Okay, I’ve never seen Cuties, since I don’t want to be put on a criminal watch list, but I’ve looked into it, and I think the point was ultimately that people were supposed to be shocked and disgusted by it, but that there’s so much soft child porn in it that it ultimately defeats its own alleged purpose. Since it’s French, I frankly believe it, since the French are known for their extreme filmmaking, and I think it may have just been an attempt at being provocative gone wrong.
That happened before with the movie My Little Princess. French are like that
