That's all it is...twisting...laughing out loud. Amazing. I did that and thought it a mistake (of course it was not the pattern that I was attempting to construct). Now I can make an entire blanket as a fashionable mistake. Bless you.
Thank you so much for the new patterns! I've successfully made the cat bed, winter hat and many blankets...very good instructions and easiest I've found to learn! Keep up the great work!!
I just received my first order of yarn from you and can't wait to make a blanket with the twisted/herringbone stitch! I'm having so much fun learning from you!!!
I've been looking for just the right pattern for my first hand knitting project. This is definitely it. Can't wait to get started. Will likely double the size. Thanks very much for all you do!!
Hello, how can I connect this design to a different design that has already been stitched out? I've been trying to find "how to's" that will show me how to connect different patterns together. Is that even possible? This is my first time venturing out with crocheting. Thank you for sharing your time and talent.
Hello April, hard to answer as I am not sure what a different design you would like to add but unraveling the last row and then adding any other design is one of the things to do
@@BeCozi Thank you for your response. I was wondering if I could possibly do a zig zag with a basket weave stitch. Is that possible? How would connect a basket weave to a zig zag stitch? Im very new to this and I hope this isn't a dumb question. Thank you so very much!
With this pattern, is it possible to create the chain/braid like edge along the sides of the blanket (same as the cast on and cast off rows as you have described in previous videos - skip a stitch method)? Or does that method not turn out well with this pattern? Also curious how this pattern looks with multiple colors in one blanket. I love your videos. I've learned so much watching your tutorials. Many thanks!
Thank you, glad you like my videos! Yes, it is possible to create an end stitch on both sides as in other videos as a boarder. Start with two extra stitches and do not twist them
This is beautiful! I've never knitted or hand knitted or hand crocheted anything but want to try. As my first project, I'd love to hand knit or hand crotchet a not so large squared 20×36 (chunky) rug for my bathroom floor. Would this be possible? If so, how many skeins would I need, and how many rows would I need to make? Sorry I have lots of questions, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
@BeCozi, Thank you very much for replying back, as well as answering my questions, and for making such wonderfully colored hand crotchet/hand knitting easy projects I'm definitely going to try. Will be checking out, and giving a big thumbs up to more of your videos! 😊
Loved your videos. I was never a knitter of any sort but I became addicted. Thank you for sharing different patterns. How many stitches & how many skeins for 53" x 75" blanket?
5 skeins for a small lap throw 30x50 inches. The yarn is BeCozi Chunky chenille yarn: 26 yards in one skein: becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn
I love this pattern it’s so beautiful in person . I have been struggling with the measurements with this stitch . I will measure out 40 inches and then when I’m done it has shrunk to 30 inches . Any clue why? Am I stitching too tight ? Please help !

Did the same when just started. Need to knit looser or start with more stitches if knitting tighter
Is there any way to recreate this with a hook?
This is knitting, hook is used for crocheting. It might be possible but we would not be able to do it
Can you do a chevron pattern with 2 colors?
Sure, there is a video tutorial on our website: becozi.net/pages/video-tutorials
How many rows is it in total?
It depends how tight a person is knitting. 5 skeins is needed for this size, cast off when 3 width of the yarn left
