Greatest rhythm guitar player in the world. The fusion of the two telecasters is such a perfect sound. Rossi and Parfittt are so underrated it's criminal.

@@mikesmith22050 Both guitars had the back part of the bridge/pickup plate cut off and different bridges installed; Parfitt's with a Jr. style wraparound bolted to the body, but the strings still run through the body, Rossi's has a tune-o-matic style bridge and 3 Strat size rail humbucker pickups. Rossi used to have G&L MFD pickups at one time. They're still tele-ish, I guess.

...and pretty much all types of music in general! We're the best...simple as!! Bands/artists, from all over the world, look to the UK (if not base themselves here) because of the international musical (and cultural) reputation of this country. It's just such a massive shame that the uptight, narrow-minded Tory types really don't understand this. They don't see it/understand it/value it! How they can't I'll never know...I really won't. IMO we have THE BEST musical and cultural reputation in the world. Everyone looks to this country, especially in regard of music, but it goes over the Tory's heads. For a group who like to pride themselves on their ability to capitalise on owt they can get their grubby big hands on, they miss this time and time again and have always done! I don't get how they can be so slack, dumb? Yet they continue to pull it off and totally miss out???

Got to watch a Van Halen concert in Long Beach , California from the side when I was US Navy shore patrol and we were there to pick up a drunk sailor, the local police invited us to stay, even the drunk didn’t mind. That was 1978 and I wish it would have been Quo!!

Norwich Theatre (where I saw Deep Purple, and Wishbone Ash), or more likely St Andrews Hall? (Where saw The Stranglers, King Crimson, Curved Air, The Feelgoods, Hawkwind, etc., in the seventies) Terrible acoustics, but conquered by King Crimson with the biggest PA bins I'd ever seen at the time! Many good times!

Have listened to prog,Zappa and god knows what over the years. I saw the classic line up at Blackpool opera house about 1978 and it was the greatest gig I ever witnessed.

Rick is giving it some with his strumming! In my first ever gig we had a support band which included Francis' son playing his first ever gig - he spent most of his time in stage with his back to the audience! We thought Rossi Snr might turn up but sadly not. That was a few decades ago now - I'm still playing guitar live (and often use a Tele and Marshall half stack - but just the one!) and loving it :)
Quo made some great music. Not sure why Google suggested this vid to me but I'll be jamming along with some of their tunes tomorrow... sorry neighbours! :)

Saw them live at Wembley area about 30 years ago, awesome show supported by Dumpys Rusty Nuts ( one of the best band names in history ). Sometimes simplicity is an art.

From yhe#1 USA FAN, best day of my life, met Rick before the house of blues LA, show, got a picture together . He was still wearing a universal studios sweatshirt , Donald Duck, daffy etc. Nicest guy, first time was in Portland, paramount theater. Love email much. rip my friend.
