Justin Thank you for your videos, expertise and time. There is no better opal artist online. I look forward to being able to work with you in the future.
Wow I'm pretty new to this😊 but I've always loved looking for rocks and always collected them but these stones in this video is just breathtaking beautiful I'm just literally Blown Away very beautiful❤❤
Hey Dave! The guy that was standing next to you when you were filming the world's best Rose Quartz crystal is Bruce Bridges! He's the owner of Scorpion Mine and Bridges mining concessions, and he's the son of legendary geologist Campbell Bridges, the discoverer of Tsavorite. :)
You can't beat the awesome beauty of a black opal. Sorry you didn't get to show more of them at Justin's Black Opal Direct stand. Love his channel, and have spent more hours than I can count watching him bring these black beauties to life. Sensational opals!
WONDERFUL YOU WENT TO TUCSON!!!!! You are awesome and , Black Opals my favorite ,the colors, so brilliant with each layer some new is revealed!Just so amazing. Glad I found you on utube!!!!
Crystals are the most underated thing in the world. They are literalky the prettiest thing that exists in the world and they all come straight from the earth
I look at these incredible Opals and they take my breath away. I take a giant pause in their beauty. To me, my impression is as if I am looking at the burst of creation, the moment of the Big Bang, the spark that generated our world. Yep, that is what Opals look like to me.
LOVED that you interviewed the gentleman from Red Mtn Turquoise. Lots of my Turquoise friends were there. Love the high grade Nevada Turquoise. Thx for sharing again
Such a nice show I joined many times, All customers looking Beautiful items and buy whatever they like. I sell many things there from Pakistan. As a wholesaler I am very happy from Tuscan show. Long live
Like everyone I have met from Australia, you are so kind, funny and willing to share knowledge, not all but enough. Love from The United States, Nashville, TN.
I had to deposit about halfway through. He was talking about elk antler. I've never seen anything like that with elk antleror deer antler. Those buttons at the top are really neet and rare Very interesting, very cool. Not opal, but hey I live in Arizona Elk are closer lol. That chrysolite that was the stabilized material. That was used in Bagdad. My father used to work in the copper mines and some of the specimens that he brought home were amazing. I hope you read this it means everything to me that you do because this next part is about my grandmother. She was a true rockhound. For that reason, is I believe not only did I become a rockhound. I fell in love with rocks. I thank you from the bottom of my heart that you chose to air this video. If I would have known how little it was to go there I would have seen you there. I would have been your groupie lol.
@@lapidarydave Thank you for reading the whole post. Now you know why I'm glued to watching Black Opal Direct. It's kinda like fishing, it's in my blood.🤗✌️💚
I won one of Justin's (from Black Opal Direct) opal giveaways....so surprised and pleased to receive it. I had only JUST started watching his vids and put up a comment on his blog for the contest, not really expecting to win.

thx for the video Dave , that rose quartz at the end maaaaan ..I've never seen something like that in my life ! - amazing , beautiful stone ! ...If I would have it I will prob sleep it it every night and not with my wife ! :)))) , kind regards from Romania
Oh wow I just discovered black opal direct a couple weeks ago and I’ve been watching the shit out of him. I’ve never even touched cutting equipment, lol, but I like watching stones be cut. I should’ve known he’d be there, but I didn’t. I’m tempted to drive down to Tucson tomorrow to go meet him. Lapidary Dave and BOD are the only 2 lapidary channels I watch right now, bc I’m new to these types of videos, so to me this is an epic duo to see together.
Hi Dave, im also to find out more about the products used to put high quality gem and mineral cluster specimens back together? Do you know what the industry standard adhesive is ?
Justin does NOT tell everyone exactly what he pays for rough. He chooses what he wants to share, usually the highest price nuggets. Lots of drama, great cutting, and amazing potential for massive profits! And a lot of fun - especially when he dances! 😊😅
Dave, that was a pretty naive thing to say. I think (my perception) that although Justin sells his stones at full retail, even to jewelers, he is (seemingly) honest, at the very least. You could actually see him cringe a bit when you said he always tells/says/shares what he pays for his rough, etc. You, of all people, should know what the rough to sale gig is. Love your channel anyway, and always! We all make oops' 🌺
Hello 👋 sorry you have holden in your hand bold blue Opal oval form, would really love to know the price of that precious piece 🤔 Thanks 🌺 in forward 🙏 🙏😊
How much for that first black opal at 30-35 sec into video? probbly already sold but im courious!! Actually im a black opal Addict, its as expensive as cocaine but without the legal and health risk : )
not sure i believe i share there contact info if you’d like to contact them directly about the material it’ll definitely be more affordable. If you negotiate, everything is negotiable at these shows.
The piece at 38:01 with the wood base and the face and hair with dark splotches on it I wanted to know more about but fat fingers was amused with smaller things.
I use a $150 iPhone se2 and a osmo Mobil 2 The phone is not the best but works more then good enough if one was going to buy a phone for doing what I do the battery life is the most important part thin storage, not even the quality of the lens And the gimbal I use is the old Osmo too. I think they’re already on the five, but after the two they started making them slimier so that they can be folded up and they do not work as well as the old ones. The one in the two are the best you can find them online for $50 or less
As usual, a totally boring, uninteresting video showing crappy material for you to cut and polish.
😂
bahahahahahahahahaha
You just proved to the world your level of INTELLIGENCE.
@@charlesheaton3994 i loved his comment
Literal some of the best material out there
