUs, which are now some of the best consumer CPUs on the market. Didn't age well how exactly?
He was talking about high core clock speeds which the 9900k is still faster and a little better for gaming.

@@MysterioTGN Okay pulling out stats from literally nowhere. I'm not bought out or anything the 3950k is a beast of a cpu but it just isn't the very best when it coming to gaming performance. The 9900k will almost all of the time have high average frames and better lowest frame % rates because of having higher clocking speeds. The 3950 will run circles around the 9900 when it comes to cpu rendering, multi core programs, and multitasking. But most video games don't take advantage of all those extra cores and threads. In the next few years with the newer console systems having more core counts games will be better optimized to use more cores so there will be even more benefit of choosing ryzen and such.
I love building new pcs, recently upgraded mine.
I used to have that exact cooler but on a i5 4960k and my temps would be high.. you should keep a keen eye on your temps running that cpu, especially considering how hard it is going to work and if you plan to play csgo with max fps. My new build will run 4/500 fps but i only have a 144hz monitor so i limit my fps in console to 200, it halves cpu usage and keeps temps down

In the U.S. the i9 9900k is 484 USD and the 12 core Ryzen 3000 costs 499 USD.
At least it works. Don't know about the newer gen, but a few buddies and I opted for gen 1 ryzen and we've had nothing but strange issues since, i.e., freezes, stutters, etc. Speed is one thing, but consistency another.
Don't believe in everything you hear on UA-cam. I9 still beat amd. And when ryzen is released, Intel releases ice lake, so the got closer but are still behind. But hopefully ryzen 3 will make Intel go turn up their Hz and boost even more performance for the future.

The bane of PC building, something inevitably will be broken and cause you so much frustration, but in the end, you feel good.

When the cooler is more expensive than your pc :(
Some professional pc builders have to place the second cpu cooler fan off center and it works fine. The thermal improvement from 2 vs 1 fan on the NH-D15 is minor anyway.
Dont forget about power settings, set them to ultimate performance, enable xmp profile, and with thaty cooler you could get a decent cpu overclock going.
