    Coming back to this video because I was thinking about a work planner! Had a lot of similar things in mind! Did you end up continuing to use this setup?

    Great takeaways from this video-thanks! I use my hospital's job description to set my goals for the year. I also use the job requirements listed online under the career tab for a job a might not currently be qualified for our ready to apply to to set my goals also. Often there are certifications needed and I can work towards obtaining those.
    Lotus notes -- LOL! I spent over 8 years in a company who was attached to their LOTUS. Solid system, but without any "modern" features. Outlook users would cry much like someone going from high-speed internet going back to dial-up. LOL

      Great idea!! Thanks for sharing that. You totally understand my pain with LOTUS lol

    Loved your video. Thank you for the inspo. I work in Corp. pharma sales and depend on so much tracking. Most of my work life is digital and on-line, especially now but I come from a pen-to-paper generation and without my notebooks and planners I could not keep up. I too have a rings planner for references and notes on customer/client interactions and scheduling out travel (non-existent at the moment) but I prefer to see birds eye view “mo2p” of my schedule. I’m just accustomed to it. I also keep a Moleskine expanded as a work bujo. I write the date on the top and go.... Much of my planning style and aesthetic is very similar to yours. I enjoy watching your videos and following you on IG. I use many of your inserts in my personal and finance planners. Love them 💕. Quick question, where did you get your dividers? They look like caffeine and paper co. But not sure.

      Thanks Linda!! Dividers are from queencitydesignsco.com/ :)

      I am very similar in the way I think. I monitor clinical drug trials. Much is tracked digitally but I have to have my paper. Usually travel weekly and need the month on two pla.

    Where do you buy your tomoe river paper? Can you buy it in bulk? I’ve purchased from paper penguin co, which I love, but I go through a lot of paper (also an atty) and I love TRP and want to keep it as cost effective as possible. TIA!

    Thank you so much for sharing! I’ve been waiting for this for a long time! What do you use for daily to dos/notes that you don’t necessarily need to archive in a specific section? Do you use your B6 stalogy for that?

    Love it! Thanks for sharing. When you used to work for a law firm, how did you track your hours? I have to do the same for my work but having trouble doing so. Thanks!

    • @smplans
      @smplans  3 роки тому +1

      At the first firm, we wrote it down on a sheet of paper, or dictated it and paralegals transcribed/input the hours into the billing software. At the second firm, we had a software that we input it in, so I would use that in real time or at the end of the day! I do not miss it but my brain is hardwired to think in 6m segments now lol
