Sorry to hear to hear that. That could be defective or you could be using a third party app or audio software producing that effects. So far my V8 and V8s once echo is at zero cals is flat with no reverbaration or echo.
You perhaps loves lots of reverb/echo while singing. You should set them to high when you have them. Search videos showing sample song cover using a specific sound card that you planning of buying.

I'm not sure if I'm getting what you mean. If you meant you can hear from your headphone but no audio on the recording, yes that is possible. First make sure TAPE or RECORD volume is on high. If you had set it on high and still no audio recorded, then most likely it's the phone adapter issue. I bought of my USB C and lightning adapter from the apple store coz adapter I bought somewhere else did not work.

Since I can't do live streaming yet on tiktok, have you tried increasing the Recording volume or Accompaniment volume. You can also increase the volume from your tablet.
Use the micro usb to usb A - connect micro usb to the Charge or charging port of the V8 sound card and the other end (the usb A) to a power source like a block you use for charging you phone or gadgets at your home, or you can use a portable charger or you can connect to a laptop.

Bm 800 condenser mic should work with this sound card. Other condenser mic like the high ends ones you might need an external 48v phantom power for it to work

The other device is the source of music. If you don't need a music you can use 1 device only. IF you use Starmaker or Smule you can use only 1 device. To monitor the audio, connect it from the V8S. In this video, I used the iPad as a source of music

When you buy this V8 sound card, it should come with micro usb to usb A, you will use that for charging. Connect micro usb from the charging port of the V8 while the other end-the usb A, connect to a power source like to your computer, power block you use to charge your gadgets, or power bank. To know if they are fully charged- these sounds act differently maybe coz different manufacturer , some of them power button will turn red then turn green when fully charge while some will turn red while charging then red light will turn off when fully charged.
My main question is do you have to charge the V8 before using it? How long does it take to charge? Then can you unlog the charging cable it and still works
I charged it just now and it took about an hour but it wasn’t lowbat when I changed it. So I can’t really tell you how long exactly it’ll take. When you get it, you can use it right away. But if the sound card has zero battery then you have to charge it first before using. It has a built rechargeable battery so you can use it without the cord connecting to a power source.
Connect the supplied micro usb to usb A to your computer and V8s then set sound input and output on your computer. Open camera of your computer then record.
Wether you connected it via Bluetooth or directly connected to the music input of v8s, you can control the music volume from the device itself (music source) also from the music volume knob from the v8s. Now if you are recording or streaming TAPE (or Record volume knob) has to be on high. If you connected an external speaker for home karaoke- Monitor volume slider has to be on high.

Unfortunately this kind of sound card does not have turning off monitoring feature so you will always hear your voice unless you lower your mic volume but your voice recording/streaming output will be low as well
If you are using an iPhone with lightning adapter to record, perhaps it’s the adapter issue. I also heard about phones not being compatible with sound cards but unfortunately I can’t really tell you what are those phones as I only have a few phones.
Not sure what you meant. If you meant your pc is not reading your V8S, just unplug then plug back in. Then check on your sound setting, if it shows up there.

I have same sound card at home. For the life of me I can't get the sound on my laptop wile I use it. In OBS I managed to pick up my vouce but no sounds from the sound card record. When I do my voice overs on my laptop in Microsoft clipchamp there's no sound. In my games I play no sound. I have lenovo gamimging laptop . It only hase 1 port for headphones and mic same time. My headphones also has a mic on it. When I use it by its self 100% fine. When I connect it all to my sound card I have this issue. Could you please help or advise me how to fix this issue. Thanks
Sorry if I don't know much about lenovo gaming laptop. Have you tried connecting your V8s via micro usb to usb A from the charging port of v8s to your laptop then setting the v8s as your input and output. This mean you are going to connect your headset to the headset port of v8s.
Did you make sure that when you record, the TAPE volume is on high otherwise it will not record? If you did set it to high then lightning adapter might be the issue. Please test if you have the right one like in this video ua-cam.com/video/ILQcRfj6aaY/v-deo.html

Did you use a lightning adapter for iPhone? Coz that would be a common issue. Not all adapter works, some are only for headphone for us to hear but won’t work for Recording. I bought mine from Apple Store.

Are you trying to record to an iPhone? Perhaps your lightning adapter is the issue as not all you will able to record, some are only for headphone but you won’t be able to record.
@@jenuds yes, cables are new and included in the set of soundcard when i purchased. I even tried getting music using laptop but still no backtrack. Live streaming is fine. But video recording using the same set of cables does not work.

Not sure how you connected your games with V8s. Anyway try to turn the Music volume up to hear your game sound. Unfortunately V8s does not have Monitoring on/off feature. If you lower you mic volume, your playmate will not hear. If you lower the monitor volume you will not hear your games sound and mic volume.

I don’t have Oppo phone to test. Please note you might have to buy xlr to 3.5mm cable as when I got mine it didn’t come with it - you will need it to connect to v8. Great review! Does this have some sort of noise cancellation feature built into? For context, I am planning to connect a speaker box (not a headphone) along with a microphone and some background music. Much like a live karaoke. Would this cause a noisy feedback loop?
Thanks. I can’t see a noise canceling on this unit that I have. For karaoke set up, yes connecting a big speaker is ideal. Just use a long cord or extension on the microphone so it’s not close to the speaker as it will feedback.
It depends on the mic. There are condenser mic which are corded with 3.5mm jack. Please note not all condenser mic works like Rode NT1A, Shure SM7B. BM 800 condenser mic works
Did you use phone adapter? Do this test. If yes, using the phone adapter you have try to record to your phone with a voice changer from the sound card. If your voice did not changed, then issue is the phone adapter. I bought my adapter from Apple Store. I don’t know yet what other brand works

It’s an electret condenser mic which does not need an external Phantom power like bm 800 mic. That comes in a set in this video. Mic is connected directly to the v8s. Most of the bm800 mic should work. Sorry I’m not expert on good kinds of mic.

Hello. Do you need to have a phone to use AS WELL as an iPad or can you use just the iPad. Is the phone only used to create a visual video. If you just want to record sound, you only need the iPad?
Ok, I hope you get one soon. The one I got I can’t make it work properly and there’s so much lack of information on this product. It says it works wireless if you like because it has Bluetooth but that didn’t work at all, don’t know how they think and on the back you option for the mic input 2 mic and 1 Dynamic microphone so I’m not sure if phantom mic is possible. What to do for recording videos from pc?
Connect the supplied micro usb to usb A to your computer and V8s then set sound input and output on your computer. Open camera of your computer then record.

Wether you connected it via Bluetooth or directly connected to the music input of v8s, you can control the music volume from the device itself (music source) also from the music volume knob from the v8s. Now if you are recording or streaming TAPE (or Record volume knob) has to be on high. If you connected an external speaker for home karaoke- Monitor volume slider has to be on high.

Unfortunately this kind of sound card does not have turning off monitoring feature so you will always hear your voice unless you lower your mic volume but your voice recording/streaming output will be low as well

If you are using an iPhone with lightning adapter to record, perhaps it’s the adapter issue. I also heard about phones not being compatible with sound cards but unfortunately I can’t really tell you what are those phones as I only have a few phones.

Not sure what you meant. If you meant your pc is not reading your V8S, just unplug then plug back in. Then check on your sound setting, if it shows up there.

I have same sound card at home. For the life of me I can't get the sound on my laptop wile I use it. In OBS I managed to pick up my vouce but no sounds from the sound card record. When I do my voice overs on my laptop in Microsoft clipchamp there's no sound. In my games I play no sound. I have lenovo gamimging laptop . It only hase 1 port for headphones and mic same time. My headphones also has a mic on it. When I use it by its self 100% fine. When I connect it all to my sound card I have this issue. Could you please help or advise me how to fix this issue. Thanks
Sorry if I don't know much about lenovo gaming laptop. Have you tried connecting your V8s via micro usb to usb A from the charging port of v8s to your laptop then setting the v8s as your input and output. This mean you are going to connect your headset to the headset port of v8s.

Did you use a lightning adapter for iPhone? Coz that would be a common issue. Not all adapter works, some are only for headphone for us to hear but won’t work for Recording. I bought mine from Apple Store.

Are you trying to record to an iPhone? Perhaps your lightning adapter is the issue as not all you will able to record, some are only for headphone but you won’t be able to record.
@@jenuds yes, cables are new and included in the set of soundcard when i purchased. I even tried getting music using laptop but still no backtrack. Live streaming is fine. But video recording using the same set of cables does not work.

Not sure how you connected your games with V8s. Anyway try to turn the Music volume up to hear your game sound. Unfortunately V8s does not have Monitoring on/off feature. If you lower you mic volume, your playmate will not hear. If you lower the monitor volume you will not hear your games sound and mic volume.

I don’t have Oppo phone to test. Please note you might have to buy xlr to 3.5mm cable as when I got mine it didn’t come with it - you will need it to connect to v8. Great review! Does this have some sort of noise cancellation feature built into? For context, I am planning to connect a speaker box (not a headphone) along with a microphone and some background music. Much like a live karaoke. Would this cause a noisy feedback loop?
Thanks. I can’t see a noise canceling on this unit that I have. For karaoke set up, yes connecting a big speaker is ideal. Just use a long cord or extension on the microphone so it’s not close to the speaker as it will feedback.

It depends on the mic. There are condenser mic which are corded with 3.5mm jack. Please note not all condenser mic works like Rode NT1A, Shure SM7B. BM 800 condenser mic works

I have not used this for a long time yet. Yes you can plug while in use but sometimes it causes buzzing sound or like an electrical interference.

Did you use phone adapter? Do this test. If yes, using the phone adapter you have try to record to your phone with a voice changer from the sound card. If your voice did not changed, then issue is the phone adapter. I bought my adapter from Apple Store. I don’t know yet what other brand works

Unfortunately there is no turning off monitoring on most of these sound cards. You always hear yourself.

If you already tried setting the tape or record volume up and still won’t record all the effects then Most likely it’s the adapter issue. Even if you follow everything, if you’re using the wrong adapter, you will only hear all the effects but will not work for Recording or Streaming. I got my adapter from Apple Store

It’s an electret condenser mic which does not need an external Phantom power like bm 800 mic. That comes in a set in this video. Mic is connected directly to the v8s. Most of the bm800 mic should work. Sorry I’m not expert on good kinds of mic.

Hello. Do you need to have a phone to use AS WELL as an iPad or can you use just the iPad. Is the phone only used to create a visual video. If you just want to record sound, you only need the iPad?
You can switch them. You can record a video or audio only to phone, iPad, tablet or laptop.
Does it have built in noise reduction? If so can it be turn off manually?
So far there is no denoise button on this unit. The manual does not say if it has built in Denoiser.

Ok, I hope you get one soon. The one I got I can’t make it work properly and there’s so much lack of information on this product. It says it works wireless if you like because it has Bluetooth but that didn’t work at all, don’t know how they think and on the back you option for the mic input 2 mic and 1 Dynamic microphone so I’m not sure if phantom mic is possible. Anyway, I hope to a full review on it, sound check and and livestream setup. Have a nice day 😊👍
