The solution:
1. Check if your mic is a mobile one, if its a mic for mobile phones, it will surely not work on sound card, it will work on your mobile or any laptop with single aux for mic/phone.
2. get a mic that is specifically for desktop/ PC . On the mic cover, you must see a windows logo or something showing that its for PC.

Is it your jack connection problem? try to use spray contact cleaner to the audio jack.
How it is 7.1 like it seems normal 2.1 speaker setup??
This is USB SOUND CARD. It actually needs a driver to do the setup. because it's plug and play, silently install the driver by your Windows OS. Speaker doesn't need any driver.
Can USB sound card works on the desktop that has a problem with the sound? I mean literally, the problem with the desktop is no sound. In my case, my desktop cannot detect the headphones/earphone once I plugged in and when I seek help from the people who do computer repairs they said that they cannot open the speaker on the device manager they cannot install it, they recommend me to buy USB sound card. Yes, the USB sound can work with Desktop PC and Laptop, before you plug in USB sound card for installation. Disable your existing sound controller from the device manager or you also can disable it from the Cmos setting.

It's a useless sound card, gives a humming sound when you connect your mic
try to reduce your mic volume or your mic don't get near to your speaker.
Andrew SME that is not the issue, I got another sound card and it works pretty well. This sound card is useless, works well for the speaker but terribly for the microphone
@@AndrewSME I spent 5 hours working on this sound thing and getting very frustrated it does work but not in the normal way what I wanted to do was record the bible chats in the pal talk chat room while being able to talk on microphone so I will just skip to the answer when I set the stereo mix to default device without the Usb Pnp Sound Device 7.1 and it work but the bad thing was that I could only have one as a default device while not letting the other work. so if i made my internal mic the default then the stereo mix wouldn't work but if i make the stereo mix then the internal mic wouldn't work. so when I bought the Usb Pnp sound device 7.1 I tried to put the stereo mix to default but it wouldn't work. So I set the stereo mix to default communications and I set the microphone to default. now here is the tricky part get you some HP57R Basic Stereo Earbuds www.rcaaudiovideo.com/audio/ and put them on the microphone side now go to your properties on the mic volume and turn it up to 100. But if you do use a real microphone then you will have to set your mic volume between 25-50 because it will be too high. you can speak in to either one of the ear buds and they will hear you clearly so even if one gets messed up just cut that one off and use the other one so basically you have a cheap ghetto rigged microphone part.

same. my internal soundcard of the pc is faulty and doesnt work anymore and i cant buy a new one cuz they are so expensive and these usb ones are just sh!t and are hard to use. they have so many microphone problems like : buzzing/beeping noises while recording audio, cannot connect headphone mic/need to use a seperate mic, also realtek drivers are not supported and the build quality on all these usb sound cards is absolutely SH!T. and i also noticed that when i took my portable speakers to my friends house to watch a movie with him, the sound quality was sooo amazing on his pc but on my pc the speakers sound terrible and buzzy thats because he has an internal soundcard and i have a usb one. I have now decided to finally save up some money and buy an internal sound card because they are so worth it and so much better. So moral of the story: Do not buy these usb soundcards in any circumstance. Live with no sound or buy an actual INTERNAL sound card that will be much better!
Help! I bought this earlier, unfortunately, there is an echo. The sound really good but the echo is in there. How to remove the echo?
i also have an echo while using microphone with this soundcard. its literally so loud it gave me a headache and neighbours were complaining too. the only way to fix it is to install realtek audio drivers but unfortunately usb sound cards dont support realtek audio drivers. they only support the default windows drivers which are plug and play. You can mute the mic though.

try to reduce your Microphone volume. and Microphone please don't near close to Speaker. it will make a noise.

Sorry , No way. If Laptop's Sound Controller circuit malfunction. And you use this USB external Sound card. You need external speaker. Because laptop's internal speaker direct connected to LAPTOP's sound controller circuit board. Are you sure that your Sound Circuit problem or just the driver problem. If driver problem then try to reinstall it.
But what if with that card, i get sound but my mic still dead?

Did you Microphone in working condition, if you are not sure try the microphone to another system? Did you check your Mic Volume is it volume up? Did you disable your built-in sound in CMOS? Did you press the Mic Button to on it?
