My idea many years ago. A ventilated cat litter box but never got around to making one . Basically the same thing with out the other electronics or the light. Now the only thing left to do is make it self cleaning.

I’ve done a similar design, but I have attached a rigid, vacuum and a triggering system whenever my cat open the door it activates a switch
