This game is honestly pretty nostalgic for me because I didn't have a Wii U back then! I was a hardcore 3DS user up until 2018 or so and this might just be the Smash game I put the most time into. I'll always have fonder (heh) memories of Brawl and Subspace, but I definitely like Smash 3DS more than the average Smash fan
Smash 3DS is really Underappreciated. It had the better stage selection, a better classic mode, and the best exclusive mode Smash Run. Honestly better than the Wii U version IMO. I also have more nostalgia for the 3DS version because I always played with friends during our high school days.
I highly RESPECT smash 3ds for being a handheld smash title which was absolutely mind-blowing while everyone prefers the wii u version, i think the stages and modes in 3ds are far better , keep up the good work ya earned a sub your videos are keeping getting better and better 👍👍👍
I got a (used) New 3DS XL for Christmas, and yeah, that’s probably not the best thing to ask for as a Christmas gift in late 2023, but Smash 3DS with an N3DSXL is actually a really good experience. Coming from someone whose first smash game was Brawl (AND someone who plays Rivals of Aether using a keyboard), I’m pretty used to manually inputting smash attacks and all that, but the C-Stick on N3DS models is a nice addition, if not a bit clunky. I usually find it more convenient to manually input smash attacks rather than reach up to use the mostly-bearable C-Stick, but when I’m in a pinch it’s a nice backup option. Another welcome addition with the N3DS is the inclusion of Z buttons, which help out a lot as well. And I dunno if I’m just built different, but the circle pad feels pretty responsive, and I haven’t really found any issues using it. Plus, the 3DSXL line is larger overall (in addition to the Toon Link themed case that came with it, which widens the whole thing a bit for lack of a better term), so I can hold it a bit better. I can’t really speak on the multiplayer, though, because the only experience I have with that is one time when I played against one of two total people I know in my school that have a 3DS.
I actually used the 3DS as a controller. For real. I did not own a wii U, but a friend of me did. And on a meet over with like 3 others, we did not have enough wii motes. BUT, we had 3DS with Smash 4. So we could play all together by using some 3DS as controller.
I love Smash 3ds, and even though I had Smash Wii U, I still played the 3ds version all the time until I got a switch in 2022, and now I just play Ultimate
This Was My First Smash Game So I Hold a Lot of respect to It. It helped me get Into the Smash Bros Series. It’s Understandable That It’s Not The Greatest And Easily the most forgettable but I Hold it Close to my Heart.
not allowed, Nintendo will never allow characters they own or co-own to be in fortnite ever because epic games doesn't believe in platform exclusive content
This was a good and entertaining video. That said, I did play this game for dozens of hours online both with friends and strangers in the “for glory” mode. As you mentioned, a lot of more people owned a 3ds than a Wii U. I skipped the whole Wii U till the switch and this was my alternate during college.
Honestly, this game is remarkably better on the New 3DS. Runs super smooth with thr 3D on, giving the game it's own unique visual flare, and the c-stick, as awful as that nub on the system is, makes the overall playability with tilts or smashes on it just way better and easier to pull off. Plus it has ZL/ZR buttons. That said, while I used to always play the main game when I would travel (along with Ocarina 3D and Dead or Alive Dimensions, because they were the 2 best games I had for the console the first time I flew to my college just months after the console released, Smash being the only game ever added to my travel bundle), these days, I probably play the demo more than the game itself. 1) because I downloaded the demo and only had a physical card for the main game until basically the day before the eshop closed and I bought it digital; and 2) the demo never received any of the patches and I really like how Link felt in the demo of the game I personally really loved this game. And while I always regretted that we never got a sprite-based Smash game on the GBA or DS, I still really appreciated the slightly different art direction this game took. Personally, it's my favorite look Smash has ever had, especially with the 3D, since I love the depth, regardless of how unnecessary it is. I still keep my 3DS on my nightstand and play it pretty regularly, though mostly only for Pokemon with my wife or other Pokemon games for my not quite yet a living dex, lol. Maybe I'll put this one on a and play a round of Smash Run just for old time sake. If that mode had just a few customization options, so you could remove the lame competitions at the end of it and only keep the good ones, and adjust the dungeon run time limit, it would be perfect. I also find the physics of this game far easier to go back to on handheld than the Wii U, after playing Ultimate, though I still never got used to some of the aspects of Ultimate that affect the game feel, like the input delay and input buffer. I basically dropped the game before the DLC finished, and I played every other Smash game ever basically until the day the next one came out, or longer. Wii U I played less, but Ultimate was the first to actually lose me, and it's the only one I ever quit the single player mode and never went back to it for
I really liked your points on Classic and Smash run, 3DS really did have a unique appeal to it Makes me wish they gave these features a shot for Ultimate
Tomodachi Life is one of my top favorite games, link between worlds is amazing, I played and loved majoras mask on it, I prefer sonic lost world on the 3DS, it’s just that a lot of the 3DS games I’ve looked back on have not aged the best and I think it’s interesting to talk about that
For what it was at the time, it's pretty good. Playibg this with my friends at school was dope. Not a lot of reason to go back to it now. But I will say it's better than brawl

being able to get a group of friends and play Smash OUTSIDE justified everything else this game lacked tbh
Smash 3DS is really Underappreciated. It had the better stage selection, a better classic mode, and the best exclusive mode Smash Run. Honestly better than the Wii U version IMO.

Honestly your so right smash 3ds is so much better then wii u

Smash 3DS was the first game I played in the franchise, so it'll always have a special place in my heart
Same!
Same!!!!

I love crusty handheld Smashy Bros
I kind of forget this game existed
My entire time in high school says otherwise 😂
As always, great video! Also congratulations on 7k subscribers!!
smash ultimate was only made because it was satoru iwata's last request he had for sakurai
this might be a hot take but the hype for Smash 4 as more exciting then the hype to smash ultimate imo
I love smash 3DS idc what people saying
You're absolutely right to do so
Yeah!
I love you're videos man you rock!
“The worst smash game” and you show the 3DS version. I would say the Wii U version is way worser than the 3DS version by a mile.
Dude u genuinely need more subscribers. I think ur the next big Nintendo ytber.
Bro is a very underrated version of Scott the woz
I'd say Smash for Wii U is worse, considering the worse modes, worse stages, and potential thread of poisoning your Wii U just by playing it.
But at least it doesn’t give carpool tunnel when you play it
What the heck is this "potential thread of poisoning your Wii U"? Did you make that up?
@@ThatGuyWhoGamesat,east the 3ds has smash run and a real classic mode lol
wait this isnt melee, reporting for clickbait

Yeah but its just better then the wii u version
When do we get more smash characters in Fortnite? Further merge them as the one true ultimate crossover
not allowed, Nintendo will never allow characters they own or co-own to be in fortnite ever because epic games doesn't believe in platform exclusive content
Smash 4 was literally the 1st one I ever played! Specifically the 3DS version. Smash Run forever!
Objectively Smash Wii U is better than the 3DS (apart from Smash Tour) I do have an immense about nostalgia for the 3DS version. Good memories

I really liked the jokes in this one :)

I really liked your points on Classic and Smash run, 3DS really did have a unique appeal to it Makes me wish they gave these features a shot for Ultimate
6:22 love me a can of
same dude. i love drinking
It’s on my top 5 3ds games list and maybe even by favorite smash game. Do you even have a favorite 3ds game since you rant on most of them?
Tomodachi Life is one of my top favorite games, link between worlds is amazing, I played and loved majoras mask on it, I prefer sonic lost world on the 3DS, it’s just that a lot of the 3DS games I’ve looked back on have not aged the best and I think it’s interesting to talk about that
Smash run is the only reason i played 3ds more
For what it was at the time, it's pretty good. Playibg this with my friends at school was dope. Not a lot of reason to go back to it now. But I will say it's better than brawl
It's better the the wii u version because that version is soulless the 3ds had smash run and a real classic mode lol
Ngl ur really underrated dude love ur style of editing and humor but i think the channel could do better if u didn't shit on everything 😂
The wii u is still worse

Brawl is the worst.
Wrong imo, but you do you
Wii u is the worst
