Props to Looygi, tho; he did Champion’s Road with all the characters, yet he didn’t actually beat the levels to keep the aesthetics of the green stars for the video
Wow! These moves that you did to avoid hazards were incredibly impressing! Especially the ones you did at the Luigi part. Not gonna lie, you're an epic gamer, Looygi!
this identical feat took me 4 players, 15 mario franchise amiibo, 350 lives, 4 pro controllers, and 27 hours with no sleep, and you? I envy your skill, and to say that I have 3D world burnout because of this is an understatement.
The additional speed on this one (Switch Version is 30% faster regular speed according to Looigi) should make things easier as long as you focus and don’t panic.
One small tip. When you reach the Chargin’ Chuck section. You can simply sprint across the larger gaps instead of jumping. Since it saves you from the risk of landing in between the far smaller gaps and dying. I’ve only done this with Mario, Luigi and Toad. So I don’t know if Peach and Rosalina can do the same. Edit: this is just a tip for those who aren't aware of this.
@@omarpikm2101 that is true, tho after numerous attempts, i managed to beat it with the leaf, maybe when i get to that part again, ill bring an invincibility leaf
@@omarpikm2101 yea, if you go into multiplayer and go to a secret exit with a invincibility leaf in your pocket, you can only pull it out once unless you die or beat the level, then it becomes a normal leaf
Out of all the powerups in this game, I feel like the raccoon suit is the only one that REALLY makes a difference. More airtime is crucial in this level.
Just remembered this laser/speedboost part as small peach is a NIGHTMARE because she is so hard to see. She's just a blob of yellow hair and it blends in with the speed pads so I would lose track of her in the chaos and fell off plenty of times.
Fantastic video!!! The main difference that I did when I did this is at the 3 magikoopa part I always tiled the camera to the right or left since something about that view made it really difficult for me to judge depth perception and would miss jumps. Congrats on pulling this off and with such swag too! It was funny watching how conservative the Mario was and then you get more and more confident and gutsy with the later ones. Love it!
Back in time, this game clearly was my favorite, I would really want Nintendo to make a new iteration for this game. Bowser’s Fury (the bowser’s fury part, not the Mario 3D world port) seems fun but doesn’t have the same feeling as Mario 3D World in terms of platforming. I had really great times with my little brother trying to complete the game at 100%. I was always rocking Luigi and letting him the Wii U Gamepad and Mario (I was acting like it was just to let him the better things, but I actually preferred the Wii U pro controller and Luigi’s high jumps haha!). I also remember when we were trying to complete this level, I used to always wait for him and sometimes I was telling him to enter in bubble mode lol. However, we still managed to complete the level several times! That was good times!
As I was playing this tonight I noticed something. The pipe that mario goes through at 2:30 vanishes when the water block passes over it. It doesn't go away, it just turns invisible. This did not happen in the wii u version according to videos I looked up minutes ago. It is something they should patch because this caused me to lose a life when I didn't deserve to.
I knew that if I did not beat this level with all five and get every star and stamp in the game I would regret it for the rest of my days and luckily I can sleep again, but damn this is crazy good. This seems like the next logical challenge.
This level is so fun! I had this as my goal but the last part is so hard! Peach was super easy to do this with but I haven’t been able to do it with the others. Down 1.2k lives so far. Haven’t tried Rosalina yet but imagine it would be similar. Mid air roll ftw. Screw the haters
So fun fact you can save the game before you go in with your power ups. And if you happen to screw up reload and you’ll have your power ups again that’s how I got through this.
Keep in mind every character has a different ability. Mario - Standard Luigi - High Jump Peach - Flutter Toad - Faster Speed Rosalina - Spin Attack I usually play Toad because of the speed, but you can choose whoever to play and it completely changes the gameplay required. This video proves it.
Each would have their own stats to like Mario is Standard, Luigi has higher jumps but slower speed, Toad is fast but has short jumps, and Peach’s float makes up for her short comings of slow speed and short jumps. I’m not sure about Rosalina however.
@@luigigreen_ thats dumb. Every character can jump and run. That just means there's nothing special about playin mario and no reason to do so. Unless you like playing mario

On the other, I’m annoyed because I’m getting all the way to the end before dying, and having to completely restart. Stupid boost panels. -.-
Mario: Kinda hard, I guess? Though you can still do it with him using the skills, despite that he's the only one who doesn't have any special abilities Luigi: His scuttle jump is useful Peach: Easy to use since she has floating power Toad: He makes it harder due to his fast speed, especially at the Dash Panel part Rosalina: Her spin is useful since she can attack enemies even without powerups, and acts as a double jump
It took me a little more than a month, but I eventually completed that level with all five characters. Of course, it did require some super leaves unless I was using Rosalina.

Did they change the criteria for accessing Champion's Road. When I saw RTGame beat it it looked like he had only gotten everything with Rosalina and not all the characters, which is what was required in the WiiU version.
You never needed that in the Wiiu edition, you just need one the top of all flagpoles, no matter the characters and all the green stars and the stamps except for the last 9, which are only obtainable after entering world crown
In the switch port you need all the green stars, stamps and golden flags of the prior levels to access the world, and as soon as you do you can play Champion's Road, without needing to complete the captain toad level, the mystery house level, and all the other levels with every character, since for doing that you get a stamp for each character
I can confirm that in the Wii U version you need all stamps, golden flagpoles and green stars to unlock World Crown, while to play Champion’s Road you don’t need to first play the mystery house and the captain toad level
Oooh, ok. I was playing with Toad because he is the fastest and can maybe cheese some parts with his speed, but maybe I can use peach too. Thanks for answering! (I might play with Peach for the Cat Suit and maybe Rosalina with no power-ups since her spin attack isn’t in use in the Cat Suit.)
