The turbos on the n54 are small turbos that work in parrallel, they are not sequential so both spool up at the same speed. You can still drop off boost when in a high gear at low speed. Both turbos will be spooling up from 1500rpm. With a tune (download and install via you cellphone) you can get 350hp and 500nm of torque. There is a big 335i tuning community as its so easy to make power with n54 and n55 engines.
Good to see a kiwi review…and someone with a genuine passion for cars. Only suggestion Ide make bud is keep your foot down antics for rural roads and not residential…not a good look I’m afraid. What kind of cars to you hunt down for reviews? I see you seem to like Honda’s…anything else ?
Absolutely fantastic cars - great balance between comfort and handling. Best steering of any car I've owned. Even at 14 yrs old, they still embarrass a lot of performance vehicles. Made to gobble up highway, and pretty fuel efficient too. They do have some known weaknesses, so a warranty is an absolute must, as repairs are expensive. The pain is worth it though.....
@@KiwiCarLife That’s really cool considering we never got the 335i Touring in the US only the 328i. We did however get the 335d sedan, although they’re very rare. I know they also made 335d tourings and coupes in Europe which are not very common as well.

Nice - definitely got a lot of tuning potential
Great video once again ! love fast wagons
Cheers man - they're pretty epic cars
I really enjoy the fact that this vehicle is equipped with Active Steering. That's a nice (and rare) option.
Well done.
Mmm very nice

Cheers, yeah mainly Honda's, but I quite like toyota's, bmw's and a few others. Usually it's just whatever people are prepared to lend me

Yeah they're good cars. You might enjoy my comparison between the Accord Euro and a 335i sedan I've put out recently too 🙂
I really like the roof rack cross bars. What is the source on those and who makes them? Very slick.
No idea sorry man not my car
I absolutely love your videos, I'm trying to watch everything. I'm almost done😁

Where can i buy this car 😍😍
If you're in NZ the owner is selling it soon - hit him up @akila.marage on insta
Front left wheel looks damaged
Yeah probably
quality video !! I would much rather buy a Toyota vitz than this car though imo
Funny you say that coz the owner of this is selling it for a vitz haha
Americans wish they had this car
They do don't they? Or maybe not the wagon version I dunno
@@KiwiCarLife We didn’t get the 335i wagon. Only 328i wagon. We have done swaps though.
@@billyowusu48 oh, interesting

@@KiwiCarLife yeah the funny part is, its the exact same one you reviewed in this video same numberplate and everything
