Watching you stab those scissors through the prop box lid had me like 🫣😂 But the air layering looks great! 💚 I’m excited to see how that plant improves!
I love the chill vibes of this video. Today I did light watering of every plant before I go out of town. It’s a weird time- too soon for a full water w fertilizer and pest treatment, but if I wait some plants will suffer. So everyone got a sip today. Then some reports and rearranging. This video totally fit today for me.
Pro tip, wash your pots after you repotted a plant and then put it on the shelf. I used to do this too, and my shelfs got so dirty and it annoyed me so much! Now i only ever clean a few pots at a time and my shelfs are still clean ✨
You did great air-layering! I do the same exact method- ball of sphagnum and then wrap it around. Air-layering works really well, I wish I had started doing it sooner.
I have an office Birkin and a home Birkin. I don’t typically love the growth habit but I think the Birkin wears it well. It looks like a pinstripe suit. I bought them after they were a thing before I knew that it had been popular. Still like but I get it.
Spiders are nothing. My favorite snakeplant, a Samurai, came with a tiny lizard, I found it on the top of my laptop last weekend, bought the plant sometime in May or June. It's still alive and luckily likes to hide. Hoping it doesn't multiply. The plant could use repotting, but I am oddly reluctant. Nice air layering demo, please keep us updated.
I've seen botanic gardens doing air layering with nursery pots, both with sphagnum moss, but also it seems with whatever soil or substrate they use. The nursery pot is usually slit vertically to make it possible to wrap it around the node, not sure if I explain it coherently 🙂 I want to try that at home.
Your plants on planks make me so happy. I decided to put my cebu on a plank, and it literally attached in a few weeks! I'm hoping to get some mature leaves soon 😭❤️
Your air layer looks good! I usually rubber band or use a plant tie to secure the bottom, and leave a little “crack” open at the top of the plastic so I can water the moss if it starts to dry out. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out, I love the Splendid too!
great presentations....question: so often i purchase wonderful plants for from the big box stores that do not come with name tags. i know that iphone has some apps that are used for plant identification. have you used any of them & are there some that you can recommend. would love to know the names of the plants i am growing!!! thank you
Ok my question is how did you not freak out when you found spidermites??!!! I would have instantly taken them outside way far away from anything and start shivering 😂 for real.. Also the plants I have on a moss poles have done nothing either I don't like them. Do you have a video about the planks?
For anyone interested in checking out the watering bucket, it's called PlantaPotty! Here's a link: go.magik.ly/ml/1g8lj (aff link)
such a relief to see your wet stick container is pretty crowded - I think I got way too precious about having to have a huge prop box.

I used your code to buy a new mothers light, appreciate you having a code. Love your videos and spunky personality
Some clear risers would definitely help with the placements in the ikea cabinet, I got some for mine and I could fit 5 more plants inside 😁
Great idea!!

Love watching your plant chores videos while I do my own plant chores! had to water my big plants this morning, and it was quite the workout 😅
Creative Genius! 🌟

Hey Becca, I have 2 questions for ya! 1. Where did you get that adorable dress? 2. Where did you get that nifty drain lid for the bucket?
I made this dress! Thank you :) and the plantapotty is linked here - go.magik.ly/ml/1g8lj
Love your videos! Amazing looking plants 🪴 🌱
I hope I can be chill about pests one day…. I still get like intensity nervous vibes and it’s stressful. 😑
Super cutie dress also
Excited to see how the air layering goes! I've never tried it, but def will if it works for you 👏
Always love your videos:). I'm looking forward to updates on the air layering of the splendid, I'm just about to air layer mine
Ahhhhh love you Becca💗🌱
Do you use tap water for your plants? What kind of planks do you use? What kind of fertilizer & how often?
Love your dress, super cute on you!
Thank you so much!!!
Even though it's small, I think I may air layer my el choco! my plant has several naked nodes at the bottom of the stem...
That bucket is genius! What is that called?
I NEVER have enough saucers! It's so hard to find affordable terracotta
Do you change the microfiber cloth in between plants when you wipe down for spidermites?

Where did you get the clips to hang stuff on your peg board in the cabinet?!?
What do you do when plant grows to top of plank?
Do you need air roots to air layer, or is a regular node okay?
What pesticide for the spider mites did you use?

I’ve had spider mites so many times that I’m pretty desensitized to it 😂 I used to reslly freak out
How would you chop & extend on a wood plank? 😯
What kind of sphagnum moss do you use?
Are those clips that you used in your cabinet from ikea????
Yes! They’re a part of the pegboard set (not included but in that “set” of products)
Whats the lid you have on the 5 gallon buclet??!?!?1 I NEED
Yesss! I need that too!
It’s called a PlantaPotty! Sold on Etsy
@@BeccaDeLaPlants thank you!! ❤️ 🪴
💚💚
What happened to your HUGE Adonsoni?
It’s in another corner!
Missed seeing Leo and Cooper in this one.. 😪
What is the bucket lid contraption? Don't recall seeing this before. Brilliant device.
I've been trying to find the right combination of words to google for this! I need to know too!
