Add a litter tracking mat inside box by litter box to help litter tracking. I love the idea! I need to try this so my sog doesn't bother the litterbox 🤦♀️ using a pool noodle could help those harsh edges too if tape doesn't work 😊

Using a blow dryer makes cutting it so easy, like a hot knife through butter.
Use a soldering iron, they are way easier and better. Ensure the one you get is hot enough since weaker ones will take forever to heat up the plastic!!
My cats would still get litter everywhere but inside the shelter lol
A dremil tool would have been the better choice for cutting out the plastic

Why don't just use the bin as a litter box instead of putting another litter box in it.
To control the smell
Next time after you use the paddle bit to make the hole use a jigsaw to cut out the rest it will be a lot cleaner and way easier
I did same thing. It works, keeps smell down too. Does not stop litter tracking
I used to think this was a good idea but, I've heard that cats can get respiratory problems from breathing in the dust from their litter, especially because of using enclosed litter boxes. That's just not enough ventilation for kitties.
Or you could use a slightly shallower bin as is since it’s the right dimensions anyway.

That’s too much. Unless I’ve got 60 cats I can’t see filling that up to 3-4 inches. Hell to the No!
Too much work I just use that as the litter box. I tried cutting a whole for easy in and out we had to use heavy duty sissors. If you don't want to cut a whole out from the side you can place a step stool next too it and they can use it to go in and out.
But I found a deep and wide with a low side for entering with a built in holder for the scooper at Petco for 40$ yes a bit high but it looks great.

Not everyone can afford $700 self cleaning litter boxes. Also it’s smart she put the small boxes in the big container so that no actual litter gets on the floor.

I just care about my cat and kitten and I scoop and clean their LitterBoxs everyday.
And really if you can’t afford to go buy a normal LitterBox don’t get a cat. This is just wrong on so many levels
@@serenast.germain3469 should go back and watch the vid. She has a normal littler box inside the large plastic containers. It’s so when they dig the litter doesn’t get on the floor. Must suck to be legally blind.
