Im travelling from England to Thailand in 4 days… 11hrs flight. I’ll be 30 weeks going up and 32 coming back. Not many videos about third trimester travel… thanks for the tips
Thank you for this video! I definitely don’t want fear to get to me flying in my pregnancy. I’m in my 2nd trimester and doing really well. This is very helpful.
So fun that you and your mom did a girls trip together!!! Aw she is sooo precious! I also was traveling for 3 weeks in Europe while I was 3-months pregnant with my twin girls! I haven’t made a video about it but you’ve totally inspired me to share!! Oh also I’m Carolyn too!!! Definitely a new sub! So glad I found you! Feel like we have so much in common! Thanks for sharing this awesome video! Great tips! & Looks like you had an amazing trip! You go mama!! 😍 Looking forward you watching more of your content!
Love this and thanks for your kinds words!! How was traveling with twins in your first trimester?! Were you feeling well by then? How old are your twins now? Xo
Thank you for your tips and advice!!! Feeling much more relieved about planning our trip. The video was awesome very informative, concise and all super helpful.
I see that you visited the Chinatown in Yokohama, near the Yokohama Stadium. Next time you can transfer at Sea-Tac Airport in Greater Seattle. JAL, Delta and ANA all have direct flights from Seattle to Narita Airport in Chiba. It is only 9 hour flight from Seattle.
This is what we should have done! We went through a travel agency and got a huge discount for doing the flight this way. If I would have know I would be traveling pregnant I definitely would have booked as direct as possible! Thanks for the tip for next time!! 😊
This video was so helpful thank you so much! Did you get any vaccines to travel to Japan? I have a family trip planned and will be 28 weeks pregnant and just trying to get over all the nerves and what ifs! 😅
Hey! Thank you!! I filmed this over a year ago now even though I’m just posting it today and my baby is now a toddler. So fun to look back and see how squishy and little she once was! Thanks so much for watching and following along on!!
Thank you for this ! I may be traveling to Japan during my second trimester and these are great suggestions I hadn't fully thought about. Question - since Japan is a mask-wearing country, especially during/after covid, how did you deal with that during your pregnancy? I'm concerned about the lack of oxygen I'll get while wearing a mask pregnant.
That’s such a good question! I actually traveled before Covid but have a couple suggestions. First get a mask kand yard for around your neck (similar to a glasses holder) so you can take it off and wear it around your neck / not drop it. Also, get some peppermint oil to put in your mask for calming / better experience breathing. That can also help with nausea but you won’t be nauseous by that time. Also if possible, get the regular medical masks that are more light weight. Not sure if they make you wear the kn95 ones but those tend to be heavier / hotter. Keep water with you so you can have an excuse to take your mask off to drink (but really to take a breath without the mask on). I hope these help!!! I wish you the best of luck! When will you be traveling?!
Uff haha nice to see someone else in my situation! We booked our vacation without possibility to change it and now I will be 30 weeks when we go!! I have free flight tickets and we want to go to Japan and I am SO NERVOUS! We want to pay extra for Business (from Paris to Japan) which allows me to even lie down completely, so It could be good. I HAVE A QUESTION! From whom did you get the insurance?? In Europe I could not find one which would insure me this far!
Omg! Can you come tell you how it goes! I’ll be (hopefully) going to Europe, like 4 countries, when I am 30-32 weeks pregnant. This wasn’t planned and the trip it’s paid for. My whole family is going.
@@loren3012 oooh sounds nice!! 😍 Which countries are you visiting? And when? I am from Prague in Czech Republic. We are going in the beggining of May, on the 8th. 🤔
It will be in September. I literally just found out I am pregnant and started freaking out, the whole trip is paid for lol this video gave me hope!!! I’m be going to Paris, Berlin, Prague also :) and then Salzburg and Vienna. 2 weeks trip
How many weeks were you exactly??? I have a surprise pregnancy. Have a Euro trip already paid for. I’ll be 30-32 weeks 😳 my parents will be there with me. I’m a bit worried.
Honestly, the flight it self was okay! The whole trip was tiring but worth it. It’s not comfortable to be in the plane for that long and I didn’t sleep much, so just make sure you have time to Rest when you get there. Compression socks are a must! I wore on the way there and it was helpful, forgot to put them on on the way back and my legs were swollen. I also bought one of those blow up things for the feet are on Amazon and set it on the seat next to me where my toddler was sitting and that was helpful because I was able to put my feet up Also, get up often to get circulation going, wasn’t a problem at all because I had to pee all the time lol you’ll be fine!
It's a girl! We announced it at the same time we announced the pregnancy! It's the first video in our pregnancy journey play list if you're interested to see it. :D
I had one prepared, along with all my pregnancy medical records just in case something happened. I didn’t end of needing any of it, but would recommend bringing it all with you!
Please comment any pregnancy travel hacks I might have missed! Thanks for watching and I wish you blue skies for your travels!
