Kanjivaram is something to pass onto future generations. Thank you so much for the demonstration and all your tips. One small note as a Tamilian. Most people shop for Kanjeevarams from popular shops like Nalli/Pothys. But Chennai has really good smaller stores which sell better designs. Some have their own looms as well. So if anyone is heading to Chennai for a trip, don't forget to get one! I personally love Sundari silks and Palam.

In one of your video, you showed a trick on waist pleats where we arrange it down first, and then up. Its difficult to do that when the pallu is done. Any tips mam?

Could you please suggest how to store sarees as well? I end up having lines on the saree due to folding and those don't clear up while ironing as well. This makes it difficult to make pleats later.
