@Stefano Pavone no,I’d love it if but was only seven in 1977. It was on a cinema near me for one night/one showing the Saturday before it’s Blu-Ray release. I also got to watch a Post Apocalyptic movie called The Domestics at the same cinema that too was one night/ one showing..on that one i was the only person in the screening so i had the entire movie to myself and it was glorious,no eating noise or peoples phones and the screen was one of those massive ones,i sat centre middle for the perfect place
Blue thunder great movie 🎬 i have it on Blu- ray DVD 📀 And I' when to the theater in1983 i was 14 years old,yes i know it was Rated R. Actually got to go in see this movie, LOl...
A childhood hero of mine since Jaws. Roy Scheider is one of the greatest actors of Cinema History & one of the most down-to-earth stars we've ever had. A great screen presence & intense performer. Blue Thunder is a Cult Classic
Looking back, Blue Thunder was such a Great Film!! Well ahead of it's time. SCHEIDER was 100% in character and ontop of his game! Awful Marketing was the reason it was not as successful as it should have been!!! Released just before Return of the Jedi!! When Blue Thunder was filmed in 1981??... why release it 2 years later up against a Star Wars film?? Poster could also have been more interesting!
Ah, when Bobby said appeals to large number of people, I remember how much I loved this movie is my adolescent years. Which ddmographic is most suitable for this kind of picture.
Always loved Roy Scheider- total class and brilliant actor.
A decent man, it shows on screen too.
Yes, a very decent man and a good actor ❤ RIP roy scheider
A great movie about the danger of giving away your privacy for security. A very relevant topic today in 2021.
One of my favorite actors. Blues Thunder does not get the credit it deserves!
I can’t believe Hollywood never saw him as a leading man. Even after Jaws they felt like that, just watch bits about Sorcerer.
@Stefano Pavone sorcerer is one of cinemas greatest thrillers and that ending wow. So glad i got to watch it on the big screen

Roy is the greatest actor of all time.

I loved that movie when I was a kid. Thanks for uploading this interview.
God, I miss him. What a great underrated actor!

1932-2008 😢😢
15 years since he is gone, gone too soon.
love this movie!
A great actor and a great movie!
I always liked Blue Thunder.
Presumably it inspired Airwolf
Uno dei più grandi attori, che abbiamo avuto. Immenso Roy

I thought that it did well in the theaters. Wasn't it in the Top 10?
@@matthewschwartz6607 It knocked “Flashdance” off the No. 1 spot apparently and was one of the most successful films that year.
It got 40. 000.000 mil so it's not entirely bad.
I remember that year in movies: Blue Thunder, Flashdance, WarGames, Return of the Jedi, Octopussy, Scarface...WHAT A YEAR!
"Its in the yarrrrd, not too farrrr from da carrrrr. ... How's that ?"

In the "Transformers" movie, the battle scene was a homage to this film! The first "Transformers" movie! The F-16's flying through Los Angeles!
Chief Brody
was 'holy Toledo' a thing back in day? because I kept hearing it in 8~90s' tv shows...😂
Presumably he did it instead of Jaws 3
There is a rumour that that is exactly what happened 😅
He never made superstardom but was always a famous character actor. He and James B Sikking should have played brothers.
