This really helped me a lot I am about to fly for the first time in all my pregnancies, and I am nervous about it. But after watching your video it has helped ease my anxiety
Hello ladies x In the end it was absolutely fine. If you feel like you can't stand in long lines you can go to the fast track side of the queue at the airport. The actual flight was fine, I got up to do stretches probably less than I should have, I wore compression socks (not sure if they did anything). But in terms of anything happening to the baby or discomfort it was fine! I understand the anxiety. For me it was coming more from the fact that I was still throwing up daily at that point and also just the unknown, but once you are in the air that will go away xxx let me know how you get on and how many weeks you are x
@@angelainniss7986Hello, I am in the same boat. I have an 8 hour flight and then another 10+ flight a week later Did you have any issues - did you check with a Doctor?
You just gained a new subscriber ! I’m about to fly Toronto to SD with my 4 month old and your previous travel video has helped a lot! Regarding customs and air canada when flying alone did you have to bring a consent letter?
lifeofmc yay! So glad you enjoyed. Yes, you need a letter from your spouse saying they know you are traveling with the baby! To be honest, I think I have only been asked for this 70% of the time but definitely have it handy
Hi Nin, yes I have. I flew from Toronto to Vancouver and back in the first trimester. I am not a doctor, and I think that everyone who is pregnant should get checked out by their doctor make sure that there are no complications before travel when pregnant. Here is an article I found with some other considerations. www.parents.com/pregnancy/my-body/is-it-safe-to-travel-during-my-first-trimester/
My travel is next week and I’ll be 31 weeks and when I come back home I’ll be 34weeks. I wasn’t worried but now I am just a little bit. My longest flight is 8.50 hours going and coming back 10. I hope I don’t develop blood clots.
@@natalypriegovasquez8771 Yes, I made it there and back. I didn’t have a hard time except minor swelling in my legs but I made sure to get up and walk, I also tried to do leg exercises. It helps to have aisle seat or pay a little more for comfort plus seats. I didn’t take much snacks, so I do recommend that you carry some in case you get hungry. Also save any food you don’t eat when they give you meals, like the small bread, cheese or cookies for later. While your waiting for your next flight walk around. I didn’t have enough time to buy compression stockings and try them out before my trip but would have love to try that for the swelling. I knew if I would have put them on without seeing if I liked them I would have been uncomfortable the whole flight. Good luck on your trip. Also remember to stay hydrated.
@@mitselas892 I’m due to fly tomorrow at 33 weeks. From South Africa to London, I’m extremely nervous! This is how I came across this video to see how other women found it. But this helps to ease my anxiety abit 🥺🥴

I am not sure, I would ask your doctor about that one.
