At this point, I feel like (almost) every new hero that gets added is at first not seen as good, simply because people don’t know how to use them correctly yet xD
Yeah I think it's fine to be cautious, but people are WAY TOO CAUTIOUS. Like... I don't think anyone can argue that Vala, Florabelle, and Alsa are good even though they may not be meta-defining in the way Eironn or Thoran are. It's very possible that the next hero may as well be Thoran 2.0 but honestly, I don't see it... and honestly, I don't want it, lol, I'd rather have more heroes that are strong on their own and enable new strategies (Florabelle, Vala...) rather than a must pull unit that tanks your account if you don't have it.
Ludovic just buffs Eironn team further.
People told me Alsa was trash on release day but I let my spreadsheet do the talking and she's arguably the best unit in my Barracks by a county mile.
My guild mates also used to rage when I sent them my maxed Grannie Dahnie as a Synergy Tank. They promptly apologized after they played the match.
Lots of people are quick to base an entire character off how they relate 1:1 to a pre-existing character that is defined as meta tier, when some of our recent releases are much more complicated than that.
I can see him being a very good healer against snow stomper.
-He doesn’t rely on his ultimate for the majority of his healing.
-He, as far as I know, doesn’t lose his field when he gets controlled.
-He doesn’t deal that much damage, so he should basically never be turned into a snowman.
-His ultimate healing ability is a big burst of healing, meaning that he can burst heal very quickly during the breaks in the snow storm.
Yea pretty accurate
Hes fantastic with a well built viperian (+21, p1), basically guarantees that Viperians exclusive skill will proc in 10 sec and guarantees executes with his global range lifeweaver blooms.
Got him to s+ within 110 pulls, 6 b2b with a double happy even if he shit
3 copies with 96 pulls here. It makes no difference if he's shit or not cuz hes not usable with only 3 copies 😂. I should have expected max pity and saved up 320 pulls.

You sold me zeebo into getting Ludovic. I got really lucky on the summons as well, got to mythic in just 70 pulls, just need 2 more for ex wep.
@@Pihox I'm on 90 pulls with two pity drops. I feel so sad for my drop luck. Everyone keeps saying about double drops, still never seen them xD
@@user-mq4oq3yr7vWe are on the same boat. 96 summons, only 3 copies. Last week, I also have 76 stargaze for 1 Scarlita too. Im never bother saving anything anymore, just open as I go cuz Im hitting pity anyways.

Maxed him & I feel his seasonal skill is the best skill. I’ll be concerned once this season ends! I feel ppl forget he’s a healer lolz
Yeah Hewynn, Damien and Smokey are also a healers that make Ludovic a complete garbage with just healing.
A lot of these new characters are only useable thanks to new season buff. Once it ends, they become trash. Flora is only op rn because of the new season buff.
@Zeer7676 Flora was strong before Season Buffs even became a thing. Besides, her Season Buff is only relevant because it's bugged, otherwise a handful of other meta units already have it as well and it doesn't stack there.

I wouldn't mind a Dream Realm character if 1.) It was easier to get them to Supreme+, 2.) There was more than one new character every month.

Thats why i wanted to aks the following question:
At the moment my afk stage team is Thoran, brutus,odie,smokey, koko.
For the next season i want to build the following comp: grannie,arden,eironn,viperion,damian.
Suppose all units are on s+ and upgraded to 3star. Would you recommend switching to the said arden,eironn,viperion comp ?

So he's maybe good at pvp in the future, and he's good for whales with at least 3, preferably 4, built out Hypocels to compete for the very top spots in dream realm. Is that about right?
Yes. It's yet another method of them to try and get people to swipe on Celestials while doing literally nothing to stop their overbearing presence. Nothing more. Great design.
We went from Marilee/Odie being viable to every team in both PvE and PvP featuring 3 Celestials in the span of two months at most. And when we finally get the Graveborn healer that should have been here on release, he's just a glorified advertisement for Talene + Phaestro and is worthless outside of their teams.

According to the video, he looks to be good in dream realm, mainly with Talene.
Why is all the old characters better than every new character
That is a ton of investment though with Talene and Phraesto needed.

Ludovic + Talene + Thoran is DISGUSTING. Add Bryon + Viperian and you get this undead energy vampire team it’s SO fun lmaoo
I think he is good, but i dont think he is a good fit for the graveborne faction. He needs a situation where a tank is surrounded by enemies, preferably taunted, so that he can focus on healing that one team member.
No one on graveborne fits that description. And all it takes is one enemy to AoE ult before the entire team is dead from lack of heals.

Igor is the answer; the problem is that neither of them have any real synergy with the rest of the Graveborn cast. Ironically the best synergy he has is with Igor, Niru (execute on the Ludovic's single target ability + needing a healer himself to survive), and Viperian in that order. Igor is at least usable, Niru is basically worthless outside of one meme unit for Dionel who functions fine without him, and while Viperian is the most viable of the bunch he's also worthless in the Eironn meta because he just takes too much damage for free to use his main ability. Neither him nor Viperian can be moved at the start of the fight so they can handle one Eironn ult, but they're dead the second it comes up again.
His CC is so impossible to use without Igor that Carolina can't work with him, Sylvina is awful on defense and has better comps to work with on offense, Salazar might be usable with him but is yet another unusable character that no one will build. So you've got the melees or you've got Viperian.
Basically, he works best with the units you'll probably never use anyway and has no chance of bringing them into the meta. Literally all they had to do was release a healer that gives the team damage based on missing HP or some kind of anti-CC to deal with Eironn, but they couldn't resist turning him into an advertisement for Talene and Phraesto.

Between Alsa + Soren and Talene + Ludovic, they're really doubling down on trying to milk people via fomo or else they feel like shit because their character isn't working as effectively as it's meant to.
So fucking scummy. Why couldn't we just have a PvP Graveborn healer that does literally anything to help with the Eironn + Scarlita meta that makes everything else irrelevant. The point of having a healer for all factions is so all factions can contest each other in PvP. We don't need a fourth PvE healer because we're still going to be locked into Marilee/Odie or Scarlita/Phaestro/Talene, with Graveborn units being nowhere in sight in PvE anyway, depending on whether we're willing to bankrupt ourselves on a game that's already dying.
He is worse Damian.
