👋 Hi Justin and Tamika and it's wonderful to see you use your magic talented cutting skills again Justin! That little crystal opal was a very pretty thing indeed👋💎👍❤. Greetings to you all at BOD from a -11 degrees C cold Landskrona, Sweden!
I hope you make more videos for us soon Justin! Very fun video. Bummed about the big knobby that just was so stubborn. Loved the diamond! And love crystals...my favorite!
Hood River, Oregon perfect for being stuck in the house on top of the 15cm of snow the last few days we expect 10 cm of snow then 80kmh winds and 2cm of freezing rain. As long as the power stays on I can catch up with my favorite channel. Wish I could make it down there to Tucson..
I love your program , Justin. I am an October lady. My two favorite stones are the black oal and the ruby. I am from Wisconsin with an October 14th birthday.
Thank you so much for making these videos. My new obsession began with a Christmas gift for my mum. What do you get the girl who has everything? The one thing she believes is bad luck to buy herself - an opal~! Thanks to your videos, I was able to compile a beautiful opal collection, including some of my own hand polished opals as a gift to my mum. These videos are educational, entertaining, and fun. Many thanks!
Hi Opal Guru, watching the opals emerge under your expert hands is addictive and a real learning experience. Makes me want to get into rock/crystal/opal lapidary work. I’m keen but no stones haha😂
It shows you just how slow you really have to train your brain into slowing down because was it comes off there is no going back and picking up the pieces so great educational video on your part on teaching patience and under standing opal have great day
Justin, you are getting to me. I was sitting in my armchair this morning, having a cup of black coffee. I held a slice off of a sourdough loaf, thinly buttered and folded in half. I started nibbling at the crust, and sipping my coffee. Once the crust was completely consumed I started nibbling at the corners and the ragged edges, making it more even. I turned it over and nibbled at the edges of the other side, until the sides of my little sandwich matched exactly. Then I realized I had cut a perfect oval. I think I am in trouble… I am not a lapidarist! What has watching your channel done to me? 😳
Real life interrupted my seeing this live!!!! Ah well at least I get to see your smiling faces now!!! Happy New Year!!! Hello from Colorado!! It is SO cold 11 below zero Ferinhiet. Really cold, my hubby's truck stalled and we are waiting for a tow truck.... COLD!!! ❄️
Thanks for another fun session. Justin, you are such a knowledgeable artist. Thanks for sharing your time and talents. I wish I was able to participate in your gig, but I don't do Instagram. Looking forward to your next video.
Very nice work. I know you work so hard to get that perfect cut and color. I see how all those little imperfections can really screw things up. I enjoy your videos a lot. Keep up the good work.
I was in the gold coast last week , the whole city is like people from Penrith and Hawkesbury were asked make a fair/showground city. Especially with that Dracula building
A nice return for the new year 👌 🙂 The last one was gorgeous colours. ..i hope it comes out well and you can show us how it finished...👍👍👍 Those dark greens with the blood red ...a nice Xmas opal ...
I loved watching you cut and polish your 0pal some nice little ones come out of it a few thousand awesome mate well done anyway i have subscribed to your channel and i will be watching all the best kind regards Gregory Lee from Melbourne Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🙂👋
What an awesome workout. Really liked last piece 'cause it challenged you. You didn't get flustered/upset, you just re-assessed, and pulled the 🐰 out of the hat. Or is it a chicken dinner? 😂 Well done Maestro, well done.
I do custom leather work. I have put several different stones in beaded belts I make. It would be interesting to be able to put a couple of opals in one.
The beautiful play of green blue colour always reminds me of aerial photography of the Great Barrier Reef. Question please Justin: When you dream Green Blue opal colour at night do you dive into the Great Barrier Reef Green Blue opals and catch Coral Trout or Spanish Mackerel or Giant GT's or Blue Marlin ?
speaking of being able to see what you're doing... have you seen the video on the opal mills in which Phil cut a stone blindfolded? i must say great results for the 1st live of '24! hopefully i'll be able to catch more of the future live posts...well, live! ✌️🐝➕
Tucson celebrates the beauty of geyms, fossils and minerals over the last days of January and first two weeks of February. Valentines Day is when we finally relax and share our treasures with others. Please come and enjoy!
Working your way into delight or disappointment. I love that as it truly describes the life of an Opal cutter.
